Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey-Chapter 1532: Pregnant From Kiss? Is that Possible?
Inside the Academy, Victor and Dora walked through the long marble corridor while soft echoes followed their steps.
Victor spoke calmly, explaining his findings about the card. Dora listened beside him, humming thoughtfully as she nodded along, her eyes glinting with quiet curiosity.
"So that Vesperine girl somehow figured out how to raise the values," Dora said slowly, turning her head to look at Victor.
A sly curve touched her lips as her gaze lingered on him. "And now she wants to trade those secrets by marrying you. That is quite the proposal, don’t you think?"
She chuckled under her breath, "Not bad, Mr. Victor. You really are catching every fish in the sea these days, aren’t you?"
Victor shot her a flat look, "That’s not funny."
"Hahaha," Dora laughed openly, her shoulders shaking slightly as she leaned closer to him while they walked.
"Is it really not?" she replied lightly. "Maybe it isn’t so bad. One day you’ll understand what it truly means to live surrounded by a harem~"
She tilted her head and added with a sing-song tone, "You could at least give it a try."
Victor’s lips twitched violently as if resisting an instinctive retort, his jaw tightening for a brief moment.
Dora noticed immediately and pressed on, her amusement growing as she studied him from the corner of her eye. Her steps slowed just enough to match his, as though she wanted to savour the moment.
"Look at you, suddenly so quiet," she said softly, feigning innocence. "Oh my, don’t tell me you’re actually interested in her too. Still, it wouldn’t be easy. With so much competition, winning her affection would take real effort."
She clicked her tongue and shook her head theatrically. "Such a pity~"
Victor refused to rise to her bait. He had learned her habits well enough by now, and he was not about to fall into one of her verbal traps. Instead, he redirected the conversation,
"How is Mira doing?"
Dora sighed as she realised her teasing had failed to provoke him. She clicked her tongue again, and her expression shifted into something more composed.
"Well, I haven’t seen her directly," she said after a pause. "She’s still wary of me, which is understandable. Aside from that, she’s been treated well."
She straightened her posture and added with mock formality, "Everything is proceeding exactly as you wished, Your Majesty. Now tell me, do you have any orders for this humble Principal of this humble academy?"
Victor blinked, slowing his steps slightly as he studied her more carefully. Something about her demeanour felt different and lighter than usual.
"You seem too happy," he said quietly. "Did something happen?"
Dora blinked in response and shook her head, "No. I’m the same as always."
Victor narrowed his eyes slightly. He leaned a little closer as they continued walking,
"No, you’re not. You don’t act like this without a reason. Tell me what happened."
Dora fell silent, her footsteps slowing until she finally stopped. She turned toward him fully and smiled, not playfully this time, but warmly, with a softness that felt almost fragile. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
"Do you really want to know?" she asked.
Victor nodded without hesitation, his attention fully fixed on her now.
Dora raised her hand and beckoned him closer with her fingers. Victor leaned in, and the corridor seemed to grow quieter as Dora lowered her voice and whispered near his ear.
"The reason I’m happy," she said slowly, each word deliberate,
"... is because I am carrying a life.
I am pregnant."
Victor froze where he stood. His face drained of colour as shock crashed over him, and his eyes widened as he stared at Dora, unable to process what he had just heard.
"... What?" he muttered, his voice barely above a breath.
Dora’s cheeks flushed a gentle red, and she smiled shyly, almost affectionately, as she met his stunned gaze.
"Don’t look so shocked," she said softly.
"After all, you are the reason this happened."
Victor’s thoughts spiralled out of control. His chest tightened as confusion and disbelief tangled together, his mind desperately searching for memories that simply were not there.
"... What? What?" he blurted.
He stared at her, horrified beyond words.
He was the reason?
When did this happen?
How did it happen?
He could not remember anything that would explain this.
Dora reached out and flicked his forehead lightly, her expression half-amused, half-exasperated.
"What do you mean ’what’?" she said. "You kissed me so roughly, and now I’m carrying your child."
