Chapter 340: Forever With You (1)

Marrying Lennox for the second time on her twenty-second birthday wasn’t on Adrienne’s plan. However, with things almost settled in the Jiang family, Adrienne was ready to face another Chapter of her life with Lennox. The wedding would be held next week, and only close friends and family were invited to witness their special day.

On that day, she and Lennox were scheduled to take some wedding photos they had failed to take before their marriage. Adrienne had walked out of the dressing room, dressed in a plain white dress that accentuated her natural beauty. Her long black hair was braided and resting on one of her shoulders, and a light make-up was applied to her face.

Rosemary looked at her daughter with pride, admiring how radiant and happy Adrienne appeared. She couldn’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia, remembering the little girl who used to dress up in her mother’s clothes. She felt like it was only yesterday when she was holding Adrienne as a baby.

As Rosemary watched Adrienne, she couldn’t help but marvel at how quickly time had flown by. She realized that her daughter had grown into a confident and independent young woman, ready to embark on her own journey.

"Mom, why are you crying?" Adrienne was startled to see her mother in tears. She wondered if Rosemary was in pain. "Is everything alright?"

Rosemary quickly wiped away her tears and smiled at Adrienne. "Oh, sweetheart, these are tears of joy," she reassured her daughter. "I was just thinking about how proud I am of the amazing woman you’ve become. It’s overwhelming for me to see how far you’ve come."

"Mom." Adrienne’s gaze became gentle. She knew her mother still felt guilty for not being there for her during some difficult times in the past. "I want you to know that I don’t hold any resentment towards you. I wouldn’t be here without you, and you don’t need to feel guilty for anything. I’m satisfied and content that you are with us now."

Rosemary nodded and dried her tears, not wanting to make her daughter upset. She didn’t want to ruin this day for Adrienne. She wanted her daughter to be happy and to feel loved.

"You look so beautiful, Addie. I can’t wait to see you in your wedding dress," she commented. "Abigail and I had a hard time finding the perfect dress for you. You have no idea how many bridal shops we went to. But it was all worth it because we found the most stunning dress that suits you perfectly. You’re going to take everyone’s breath away when you walk down that aisle." Rosemary smiled, feeling a sense of pride and excitement for her daughter’s special day.

Even though she normally appeared cold, the Adrienne before her had a slight smile; she suddenly transformed into a woman in love, glowing with happiness. As Rosemary admired her daughter’s radiant smile, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of joy and relief. It was clear that Adrienne had found true happiness, and that was all that mattered to her.

Adrienne smiled at her mother nervously. Though she and Lennox were already married, she couldn’t help but feel nervous. Not long after, footsteps could be heard from the distance. Adrienne and her mother turned their heads and saw a man striding with an imposing manner.

Lennox’s eyes were immediately drawn to his wife. In his eyes, there were many beautiful women in the world, but there was only one Adrienne Jiang who held his heart. As he approached, Lennox’s confident stride matched the determination in his eyes, ready to spend the rest of his life with the woman who brought him true happiness.

Adrienne turned to face Lennox, a tall, well-built man wearing a black suit with his collars freshly straightened. Her heart melted into a mess as this incredibly attractive man approached her steadily.

"You look stunning, my sweet." Lennox’s lips curled up upon seeing her. He watched as a few strands of her hair gently fluttered in the wind. He approached her and gently swept her hair behind her ear.

"Addie, do you know? Only you can make my heart flutter."

Adrienne’s face flushed, and she looked away from his face.

"Len, my mom is here." She reminded him, only to hear her mother let out a laugh.

Rosemary, who had been observing the interaction from a distance, playfully chimed in, "Well, it seems like Lennox has quite the effect on you, dear!"

The scene before her was harmonious and beautiful at the same time. After spending some time with her son-in-law, Rosemary was relieved to know her daughter had managed to find a man who could love her wholeheartedly.

Adrienne blushed even deeper and couldn’t help but smile at her mother’s teasing.

"If you are ready, let’s start the photoshoot. They must be waiting." She said to her husband.

Lennox chuckled and nodded, his eyes filled with adoration for his wife. "I’m ready whenever you are, my love," he replied, taking her hand in his.

When they arrived at the beachfront where the set of the photoshoot was located, Adrienne was amazed by the breathtaking view. The golden sand stretched out before them, meeting the sparkling blue ocean in perfect harmony. The gentle breeze carried the scent of saltwater, adding to the enchanting atmosphere.

The photographer asked the couple to act like they were enjoying a romantic stroll along the shoreline. Adrienne and Lennox effortlessly fell into character, their laughter and playful banter filling the air. As they strolled hand in hand, their love shone through each pose, creating an ethereal and alluring scene that the camera captured. The scene flowed smoothly without any flaws.

Like an old married couple, they were totally in sync and bursting with emotions. It seemed so natural how they behaved around each other. Their chemistry was undeniable, as if they had known each other for a lifetime.

The way they effortlessly moved together, anticipating each other’s next move, left everyone in awe of their connection. Adrienne had a calm and serene presence, while Lennox had a doting and adoring expression on his face.

It didn’t take long for them to finish the first half of the wedding shoot. Adrienne returned to the dressing room to get her makeup done for the photoshoot, dressed in her bridal dress. Myrtle joined her and her mother in the dressing room, and Rosemary took the chance to show Myrtle the bridal dress Adrienne would be wearing not only for the photoshoot but also for the wedding ceremony as well.

"It looks beautiful, Auntie!" Myrtle exclaimed, her eyes shining with admiration. She couldn’t help but imagine Adrienne in that dress, walking down the aisle with her own true love. The intricate lace and delicate beading made it a truly breathtaking gown.

She was going to wear a stunning sleeveless wedding dress in a champagne color. It wasn’t the most spectacular bridal gown—it was only many layers of gauze with no expensive crystals or other precious stones that could be seen from other dresses—but it did have a beautifully hand-embroidered design that gave the gown an extremely lovely appearance.

The dress didn’t stand out too much, like Adrienne’s relationship with Lennox. However, once she donned the dress, Adrienne appeared gorgeous to everyone in attendance. The champagne color complemented her skin tone perfectly, enhancing her natural beauty. The hand-embroidered design added a touch of elegance and sophistication.

To finish the look, she was wearing a necklace and earrings that perfectly matched the intricate design of the dress. The accessories added a touch of sparkle and completed the overall glamorous look.

"Abigail would be pleased if she could see you right now." Rosemary commented, "In fact, why don’t we take a few photos that I could send to her?"

"Quick, Addie!" Myrtle exclaimed before handing Adrienne her bouquet of flowers. "Let Auntie and I take some pictures. I’m sure Valerie is also curious about how stunning you look in this dress." Adrienne smiled and graciously accepted the bouquet, feeling a surge of joy and gratitude.

As Rosemary and Myrtle captured the moment, Adrienne couldn’t take more than a few poses before the assistant photographer called her. Adrienne reluctantly handed the bouquet back to Myrtle and hurried over to the assistant.

As she walked out of the dressing room with her mother and Myrtle, everyone looked at Adrienne in amazement. Among them was Lennox, who was clad in a white suit and was waiting nervously for his wife to step out of the dressing room. The sight of Adrienne took his breath away, and he couldn’t help but smile, knowing that this woman was his wife.

Lennox’s heart swelled with pride as he watched Adrienne gracefully make her way towards him. He couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have such an incredible woman by his side. As they locked eyes, Lennox felt an overwhelming sense of love for her. There was no one in this world he would rather be with than Adrienne.
