He soared through the sky; the wind rushing past him as he flew above the vast expanse of the Demon Empire. His powerful wings beat steadily, carrying him effortlessly through the air.

In his arms, Veladra clung to him, her white hair whipping in the wind, her eyes wide with a mix of awe and excitement. The landscape below was a blur of dark mountains and sprawling forests, the empire sprawling beneath them like a shadowed kingdom.

Leo smirked, flying steadily toward it, his wings cutting through the air with precision. ’’Looks like we have a destination,’’ he said, the excitement building in his chest.

As they drew closer, the scale of the city became even more apparent. The walls were massive, dotted with guarded towers, and the streets below bustled with activity even from the sky.

Veladra couldn’t help but stare in wonder. ’’It’s even bigger than I remember,’’ she murmured, her grip on him tightening.

Leo sped up and started descending when they came close, but that’s when a dozen blasts flew in his direction. Reacting quickly, he cast Mana Barrier that blocked the sudden attack, which caused the shield to shake.