Victor staggered back half a step, his face contorting as if reality itself had betrayed him.
"... What? What? WHAT?!" His voice turned broken record.
She had his baby just because he kissed her.
What the fuck?
Holy shit.
Does this mean she could get pregnant just from a kiss?
What the fuck?
Well, it wasn’t as if it was completely impossible. Dora was not a human, after all. She was a different kind of being entirely, and who was to say what rules truly applied to her body?
If she said it was possible, then maybe, just maybe... There was a chance.
A fox having a child through a kiss. It sounded absurd, ridiculous even, yet the world Victor lived in had never been short on absurdities.
Miracles and impossibilities happened every day, often without warning or explanation.
Still, the idea gnawed at him.
Having a baby because of a kiss.
What kind of twisted miracle world was this supposed to be?
His mind reeled, scrambling to make sense of a future that had just been thrown at him without mercy.
He wasn’t prepared for something like this.
Not even close.
His thoughts began spiraling out of control, each one colliding with the next in frantic succession.
Clothes?
Medical care?
A place to live?
Education?
Money?
Responsibility?
A future that suddenly felt terrifyingly real!
"S-So many things," Victor groaned, dragging a hand down his face. "What should I do?!"
Dora watched his face contort through shock, panic, confusion, dread and acceptance, standing close enough to see every flicker of emotion.
She tried to hold it in, really tried, but it was impossible.
"Hahah..." she burst out laughing, unable to contain herself any longer. "I’m kidding. Hahaha! Look at your face. You look so shocked, it was absolutely worth it."
Victor snapped out of his spiraling thoughts and stared at her, disbelief and irritation mixing together as his shoulders stiffened.
"Fuck you, bitch!"
Dora blinked at him, genuinely caught off guard by his reaction. She placed her hands on her hips, glaring back at him.
"Oi! What was that for?" she protested. "You can joke around, but I can’t?"
Victor snorted and turned away, walking off with an annoyed scowl etched across his face. He couldn’t believe he had almost fallen for such a stupid trick.
Dora stared after him in surprise, then quickly jogged to catch up. She reached out and patted his shoulder lightly, her tone turning casual again.
"Come on," she said, trying to suppress another laugh. "I didn’t think you’d fall for it that easily. I mean, who would actually believe you could get pregnant just from kissing?-"
She paused mid-sentence as she noticed something odd. Victor’s cheeks had turned visibly red.
Her eyes widened.
"Y-You?" she stammered before bursting into laughter again, clutching her stomach. "Oh my goodness. He actually believed it!"
Victor clicked his tongue, refusing to look at her, his cheeks still flushed with embarrassment.
"Always playing around," he muttered under his breath.
It wasn’t like he truly believed her or anything.
Not at all... He definitely hadn’t been reminded of that childish rumour he once believed when he was young, about kissing leading to pregnancy.
Absolutely not.
Totally not the reason!!
Anyway, Dora finally managed to catch her breath and wiped the tears from her eyes before speaking again, her tone shifting into something more sincere.
"I’m happy because," she said, "the Academy is finally going to run properly again. Tomorrow, I’ll begin the inauguration of the Academy."
Victor heard her words, but he didn’t react... He absolutely did not care. Not even a little!
Dora smiled softly at his stubborn silence. Understanding that he was still sulking, she suddenly grabbed his wrist and pulled him toward her, wrapping her arms around him in a sudden hug.
"There, there," she said gently, patting his head as if comforting a child. "That should calm you down."
Victor stiffened immediately and glared at her, clearly offended.
"I am not a child!"
Dora blinked as she nodded, watching Victor’s expression grow even more irritated by the second. Her lips curved faintly, as if she had made a quiet decision in that moment.
"Yeah..." she murmured. "I guess this will do it then."
Before Victor could react, she stepped forward and pressed her lips against his.
Victor’s eyes widened instantly, his body freezing in shock as the sudden warmth stole his breath.
The contact lasted only a moment.
Dora pulled back slowly, her lips parting as she winked at him with a playful glint in her eyes.
