Reborn ghost seeing lady is pampered by her ex husband-Chapter 640: Cillian’s Ramiel.
"Forbidden fruit!!" Phoebe bellowed angrily. She raised her hand to slap that table and everyone braced themselves for the impact.
Fortunately, Star intervened, sending out some magic so the impact of Phoebe's angry slam was zero.
"A person cannot get married quietly in Citrus city without the nosy media finding a way of making it dirty and ugly." Phoebe complained as she kicked the leg of the dining table. "I was born a Mayfair princess. What poverty to princess nonsense stories are they writing?"
Everyone tensed up again. They looked at each other and shared similar thoughts. 'We are familiar with the punching, kicking is new.'
Maureen wondered if it was the right time to purchase a furniture company. If Star matched Phoebe's energy after birth, they would need a new table every day.
Luna chuckled, lowering her phone. "Soon something will happen that will take everyone's attention from you, this city is full of scandals. Just yesterday they could not stop talking about me and Luke, saying he had tamed the bad girl." She poured green tea into a cup.
Phoebe giggled. "Oh yeah, that was funny. They brought out all your old scandals and made you appear to be a ruthless gang leader in a slum."
Luna had not found it funny then and she did not find it funny now. Because of them, residents of the founding lane were back to looking at her with suspicious eyes.
"Where is nana?" Phoebe asked curiously. Today the dining area was scarcely populated. It was not like her grandmother to miss dinner. Even when she was not going to eat, she still sat down, drank some tea or wine and engaged in conversation.
Jennie's face twisted. "With her husband, they have been locked away in their room for most of the time today. God knows what they are doing up there." She giggled mischievously.
"Eww! Jennie, my parents are just too old to be doing it. Stop giggling like that it is so wrong and disgusting." Maureen's fork only went halfway to her mouth before she lowered it.
Letting out a soft laugh, Phoebe stared at her aunt. "They are human too and who said that just because people are old, they cannot do the deed. They are lovers that have missed each other for many years. If they don't come out for a week, I will not be surprised." She stated her thoughts on the matter. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
[Maybe I should give grandma some tonics to help her get back in shape. Grandpa looks too good for his age, what if he thinks she is not attractive anymore? No..no...I must help grandma quickly.
Or maybe I should give a grandpa a tonic that makes him age to his correct age. That actually sounds better than my original plan.
Wait! how old are they? I hope that they don't accidentally make a baby in their old age. Magic is a funny thing. We don't know what other changes have occurred inside grandpa's body while the demon was using him as a house.
I definitely don't want a human-demon aunt uncle!!]
Maureen shoved a spoon full of rhubarb custard pie into Phoebe's mouth.
"Stop thinking, just eat."
Despite this, Phoebe continued to think. She thought so much that they gave up on reading her thoughts and ate their dinner.
After dinner, they all went to the academy to track on the progress of things and attend classes. With only six days left to the blood moon, there was no time to waste.
The academy was a busy place as usual; hunts had been stepped up even more with the availability of the magic bullets and Enigma having been turned into a demon hunting dog.
All evil had been cleansed from the academy, and it was thriving. The air was warmer; plants and flowers were blooming. From the looks of things, classes had resumed in full swing.
Phoebe, Maureen and Rekha went to find Rufus and get an update. They found him in the hallway close to his office, getting an update from a group of hunters that has just returned from a mission.
"Ah, you three are just in time to hear our update." He welcomed them. "The hunters for the day of the battle are more than ready. Most of the demons have been taken down, except for one. Azur. That sly bastard continues to evade us."
Rekha whispered a curse. "And Enigma, has he perhaps given any clues about where Azur is or what his plan is? I do not believe that he knows nothing." She spoke; her eyes fixed on the group of hunters beside Rufus. "There are some other strong demons ranked just below Azur. Those on Enigma's level. Have you captured any?"
"No, not even those in the photos." The leader reported to Rekha.
He was older than her but in rank, she was higher than him as she was junior guardian and he was still a hunter.
"That is right, most of them crawled back to hell. We have made it too hot for them to crawl around here." A female hunter chimed, her tone carried a hint of victory.
Rufus cheered them on and asked them to continue on their way. He then returned his attention to Rekha. "On Enigma, he says one thing under torture, but his eyes say another." He responded to her earlier raised question.
With her thumb pointed at the disappearing group of hunters, Phoebe asked about the mentioned photos.
"Follow me." Rufus requested
He led them group to the meeting room where three large photos of faces had been pinned to the white board. "These are the pictures of the people around Enigma and Othello that disappeared when I called for an open hunt and cleanse. We are certain that they are demons or human helpers. It was a large number as half of the Unilever insurance employees were involved but we have caught most of them."
He said, his chin lifted in towards the direction of the dust bin which was halfway fill of photos of those that been eliminated.
"Those two." A voice said before something flew into the room. "I just personally facilitated their damnation." The winged man informed them.
"Ramiel! How did you enter in here?" Maureen asked, announcing the man's identity.
Rufus' brows almost launched off his face. "The Ramiel? Cillian's Ramiel? Angel Ramiel?" He was genuinely surprised, being that it was the first time he was seeing an angel very up-close.
The angel strolled to the front and unfurled his wings. "In the flesh." He said, offering them a dramatic bow. "And I am not Cillian's Ramiel."
"Now all eyes back to the board." He pointed at the picture on the left. "It seems your human eyes are still lacking. This right here is Azur, he changed the color of his eyes but that darkness inside, I can see it. I can identify him from anywhere."
Quickly, Rekha rushed to move closer to the board. "Yeah, you are right Cillian's Ramiel, that jawline and head shape is his. He fooled us all by altering his appearance." She prodded the picture with the tip of her knife and then drove that knife between the eyes of the picture.
