Chapter 245: Chapter 239: A Rich and Dumb Fat Sheep

Aurora Sinclair stood by the table, watching the two men intently as they compared dice rolls.

Each held a dice cup, shaking it nonstop before slamming it down on the table.

Alvin Morgan asked, "Want to play?"

Aurora Sinclair shook her head, turned to walk away, and said softly, "He’s cheating."

The man beside her stopped in his tracks. Aurora Sinclair looked up at him, meeting a gaze filled with amusement and curiosity. "You know about this stuff too?"

A flicker of annoyance seemed to cross Aurora Sinclair’s eyes. "My master used to play with dice."

"Is that so..." Alvin Morgan smiled and reached out to pat her head.

Just then, a rich, magnetic voice called out from behind them.

"Distinguished guests, care to play a couple of rounds?"

Aurora Sinclair turned and saw a man in a patterned suit, a cigar clamped between his teeth, watching them. He was flanked by several beautiful blonde women.

Two of the blondes started to approach Alvin Morgan, but they were blocked by Beta Morgan and Silas Morgan.

"Lord Terry." Mukelin Cole’s eyes lit up as he stepped forward to make introductions.

Alvin Morgan glanced at him and said coolly, "A couple of rounds, then."

Terry and Mukelin Cole exchanged a swift look.

He then enthusiastically invited them all to the VIP area on the second floor.

This area was mainly for card games, and each private room was luxuriously appointed.

Suddenly, a scream like a stuck pig came from a private room down the hall. A man came tumbling and crawling out, pursued by a number of shapely blonde women.

They were vicious, and upon catching the man, they were about to pull out their knives.

"Lisa..." Terry’s voice held a trace of anger, clearly displeased with their current behavior.

Lisa froze, quickly put away her knife, and, with the other women, dragged the man back into the room they’d come from.

Terry explained with a smile, "A small interruption. I hope our distinguished guests don’t mind."

Alvin Morgan gave a slight nod.

He led them to a relatively large private room with a very comfortable atmosphere, a large, round stone table surrounded by several leather sofas.

Four or five people were already seated inside, and a blonde woman in the center was dealing cards.

Except for the blonde dealer, everyone was wearing a mask, obscuring their faces. However, judging from their attire and accessories, one could basically guess that they were all either rich or noble.

They all knew Terry. Some greeted him directly, while others threw down their cards and offered their seats.

"Add two seats."

Two beautiful blondes immediately pulled out chairs for Alvin Morgan and Mukelin Cole.

Alvin Morgan led Aurora Sinclair over.

Seeing this, one of the blondes brought another chair for Aurora Sinclair.

Stud poker is a classic card game that heavily tests one’s guts and luck.

After one round, Alvin Morgan’s and Mukelin Cole’s chips rose up from the edge of the table.

In the first round, Alvin Morgan’s luck was good, and he won a clean sweep.

"Sir, the gods are smiling upon you today," Mukelin Cole praised from the side.

Alvin Morgan just smiled without a word and continued to look at his cards.

In the next few hands, Alvin Morgan’s luck wasn’t as good; he basically just broke even.

Terry saw that Alvin Morgan was a calculating player. The light in his eyes dimmed slightly, and after he coughed twice, the blonde dealer’s hands started to get tricky.

Suddenly, Aurora Sinclair flicked one of the cards in front of Alvin Morgan, sending it flying toward the blonde dealer’s fingers.

The impact shocked the woman, causing the cards in her hand to scatter.

Everyone in the room was stunned, their gazes turning grimly toward Aurora Sinclair and the blonde dealer.

Alvin Morgan calmly set down his cards. "Well, this is no fun."

As soon as he said that, two of the other guests’ expressions soured. They slammed their cards on the table and angrily demanded an explanation from Terry.

Terry’s face changed instantly, and he looked grimly at Alvin Morgan and Aurora Sinclair.

"Sir, what is the meaning of this?"

Alvin Morgan glanced at Aurora Sinclair.

She vaulted over the table with incredible speed, landed beside the blonde dealer, and pulled several cards from her clothes.

