Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Start of Turf Wars

Sam turned into a grey werewolf, a low growl escaped his lips, BOOOOM, the air shattered.

His body shot out like an arrow and appeared above Seyra like a shadow, his claws drew curved streaks across the air.

Ptuu, blood flew, a wall of blood spikes had appeared and pierced through his body, everybody froze.

A flicker of disappointment appeared on Seyra’s face, before she could relax though, the blood spike wall shattered into fragments.

The excitement in her eyes reappeared, she jumped back slightly dodging his claws, Sam landed on the ground and immediately attacked.

Sonic booms ripped the air apart, both of them were moving so fast the others could barely follow their movements.

However they noticed Sam was not using his abilities which was confusing because he would be stronger if he did.

What they did not know was that he actually was using them, his speed enhancement ability was active.

His feet didn’t glow like they normally did because he was in his werewolf form and as for his blades.

A faint layer of silver light could be seen on his claws, this made them even sharper than his lunar blades.

What they didn’t understand was that Werewolves in their true werewolf form didn’t have precise control over their esper.

Even Adrian was not an exception to this, it wasn’t that they couldn’t use their abilities, they just lack precise control over their lunar esper.

But it was true that weapon creation abilities were an exception, Sam chose to enhance his claws using the ability because that was actually stronger than the ability on its own.

The most surprised though was Seyra, the ability to manipulate and shape blood was a common noble vampire ability.

However its strength highly depended on each individual, hers was relatively stronger compared to others of her peers.

Yet this guy was able to crack and even break her blood constructs, it was a testament of his strength.

While she wasn’t going all out or actively trying to strengthen her blood constructs, it was still impressive that he can do that.

Plus he was fast, strong and had high senses in this form, she found him fun to play with.

She decided to entertain him a little bit longer, she side stepped and twirled on her toes like a ballerina, she spun around and kicked him on the head.

Just as her foot was about to hit him, he crouched so low he lay on his stomach, she missed and his huge hand snapped up to grab her foot.

She raised it up causing him to miss then brought it down like an axe while laughing, BOOOOM.

The ground shattered and dust flew everywhere, Sam’s bones shattered and he coughed up blood.

A crater formed below him and his senses kicked in, without even turning to look he rolled on the ground then jumped away.

A spear of blood pierced the crater where he had been and went all the way in. That attack would’ve pierced his heart.

His chest was heaving, using his full werewolf form drained too much esper energy.

Plus he needs energy to heal and she kept forcing him to, his energy pool was starting to run low.

He crouched low and went on all fours, his hair stood up and his pupils dilated, his tail and ears pointed up.

A low vibrating growl shook his chest, knowing he couldn’t last much longer he decided to go all out. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺

The ground cracked, his body blurred and disappeared from the eyes of the other Werewolves.

All they saw were shadows then he appeared next to Seyra, the air sounded like ripping cloth.

His claws left silver streaks through the air, Seyra didn’t moved as if she couldn’t react but just as the claws were about to hit her, she gave him a side glance.

Sam pulled back his hand and jumped nearly 10 metres away, his hair stood on end, at that moment when she gave him the side glance he had felt a wave of fear he had only ever felt when sparring with Adrain.

He growled threateningly, it was unintentional, a reaction from his body to a great threat.

He realised this woman was much stronger than he was, even at full strength he had no chance at defeating her.

He went on all fours then started running around her, " groaar." He growled and lunged at her even knowing he couldn’t defeat her.

Running was not an option, he was a mighty werewolf, cowardice was not an option, the air cracked.

Sonic booms followed behind him and he slashed his claws at her, she formed a blood barrier to block.

Sam pulled back and twisted to her side, then his body jumped up and twisted mid air with his legs up.

Facing upside down, directly above her, his claws reached down to grab her head, a chain of blood materialised to bind him.

He grabbed it and pulled himself down, that move caught her off guard but his claws were already on her neck.

Sam could already picture his claws ripping her neck to shreds, he felt them touch her sof skin.

Puff, black fog spread out and a cloud of bat flew off, they formed a cyclone 30 metres away and materialised into her.

She touched her neck which had blood on it, the wound had healed but blood remained, it was a slight scratch but the first wound she had taken in this battle.

Sam grinned revealing his sharp fangs. Seyra’s face turned cold, she was not used to pain let alone seeing her own blood.

While it was true that she had underestimated him, the fact that he was able to draw her blood angered her.

Yet at the same time it made her curious about these wolf creatures, their power seemed to surpass that of low rank vampires.

And in terms of physical strength, they surpassed even high ranking vampires like her.

She was certain on the same level, she would find it hard to take on any of them in terms of pure physical strength.

Of course battle strength was more than just pure physical strength and vampires prided themselves in their innate abilities, not physical strength.

She raised her finger and pointed it at him, drops of blood appeared in front of her and before he could react they shot out faster than bullets.

Ptsss ptsss ptsss, the sound of flesh being pierced filled the entire front yard, dozens of finger sized holes appeared on his body.

A few were on his heart, even Seyra paused, " Oh my, did I kill him?" She asked softly but nobody answered.

She didn’t want to kill him honestly, then she saw his body healing rapidly and realised their regeneration could rival that of vampires.

She grew curious on what it would take to kill them, she shrugged and pointed at him again.

Her blood bullets shot out like a rain then a shadow suddenly appeared out of thin air, a barrier of silver energy material in front of him blocking her blood bullets.

" That’s enough."