"Sorry," she said lightly. "I didn’t know you were this sensitive about things like that."
Victor swallowed and licked his lips unconsciously, still processing what had just happened.
"You’re really insensitive sometimes," he said. "You know that, right?"
Dora laughed softly and winked again, clearly unfazed.
"That’s just how foxes are~"
She held his gaze for a moment longer than necessary, her expression subtly shifting. She didn’t quite understand why, but something unpleasant twisted faintly in her chest... The thought of some unknown girl wanting to marry him lingered in her mind, stirring an emotion she didn’t care to name.
With a gentle push against his chest, she stepped back.
"Anyway," she said briskly, brushing the thought aside. "Let’s go get your other princess to safety~"
Victor stared at her blankly, "It’s not what it looks like," he said immediately.
"Yeah, yeah~" Dora replied dismissively.
Victor’s lips twitched.
After a brief pause...
"Anyway," she continued, "are you really sure about this? I still believe she might be the one."
Victor hummed softly as he nodded.
"If she really is the one," he replied, "then isn’t it better to keep her close? One wrong move, and you know what could happen. You know what I’d have to do then."
Dora raised a brow, a knowing smile forming.
"Oh? So you’re choosing that route," she said. "Well then, all the best."
She stepped ahead and opened the door, standing aside as Victor entered the room. Once he was inside, Dora quietly closed the door behind him and walked away down the corridor, her expression faintly amused.
Just thinking about his reaction earlier was enough to brighten her mood.
He really had been thinking about a future, hadn’t he?

Honestly, it wasn’t as if she had been testing him or anything. She only wanted to tease him, nothing more... Yet if he had denied it outright, panicked, or pushed her away, she might have felt disappointed without realising why.
Instead, he had accepted her words without hesitation. He had thought it through seriously, even imagining responsibility and consequences. That alone spoke volumes about how deeply he cared and how much he desired a future that included a child.
Dora shook her head with a gentle smile.
"If you really want a baby," she muttered to herself, "then you’d better train your body and your lust more, idiot~ Otherwise, you won’t even last a minute~ Fu~ fu~"
She continued walking down the corridor, her steps light and her mood unusually cheerful.
Meanwhile, back inside the room, Victor stood still, staring at Mira. She sat awkwardly on the edge of the bed, her hands clasped together, her posture tense and uncertain.
He watched her for several seconds before finally speaking, his voice calm but careful as he stepped closer.
"How are you?"
Mira hesitated before slowly standing up, but Victor immediately raised his hand to stop her.
"No need," he said gently. "Just answer me, okay?"
Mira nodded meekly, her voice soft.
"I... I’m fine."
"And your wounds?" he asked. "Have they healed properly?"
Mira nodded again, her fingers tightening slightly.
"Yeah..."
"And food?"
"Three meals a day," she answered quietly.
Victor stared at her for a few more seconds, his expression unreadable as his gaze lingered on her face. Then,
"Let’s go."
Mira blinked, "Where?" she asked softly.
"I already told you," Victor replied evenly. "I’m taking you to my Empire."
Mira’s lips curved into a weak smile, though hesitation lingered in her eyes. She shook her head faintly, clutching her hands together as if trying to anchor herself.
"I... I’m fine here, Victor," she said carefully. "I don’t think that’s necessary—"
"You’re coming with me," Victor cut in, his tone firm as he stepped closer. "That’s it."
Mira looked up at him.
"B-But my parents," she said quickly. "They would be lonely if I leave them here."
"Then bring them with you,"
Mira faltered, clearly unprepared for that answer. She searched for more reasons...
"I-I still have work here," she insisted. "There are so many things I need to finish. I can’t just leave everything behind."
"I’ll help you with all of it," Victor said calmly, "But first, you’re coming with me."
Mira bit her lower lip, her eyes trembling as she struggled, "V-Victor, I really don’t think this is a good idea," she said shakily. "I mean—"
Before she could continue, Victor raised his hand and gently placed a finger against her lips, silencing her mid-sentence.
"Come with me."
