Chapter 168: Chapter 168: Deaths!
Bang!
Tang Mo felt that sound in his heart as he looked at his mom with wild eyes, and opened mouth.
"You must be joking, that is not possible, I am Tang Jun’s son, mom, if you are joking, then please stop," Tang Mo pleaded.
"I wish I was lying Mo, I really do wish I was lying, I wish you were my son, but that is not the case," Shi Liran wiped the tears which threatened to fall from her eyes.
"How? Am I not a member of the Tang’s? I am confused, help me understand, Mom!" Tang Mo demanded in a loud voice.
Thankfully, there were only a few people in the restaurant, and the mother and son duo had taken seats at a corner.
"It all happened when you were still a kid, you cannot recall because you were just little there, you were about a year old then, adorable and adorable, and yes, you are a member of the Tang, I will explain everything to you," Shi Liran explained with a depressed smile.
She remembered that day like it was merely yesterday!
𝐹𝑙𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘!
On an eerie night, at Tang’s mansion, a family of four were enjoying their dinner, but they would never have expected that it would be their last dinner.
Tang Mo was a little child, he was just one year old, but he was smarter than some of his peers.
He had an elder sister who was five years of age, the family was harmonious.
While enjoying their meal, the door to the mansion was kicked open, and someone walked in.
The person clicked his tongue as he approached the dining room with a malevolent expression on his face. The person wasn’t alone, he was with muscular men who were holding on to guns.
"Big brother, you seem to be enjoying yourself," the person commented.
"What is this insolence, Tang Jun?" The head of the family, Tang Kun asked with folded arms.
"Isn’t it obvious what I want to do, brother?" Tang Jun asked as his eyes darted between his brother and the members of his family with a condescending gaze.
"How dare you, Tang Jun?" Tang Kun thundered.
Tang Jun in return merely cleaned his ears as though he had heard something stupid.
"Brother, you are screaming, do you want to scare your kids? Look, your son is shivering, he fears you," Tang Jun chuckled.
Tang Kun stared at his brother as he wondered what must have gotten into his head.
But he felt danger. He looked into his brother’s eyes, and he could see the dangerous look in his eyes, and warning bells rang in his head. His family were in danger!
As he had his eyes on his kids and wife, he felt a sharp pain in his leg, which was accompanied by his wife’s scream. Tang Jun had just shot him in his legs.
He fell to the floor on one knee, gritting his teeth as he tried to bite back on the pain.
"Go!" He turned to look at his wife who had already picked up the kids, and was about running.
Tang Jun watched the entire drama with a bored expression on his face. He turned to look at one of his men, and he gestured for him to bring the lady and the kids back.
The muscular man fulfilled the task with ease, and though she struggled, her strength could not be compared to a man who worked out every day.
She let out a yelp as she was dragged back to the dining room.
"Drag them to the sitting room, I want to have a small chat with my brother," Tang Jun ordered as he walked to the living room with a haughty expression.
The muscular men dragged them to the room. Tang Kun did not bother fighting, his brother had decided to show his real colors after their father had died.
Meanwhile, his wife and daughter whimpered. The little boy, called Tang Mo, only looked on with a blank expression. He did not understand what was happening.
Tang Jun looked at Tang Mo, and a strange light flickered in his eyes.
He walked towards his sister-in-law, and tried to pull the boy away from her. But she held on dearly, while tears fell from her eyes.
"Tang Jun, stop this madness, you have a problem with me, don’t bring my family into this, let them go!" Tang Kun pleaded, as he cursed himself inwardly for being weak.
"Sorry Brother, but since they are related to you, they are threats to me," Tang Jun muttered unapologetically, and with one last pry, he was able to get Tang Mo from the woman.
"Tang Mo, give me back my son, give me back my son!" Chang Binu yelled as she tried to lunge at Tang Jun only to be brutally shot.
"Mother!"
"Binu!"
Tang Kun and his daughter yelled simultaneously as they looked at the woman who fell to the floor. She had just been shot in the heart. She was dead.
Tang Kun had a dumbfounded look in his eyes as he looked at his wife’s dead body with an astonished look in his eyes. He thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. He knelt on one knee as he looked at the motionless body with silence, which was unlike him.
Tang Ling crawled to her mother’s dead body as tears fell from her eyes. She looked at her mother’s body, which had blood all over it, and she could only cry. Her tears were loud, and penetrating to the ears.
Tang Mo, who was in Tang Jun’s hands, looked at his mother who was laying motionlessly, he then turned to look at his father, who had a blank expression on his face.
Then his eyes darted to his sister who had tears in his eyes. He then began to cry. His cries were very loud. There was no telling if he knew that his mom was dead, but he was only copying what his sister was doing.
Tang Jun was pissed off as he turned to look at the person who shot her.
"Why did you shoot her?" He questioned.
"She was about to injure you, I only acted out of instincts," the muscular man replied with his head lowered.
Tang Jun shook his head before turning to look at his brother, who looked like he had lost all reason for living.
He smirked slightly. Probably, Chang Binu’s death wasn’t a bad thing after all.
"Finish them up, I will take care of your son, brother, he will be useful for me, and not to worry, your properties are safe in my hands," Tang Jun smirked, before walking out of the mansion with a crying Tang Mo in his hands.
Tang Kun did not have any reaction. It was like he had already been disconnected from the world.
He smiled when he heard two consecutive gunshots. Finally, the obstacle in his path had been cleared off.
