Raised From The Wild-Chapter 100: Playful
Marx looked at the crowd. He was getting worried. He pulled Amaya close to her. "Aya, we need to get out of her. It is getting dangerous." Marx’s voice was full of worry.
Before Amaya can answer, he pulled her toward the exit. Strata jumped and blocked the exit. She growled at Marx. Marx did not show any sign of fear at all. He understands Strata’s intent. She does not want Amaya to leave yet.
Khalil charged toward Amaya. Marx was caught off-guard. Before he can pull Amaya away, Khalil tossed Amaya into the air.
Amaya giggled. Before she fell to the ground, Strata’s mate positioned under her and she landed on the wolf as if the wolf was a horse.
Amaya was being tossed and caught, chased around. In the end, she was too tired that she lay on the ground with her hands above her hand. The four animals surrounded her.
From the crowd, it seemed as if the animals were going to pounce on her and eat her.
"Oh my god! She is going to be eaten." An old woman in her late fifties shouted with a trembling voice.
"Help! Where is security." A young man wearing a black hood turned around to look for the security team.
"No! I can’t look!" An old woman shouted as she closed her eyes to save herself from seeing a bloody scene.
"What a pity. The princess just came back and she will die at the hands of her so-called friends. They are still wild animals after all."
The father with a small daughter lifted her and wanted to put her down so she didn’t see the young woman being mauled. Wait! Did someone say that she is the First Princess of LIreya?
"Daddy, don’t put me down. I want to watch. They are just playing with her." The child sounded agitated because her father put her down and she cannot see the animals.
Her father was dumbfounded again. He had been shocked a few times today. He scanned the people around them and he was thankful that nobody passed out from a heart attack.
"Lola, are you sure that they are just playing? How did you know that?" The father was curious and asked her daughter.
"Look Daddy, the animals are not aggressive."
When they saw Amaya stand up, the crowd cheered.
"Look at that Daddy, the girl is fine. But her animals are sad because she is saying goodbye to them."
The man tapped at his daughter’s hand. Does she understand the animals?
"Lola, do you understand what the animals are saying?"
"What do you mean Daddy? I am just guessing. Maybe, if I spend more time with them then I will be able to understand.
Marx finally succeeded in pulling Amaya out of the enclosure. He heaved a sigh of relief when they were sitting down in the couch of one of the rest area.
Unknown to them, when Marx was holding Amaya’s hand as he pulled her out of the enclosure, a pair of gray eyes followed them until they were swallowed by the rest area.
Stephane watched the whole event. He was standing at the back and tried to minimize his presence. He was here to meet Dave but fortunately for him, e stumbled upon Amaya celebrating her birthday with animals.
"’Princess from the WIld’, what a fitting title for her. She is becoming more interesting."
He sent a message to Dave informing him that he was already in the zoo. Dave replied immediately.
"I am sorry Stephane. We have an ’incident’ and I will not be able to entertain you today. Can schedule another time?"
"Yes, please reschedule But can I go to your herbal garden right?"
"Okay. I have to go now. Call me if you need anything.
...
Meanwhile, the internet was in an uproar. Several people uploaded their videos and photos. Amaya hugged the headlines and the trending topics again.
’Princess of the Wild celebrated debut with wild animals!’
’Unbelievable! Animals can sing happy birthday!’
’Watch! The First Princess Mauled by Wild Animals!’
"Marx, what just happened? Why is the internet in an uproar?" Dave came to the lounge panting.
"What’s the matter, Dave?" Amaya asked. She doesn’t have any idea that her previous actions have caused a stir on the internet.
Amaya took out her cell phone and read the trending topics. She frowned when she read one particular trending topic. "Why are they saying that I was mauled by wild animals? I am just playing with them."
Dave was somewhere else earlier and did not see what happened. He watched some of the videos and looked at Amaya strangely. "So, when do we shoot that documentary?" Dave asked with excitement in his voice.
"We need to transfer the animals first to Verde Island. Then you can shoot your documentary there."
"When do you plan to transfer them?" Dave faced Marx and asked him. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
"This Saturday," Amaya answered on behalf of Marx. "You can help us deal with the transfer." Amaya grinned at her.
"That’s no big deal for as long as you do the shooting earlier too." Dave paused and was in conflict about whether to continue asking or not. Marx looked at him without saying anything.
"Eh, I have a question to ask you, Amaya. I hope you don’t mind."
Amaya nodded at him slightly to proceed.
"Did your pet really sing you a happy birthday song?"
Amaya could tell that Dave was hesitant. "Yes, they did. They kind of already know what to do because we have been doing that since I was seven. Animals are just like us. They have feelings too." Amaya said thinking deeply.
Marx looked at his watch. "It is time for us to go back." He looked at Amaya tenderly.
"I am afraid you need to put on a disguise when going out to protect yourself from people who wanted to harm you." Marx handed her a facial mask and a matching baseball cap.
Marx also wore a face mask and a baseball cap. Their cap has the same color and design. He advised his bodyguards and Amaya’s guard not to get too close to them so as not to attract attention. They can protect them from the shadows.
