Chapter 506: 8.23 - Elera’s decision - Monster Heist

Bing Shi thought about giving Victor a visit during his stay in the hospital. So here she was, knocking at the door of a VVIP ward. Pressing her ear against the door, she heard no sound, looking around, she saw no guards.

She wrote a short message on the piece of discharge paper, holding it as she entered the room: You have tendencies to enter my room as you please, so do not blame me if I decide to do the same today. Please.

As she looked up, she saw Victor standing by the bed, his lower body pressing against Elera’s back, covering her mouth to muffle her moans of pleasure, "..." She quickly turned around to close the door. Did the lock break? Who would keep their door open while engaging in devil’s tango? 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Victor met Silvia’s gaze and didn’t know what to think as he read the note she was holding, "..."

Bing Shi closed her eyes to await her death, but when nothing happened, she sneaked behind him like a ninja and tilted to the side to get a better view. Victor seemed to have recovered incredibly quickly, and she found herself wondering if he had been hiding his true strength all along.

Perhaps the Victor she had seen the day before was only a fraction of his full abilities, and the process of his recovery was just him, trying to reconstruct his body to overcome the limits of a mortal body in this world. It was just a guess.

"..." Victor bit his bottom lip. Was this woman explicitly asking for death again?!

Elera noticed another presence and wanted to turn around but Victor pressed her head against the bedsheet as hard as possible, muffling her moans of passion. Victor had never conducted such a dangerous aura, Elera could feel his manhood throbbing against her hip — and she loved it.

Bing Shi took a step forward, shrugging off his deadly stare that was soundlessly yelling at her to get out. Unfortunately for him, she was no longer Silvia to pee herself in fear. She got on her tiptoes, her lips reaching his cheek, "Ngh...I love you," she imitated his voice, "...Silvia...I love you..."

Bing Shi could see the shock in Victor’s eyes and the vein popping at the side of his temples. Grinning, she dashed out of the ward and closed the door behind her silently, her movements as quiet as a ghost’s.

Victor stared at the door long after Silvia left; then down at Elera. He leaned down to look at her, "Did you hear that?"

Elera’s eyebrows raised in surprise, "Hear what?" she asked, shivering at his touch.

He leaned in closer to her, his voice low and seductive. "Oh, just the sound of your heart beating," he whispered, his breath warm against her ear. A sense of relief washed over him as he made Elera scream in orgasm under his care.

Victor’s decision to keep Silvia alive was like walking on thin ice, each step precarious and uncertain. When she appeared, he was filled with a mixture of intrigue and terror that left him on edge.

The delicate balance between them left him feeling wary of his own behavior, afraid that a wrong action could come back to haunt him. Could anyone believe that he bowed down before her like a peasant when he was in a short coma? Because he couldn’t either.

The memory that lingered in his mind was of her bowing before him. It was the last thing he could remember before the dead soul in his mind sucked the life out of him and everything went dark.

Bing Shi felt her right leg shaking as if someone had just broke her bones. She clutched onto her cane for support as she moved past the chaos of the hospital staff and the urgency of the patients. Each tap of her echoed throughout the hallway, a constant reminder of her reliance on the cane.

The doctors were no exception when it came to giving her strange looks. It began when they found out about her ’dark’ past. They would make snide remarks whenever she came for check-ups or appointments.

It was as if she had been transported back in time to an ancient era when people were treated like livestock. Alright, maybe not to such a degree. It was just the amount of times someone tried to steal her eggs and make her do nasty things with them was beyond appalling.

Did everyone forget that Silvia LeClére held first place in St. Moon Academy for a period of time?

As Bing Shi made her way out of the hospital, a man approached her from behind. Before he could brandish his knife, he felt a sharp pain in his leg and fell to the ground. He remained unmoving in the same position, looking like a beggar asking for money.

Bing Shi wiped the blood at the end of her cane over his clothes and sent Alain a message with her coordinates. She continued on her way to hail a taxi. Thank goodness for Alain’s connections. If not for his parents warning their circle, the hospital would have been surrounded by a mountain of corpses, and she would have probably ended up in prison.

’Besides Victor, nobody tried to blackmail me yet, and nobody revealed my latest feats either...’

Bing Shi tilted her head to her right, then to her left.

’Could it mean that I’m flying under the radar and my security measures are working? Or...’

Her mind raced with scenarios of potential threats and countermeasures. As she walked down the street, her cane made a steady tapping sound on the pavement, keeping pace with her thoughts.

’Perhaps I haven’t attracted the attention of any powerful enemies of Riley’s caliber yet, or maybe they’re biding their time before making their move.’

Bing Shi nodded her head, satisfied with her analysis.

Electricity buzzed within Elera’s veins as she quickly put on her clothes, "I want to open our relationship." Their relationship was purely physical. It was just sex. It was just fun. Nothing was permanent, and she felt herself rolling with the situation.

"And why exactly do you want that?" Victor asked, his voice husky and sensual as he sat up on the bed.

Elera was a strong woman who knew what she wanted, "It would be nice to have variety."

His fingers traced along the edge of her chin, stroking the side of her neck, "Do you mean you’d like me to fuck other women?" he murmured, his hands sliding up into her hair and holding it loosely at the base of her skull, "It’s the opposite of what you wanted from me in the beginning."

She turned to look into his eyes, "That was then, this is now. I don’t want to be tied down by only you anymore. We are just fuck buddies, so let’s leave it at that."

"Fine..." he said quietly, stepping away from her. He didn’t really know how to react, "What if we go out for dinner?" he asked, trying to change the subject.

The mention of food brought some life back into Elera. She stood up straight and began to walk towards the door before turning around and giving Victor a smile, "Dinner sounds good."

"Good...," he muttered, chuckling as he watched her ass sway and her legs shake from their earlier activity as she walked towards the front door, leaving him behind on his own.

╔═══ Author’s note ════╗

IMPORTANT:

Throughout the story, Bing Shi always harbored a sense of paranoia due to the unknown individuals who posed a potential threat to her and her husband.

She used to be careful about every detail. However, as the story progresses, she grows increasingly indifferent to the warnings that once plagued her mind (her monkeys).

Because she can no longer die, her behavior is becoming exceedingly risky, provocative, and harmful. After all, she became a god soul against her will.

In an attempt to lift her spirits, she embarks on this seemingly "funny" adventure, yet somewhere between the lines, she yearns to merge with the universe and abandon her humanity.

The only thing that is holding her back from complete detachment is her husband’s immense sacrifice for her and Victor continuously feeding the last fragment of her dead soul.

It represents the last tangible connection to her past and the person she once was. She wants to free it and let at least a part of the real her rest in peace.

Without the continual nourishment provided by Victor, the dead soul would gradually merge with the vast cosmic forces. Its presence would eventually perish, leaving behind no trace of its existence.
