A while later...

The two were back in their seats, eating snacks and enjoying the view as they searched.

Of course, they didn't forget why they were there.

Chloe felt a bit embarrassed after the kiss, but she calmed down after a while.

Around thirty minutes later, they received a call from Raya. She had located the planet. And so, Muku tracked her with their soul link.

The other used GPS. Yep, Mrs C had added that feature too. She basically added everything after all.

Anyway, they didn't immediately go back after locating it. They decided to visit the closest planet to them. And that was the Red Planet, a planet that was basically the opposite of the Blue Planet.

It was mostly desert while their planet was mostly water.

The reason why was simple. They could sense life on the planet. Something that shouldn't have been possible considering past revenge.

It made them suspect something. Something quite horrifying honestly.

But before jumping to conclusions, they decided to check it out...

And so, they went.

When they entered the planet's atmosphere, they were assaulted by a rather violent mana wave.

However, they were strong enough to instantly tame it, so it wasn't a problem at all.

But that was already unexpected.

As they got closer to the going, they saw something even worse.

Two groups of R6s... yes, R6s were fighting. Both groups had more than a thousand members.

One group was made up of humongous green and black snakes. The other group was made up of similar-sized sandworms.

The battle was brutal. And it looked super brutal.

Interestingly enough, neither side was using elemental attacks... was it a choice? Did they not have any? Or what?

Muku immediately summoned a small blade. And it appeared as easily as usual. However, he felt a slight resistance that wasn't there initially.

This immediately put his mind into overdrive as he thought about the matter.

"Hmm. So it seems the apocalypse really is affecting more than just our planet. And on this planet, the longer you stay, the more your elemental capabilities are suppressed. Probably to the point of being unable to use it outside of your body. I mean, I'm just guessing at this point. But let's assume it's true for a moment. What do you all suggest we do next?" Muku revealed his thoughts and asked the girls for their input.

"Why are you even asking? Isn't our next move obvious? We should clear up this planet before we're completely suppressed and leave. Do you know how much easier it is to beat an opponent who can't use projectile attacks?" Jade replied before anyone else.

She was fired up and ready to go.

"You read my mind" Muku replied.

The others agreed. Of course, the beasts would have stronger bodies than usual. But since when was that an issue for his group?

More often than not, they had ways to deal with that. The most obvious case was Layla. She was definitely gonna have a field day there.

Chloe instantly took out a few more beast cores. They were R5 but that didn't matter. Quantity over quality was fine in matters like this.

Before she was mostly going for the natural route, but now she didn't have the luxury. After taking the cores she went into the embryo to recover faster in less time.

Technically it was still the same recovering time, but time moved faster in the core so...

Anyway, while she did that, the others jumped in immediately. They didn't need to wait.

Their starting point was the very mini war between the two species in front of them.

Attacks of all shapes, colors, and sizes began raining down from the sky.

It required a little more effort to kill the beasts with normal attacks but that was okay.

They had time and mana.

After a while, a fully recovered Chloe came back and joined in.

The area was soon cleared up after that. They then went all over the planet cleaning out beasts left and right.

When they felt the suppression get too strong, they would retreat into the embryo. When they came out, the suppression effect had been completely reset.

And so, they continued their KP farming.

It was a happy time for them. If they came across a beast that was too strong for them to quickly take care of alone, they'd gather together and bully it to death.

With all of them gathered together, these physical beasts weren't their opponents.

So in just two weeks. They had cleared up the whole planet. And everyone had long reached the peak.

That's how many beasts were on the planet.

It was quite ironic how they had turned a previously inhabited planet back to that state. And they would have destroyed it too had they not controlled themselves.

At the same time, they couldn't help but wonder if this was what Mrs C meant by go to the sea... Did she know that it would lead them there?

Knowing her, she definitely did. She just didn't like being straightforward the damned old lady. Maybe she was spying on them at that very time, laughing at how they were easily manipulated.

That had to be the case, after all, there was no way there were so many R6s on their planet.

Not after they tampered with the main portal. So this is definitely where Mrs C was directing them to.

Anyway, with the planet cleared up and everyone having reached the peak. They left happily.

They didn't want to spend a second longer on the damned planet that kept on suppressing them even after helping it.

Even the Blue Planet wasn't as ruthless as the damned Red Planet. It had nothing to offer but dared to be so arrogant!

They didn't know whether it had a World Spirit or not,

but they didn't care. They were likely never going to return there again anyway.

And if the spirit existed but didn't come to say thanks, then forget it. They had their own ungrateful brat back home to deal with...

....

A few hours later...

"Hey, why didn't you teleport us here?" Muku suddenly asked Raya.

"Because it's unnecessarily wasteful?" Raya replied in a slightly rude way.

She wanted to say something more rude but the girls were there so.

"...." Muku decided not to say anything else. He had better things to do than argue with the brat.

"So now what? Should we wait for mother-in-law inside the embryo?" Emily asked Muku.

Their target had been reached way sooner than they expected, so they were at a loss.

"Sure... however, we won't just be waiting. I'm sure you all know what the next step is" Muku replied.

The girls all nodded.

The next step he was talking about was the combination of domain armour and their avatar.

This would give them a new and advanced close combat mana armour. It was almost like getting a humanoid beast transformation.

As for Raya, she didn't need to do anything. It seemed beasts needed to refine their humanoid forms to look more human instead. Hers was already perfect, so she immediately went to the peak of Pseudo-R7 after reaching PR6.

It was quite enviable. But such was life. There was nothing they could do about it when Mrs C liked her.

And so, the group went into retreat and started working on their avatar battle armour.

Two months later, no one was done.

Even Muku, that's how hard it was...

But they were all making steady progress.

As for Raya, she hadn't broken through yet, she felt that the belief energy she had wasn't enough yet.

However, she hadn't been idle these past two months.

She had gone around the world on her own. Her agenda was to help as many people as she could.

And she managed to do so with resounding success. She made the blood essence contract with all of them and was currently saturated with Belief energy.

This meant that she was ready to advance.

Another thing that was different about their advancement was that Raya only needed to do one more thing at that stage but humans will need to do two.

Was it unfair? Not really. Humans had advantages over beasts in some other areas so it was okay for beasts to also have their own advantages.

"Hehe. How does it feel to know that you're behind me in advancing again? Does it make you want to kiss feet and take me as your lord?" Raya taunted Muku who was currently busy with his cultivation in his room.

She was bored so she came to bother him.

As for why she wasn't advancing, she decided to wait until Mrs C shows up. Going from R6 to R7 felt more significant than all the other ranks up before it for whatever reason. So she wanted to share it with Mrs C, who was like a doting grandma to her.

"Get out of here brat. Go play somewhere else" Muku hissed.

"How dare you! I would have slapped you to death already if we weren't linked. I definitely made a mistake linking myself to such an ungrateful fellow like you. How can you treat your dragon goddess like this?" Raya spoke in an aggrieved manner.

"Brat! Just because the people you saved called you that doesn't make you a goddess okay?" Muku at the end of his patience with her.