Terry’s expression sank to rock bottom. A vicious glint flashed in his eyes as he barked an order.

Several blondes immediately rushed forward, slammed the dealer onto the table, and prepared to chop off her fingers.

The woman begged and screamed frantically, but to no avail. Her mouth was gagged.

"Terry, we have no desire to watch this," the two guests said, their faces full of anger.

Terry waved his hand, and the women dragged her out of the room.

To compensate everyone, he gave each person ten million in free chips and brought in a new dealer.

"Someone, set up a table for this beautiful young lady." Terry’s gaze was fixed on Aurora Sinclair.

Alvin Morgan translated for her, but she just shook her head.

"Miss, once you’re in here, everyone has to play. Surely you’re not ignorant of the rules here, are you?"

The blonde women in the room all drew guns from their outer thighs, their intent to intimidate perfectly clear.

Just as Aurora Sinclair was about to make a move, she heard Alvin Morgan say with a smile, "Aurora, you can play for me."

***

Aurora Sinclair sat in Alvin Morgan’s chair, her eyes fixed on the dealer in the center.

She didn’t even look at her own cards or her opponents’. When others bet, she bet.

The very picture of a Whitlock.

The people at the table were secretly delighted. A rich, foolish lamb had come to the slaughter.

In the first round, Aurora Sinclair lost half of the chips on the table.

Unconcerned, Alvin Morgan fed her a piece of fruit and waved his hand to add another ten million.

Losing three hands in a row made the others at the table ecstatic, and their bets grew larger and larger.

"Raise by three times." Mukelin Cole pushed all fifty million of his chips forward.

His hand was really good this time.

As before, Aurora Sinclair calmly pushed all her chips in to call the bet.

Mukelin Cole glanced at Terry beside him, unable to hide the delight in his eyes.

"Four of a kind, a bomb! HAHAHA... My apologies, sir, but your chips are all mine."

He glanced at Aurora Sinclair’s four spades and laughed smugly.

Because her hole card couldn’t possibly be a spade.

The blonde dealer had already dealt the card she needed to Terry.

But Aurora Sinclair slowly peeked at her hole card, then unhurriedly turned it over.

"Ace. Straight flush."

The smile on Mukelin Cole’s face instantly twisted into terror. He shot to his feet, roaring, "Impossible! You cheated! You were clearly..."

Alvin Morgan asked, "Clearly what?"

The other guests’ faces all changed, and they glared at him with unfriendly eyes.

Because Aurora Sinclair hadn’t touched the cards from start to finish. Her fingers had only rested on the table, tapping it from time to time.

Terry immediately flipped over his hole card. It was the three of clubs.

Furious, he immediately glared at the blonde dealer.

At that moment, terror filled her eyes. She had clearly dealt Lord Terry a spade, so why had it turned into a club?

Alvin Morgan chuckled. "It seems we’ve won."

The other players at the table stood up, their faces ashen, and left with their people.

Only Terry, a devastated Mukelin Cole, and Alvin Morgan’s perfectly composed group remained.

A vicious glint flashed in Terry’s eyes. He gritted his teeth and said, "Cole, you now owe me five hundred million."

"No... no... Lord Terry, I didn’t..."

"Men, tie him up."

Mukelin Cole was bound, gagged, and dragged away.

Aurora Sinclair subtly moved to stand in front of Alvin Morgan, calmly pointing at her chip card and saying, "Payout."

Terry glared at Aurora Sinclair with a dark expression for a moment before waving his hand. A blonde woman immediately stepped forward and loaded one billion onto Aurora Sinclair’s card.

Besides being the owner of the gambling hall, he was also the infamous "Tycoon Killer" of Aurumport.

Countless tycoons who came to Aurumport had fallen at his hands.

This time, he had planned to run his usual scheme and swindle the foreign super-tycoon, Alvin Morgan. He never expected his first move to be seen through by this young woman, nearly ruining his own reputation in the process.

And now, he had even lost five hundred million of his own money.

Adding in the other guests’ chips, this girl had somehow managed to net a profit of one billion in his territory?

Terry asked grimly, "Little girl, do you dare to try the stone gambling area?"
