"You see, Beast Aura is very much an energy exclusive to Monarchs. Which I'm sure you have noticed if you ignore Jade. Anyway, a long time ago, a Monarch fell in love with a human. I won't get into detail. That's something for you to find out on your own. But just know that that's how humans who could use Beast Aura came into being. Even in the lineage, only a few members could use it. The rest used mana like everyone else. Now only Jade can use it and she might be the last to do so... Unless you give me grand babies with her" Mrs C explained vaguely then plugged her desires in at the end.

Muku rolled his eyes at the last part but took what came before that to heart.

He could sense that there was a tragic story involved there. Likely the one Jade was already trying to uncover.

Speaking of which, they should try to dig into her memories some more after she advances. Maybe with R7 strength, she will be able to uncover it all and finally put the muster to rest.

Anyway, they didn't continue talking after that. The clouds were making their move so they had to pay attention.

As was mentioned before, all manner of beasts rained down.

Instead of just sitting there waiting to be pummeled, Jade chose the proactive approach. Which was to be expected honestly.

She jumped up and met the first beast with a strong punch that destroyed it on the spot. The golden beast aura it was made out of was then absorbed into her body.

She didn't stop there as she moved on to the next. It was quite the show seeing her dance around in the air with countless beasts.

Running on huge beasts while punching the smaller ones into oblivion. Then punching the huge ones after.

All with a gleeful smile on her face. She was clearly having a good time. In fact, the others wanted to join her. Unfortunately, it was a trial so they could only watch wishing that their tribulations were as fun as hers.

Even though they already heard from Mrs C that Jade's was by far the most intriguing. They could still hope, right? After all, hers being the most interesting didn't mean theirs won't be interesting at all right?

For now, they could only watch Jade killing beasts left and right and getting stronger with every kill.

After a while, she started turning transparent. Which she didn't seem to notice at all. Or maybe only they could notice it being so weak.

Anyway, after a while, she completely disappeared from their sight. They could only hear her mad laughter as she continued her slaughter until all the divibe beast aura beasts were gone.

Of course, she could only contend against it due to belief energy otherwise the first beast would have vaporised her with no difficulty at all.

That's why R6s needed Belief or Hatred energy before attempting to advance to R7. Trying it without was simply seeking death.

Muku remembered how Scary embushed Spikes from what he was told. He had to commend Scar's guts for doing such a thing without belief energy... Or maybe he had it, and Mrs C suppressed that too in their fight.

Anyway, a familiar explosion occurred though it was a bit different since Jade had already disappeared unlike Raya who turned into a glowing figure first. Maybe it worked differently between beasts and humans.

Anyway, after that, Jade had successfully advanced.

And like Raya, she couldn't be seen, sensed, or located through sound as it sounded like she was all over the place.

And she went an extra mile when compared to Raya as she pinched Muku to make the others know where she was standing.

Interestingly enough, the spot she pinched didn't heal instantly as it should have. Instead, it kept getting more and more painful despite there being no visible injury.

The reason for that was the brief contact Muku had with divine energy. His body simply couldn't take it. That's how op it was.

Everyone now believed in the destruction Mrs C said it was capable of.

Anyway, if Mrs C wasn't there, Muku might have had to take the pain until he advanced.

Anyway, after that was taken care of and he promised to settle scores with Jade, he and the others stepped forward and went to advance at once.

They were interested in seeing the advancement process of the others, but they couldn't wait any longer, so they requested Mrs C to record everything for them, which she readily agreed to do. She was going to record it anyway.

She literally pulled out a movie camera out of nowhere after that...

Everyone just looked at her with deadpan expressions before going on their way.

They all thought that it must be really fun to be her and have all her powers. She literally had the power to pretty much do whatever she wanted.

When will they be that strong? Wait, will they even be able to reach her rank?, whatever that was?

Anyway, Muku and the girls, took their spots that were many kilometres away from each other as not to interfere with each other, but due to Mrs C's space warping, it looked like they were close.

Golden clouds simultaneously appeared above all of them. Stirring threateningly but not moving. Just like what happened to Jade.

And as expected, all of them passed successfully.

Other than Lisa who struggled a bit but eventually succeeded. Her tribulation was a bit different from the others who were tempted with a solo life with Muku or something related to Muku in some way.

Like Muku's death, betrayal, and whatnot.

Lisa's tribulation was losing all her power and being ditched in the mindscape by Muku and the others.

She wasn't completely abandoned and understood where they came from as she had become useless, but that fact almost broke her.

Her life only felt fulfilled when she was with them. So being separated from them and knowing that it wasn't anyone's fault was really hard on her.

Fortunately, her willpower was strong enough to allow her to pull through.

She pulled through by accepting that fate and choosing to manage the embryo's people instead of chasing after what she couldn't do anymore. After all, nothing could be done.

She could either fall apart and wither away, or channel her energy in another direction, where she could still be useful.

And she chose the latter.

The moment she accepted it she broke out of the trial.

As for Muku's trial, it was losing all the girls to Area and the other Monarchs. They ganged up on them and killed them all while he was pinned down and couldn't do anything.

Surprisingly enough, he wasn't moved. He just looked on indifferently.

It was weird that the "Area" in the trial asked him why he wasn't moved.

And he simply said, "It's because I know such a thing would never happen. If they were really in danger. No matter how strong the opponent is, I will win"

His voice was free of arrogance as if he were only stating a fact.

"...You're crazy..." The tribulation "Ares" commented before disappearing.

All this was shown on a big screen. The others couldn't see it, but Jade could. And she couldn't stop the tears from rolling down her cheeks. She didn't know why, but his words really hit her at her core.

And they made her go into heat. Of course, she tried her best to hide it. But the first chance she gets, she's definitely going to jump Muku for some loving.

Anyway, with the soul tribulations done, they moved on to the lightning tribulation.

As mana users, their tribulations were like Raya's.

That didn't mean Jade's was stronger. It was just different.

There was a detail the onlookers noticed about the lightning tribulation.

Muku's lightning was a lot stronger and thicker than the others.

The rest were almost identical though. They might have been a bit different, but it was too close to tell.

Which was understandable considering their class level.

"Still not as strong as mine though" Raya commented while looking at Muku's lightning.

"True. You're the most talented being to exist after all... Well, maybe there was one a bit better than you before, but you're definitely better than Muku. However, as for who will be stronger in the end, we can't tell. He still has his bloodline after all" Mrs C spoke with a little smile on her face.

"Speaking of his bloodline... If it's so overpowered, why isn't his tribulation a lot crazier? I mean, I'm not wishing him death, but I expected something more from a high-profile person than him" Jade spoke before Raya could.

"Oh, that. I can see where you're coming from. However, these tribulations do not involve bloodlines, just a person's natural talent. So no matter how many special extra features you have, they do not matter here. If they did, they'd all likely have a crazy tribulation one way or the other" Mrs C explained.

"Oh... I guess even main characters have normal days" Jade commented jokingly.

"Fufu" Mrs C laughed lightly in response.

Internally she was thinking, {If we looked at it like that, with your tribulation, wouldn't you be today's main character?}

But she didn't say it, choosing not to tease this brash daughter-in-law of hers...
