Chapter 282: Anderson Ancestor

"Doesn’t my intensity satisfy you?" Richard replied, unable to stop caressing her body even though his desire had already calmed.

The Red Star Empress was powerless to respond—because it was the truth.

Richard hugged her tighter and said, "Come on, darling... it’s time to sleep..."

He kissed her cheek before resting her beautiful face against his chest.

The Red Star Empress was far too exhausted to react to the way he addressed her. She fell asleep, forgetting the burdens of her work as prime minister.

The next morning, Richard opened his eyes, feeling a soft weight resting on top of him.

He glanced down, only to find that the Red Star Empress was still fast asleep, her face buried against his neck.

It seemed she had truly been exhausted all this time and needed the rest.

Lilith was also unreasonable, asking the Red Star Empress to continue working like this.

Richard remained lying down so the woman could keep sleeping. He gazed toward the window, watching countless people flying back and forth in the distance.

After some time, the Red Star Empress finally woke up, looking confused at her surroundings, as if her memories were slowly returning.

Then, realizing she was naked on top of a young man, she instantly blushed.

"Darling..." Richard teased her with just that one word, his hand brushing along her slender waist.

"Today, there’s no need to work. Stay here and have fun," he said.

The Red Star Empress hesitated upon hearing that. After all, there was always a mountain of work waiting for her every day. If she didn’t go to the prime minister’s office, the officials would surely grow restless.

But she was tempted by Richard’s words.

Fun. The pleasure from last night made her want it again.

In the end, she nodded without saying anything.

So what if the officials grew uneasy? The Red Star Empress was certain they wouldn’t dare come here to disturb her.

Richard smiled at her response.

"Let’s go to the bathroom first," he said, standing up while carrying her in his arms.

That day, the room became entirely a place of indulgence for the two of them.

They lost themselves in pleasure, exploring each other freely, immersed in waves of sensation as they moved together again and again.

DING!

(You have gained 2% affinity with the Diamond Element!)

(Your affinity with the Diamond Element has increased from 2% to 7%!) 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

[Element Affinity:

(Fire: 93%)

(Lightning: 93%)

(Wave: 93%)

(Void: 90%)

(Wind: 90%)

(Diamond: 7%)]

The notification left Richard stunned.

Finally, the System had granted him additional affinity.

He couldn’t even remember the last time that happened. Perhaps it was because he now possessed fewer affinities.

Diamond—naturally, it was something intriguing, an element designed to withstand all kinds of attacks without breaking.

Richard stayed at the Red Star Empress’s house until the afternoon.

After that, he went to visit an old friend—William Anderson, who was currently at his shop.

The man was utterly shocked when he saw Richard’s arrival.

As a high-level wind user, he could sense that Richard’s wind was far purer than before.

"So, can I obtain the Supreme Wind Soul now?" Richard asked.

"Yes, you should be able to..." William Anderson nodded.

"But there’s a slight problem," he added.

"A problem?" Richard frowned.

"The Order of Heaven Emperor also wants it—for the Dark Abyss Young Master. He still hasn’t gained affinity with the Wind Element and is working toward it. You know how they are... they can be quite forceful, and my clan is having difficulty dealing with them."

At that moment, Richard finally understood why the Sword Master had tried to steal the Heavenly Wind Spirit from the Ice Ancestor.

It turned out the goal was the same.

From William’s perspective, it was indeed difficult to refuse such a request. And naturally, they could offer a high price.

The problem was—if they refused, who knew what would happen?

Robbery was certain, and annihilation was also possible. Even though the Anderson Clan was not ordinary—founded by a Grand Sovereign—it had declined greatly over time.

If Richard wanted to obtain the Supreme Wind Soul, he would have to ensure the Anderson Clan’s safety.

"Boy, come with us to our clan and hand the Supreme Wind Soul to Richard..." Suddenly, another voice spoke.

Richard and William were both stunned as a white crow suddenly appeared beside them.

"White Ancestor," Richard said instinctively.

What shocked him even more was that the White Ancestor had come in his true body, not just a manifestation.

"White Ancestor... are you the guardian of the Skylight Clan?" William asked in disbelief after hearing Richard’s words.

"That’s right... now you choose—submit to the Order of Heaven Emperor, or come with us to the Skylight Clan," the White Ancestor replied.

At that moment, William finally realized Richard’s true identity.

He nodded and said, "From the beginning, I intended to give it to Richard. Let’s go to my clan first. I hope you can bring us to the Skylight Clan afterward."

"Of course..."

"Let’s go, boy..." the White Ancestor said, patting Richard’s shoulder with his wing.

Richard followed William.

They left the capital and headed toward a mountain range.

On one of the mountains, there was a village that William led them to—quite lively in the late afternoon.

Most of its residents were children who had already begun learning magic at a young age.

When they saw William arriving with strangers, they looked at them curiously but couldn’t approach, as they were in the air.

William headed toward a large house in the center of the village, with four tightly closed doors.

"Ancestor!" William knocked on one of the doors.

It opened shortly after, revealing an old man who looked as though he was on the verge of death. Even standing required a cane.

"William..." The old man looked confused upon seeing him, then shifted his gaze to Richard and the White Ancestor.

"Ancestor, this is Richard, and this is the White Ancestor, guardian of the Skylight Clan," William introduced them.

Richard’s identity didn’t seem to shock him much—but when he heard about the White Ancestor, he staggered and nearly fell from sheer surprise.

After all, this was a peak-level existence—why would he come to their clan?

"Hahaha, I know you—the genius who once competed with the Immortal Sword Grand Sovereign. You had remarkable talent. Unfortunately, you faced one of the strongest Grand Sovereigns. But why are you so weak now? Did you burn your power just to survive?" the White Ancestor suddenly said, revealing the old man’s past, shocking him even further.

The Immortal Sword Grand Sovereign was one of the Grand Sovereigns—and among them, one of the strongest, ranked within the top five overall.

Talents like the Dark Abyss Young Master or Sean Thundervale would stand no chance before her.

The old man had undergone many transformations in his life. He had once been extremely powerful as a Peak Ruler—even stronger than the Demon Flame Grand Sovereign after leaving the Sea River—yet he was still utterly defeated.

"I am just a dying old man now. Those things are not worth mentioning," he said in a low voice.

"Such a pity. It seems your injuries back then were too severe after taking a slash from the Immortal Sword Grand Sovereign, forcing you to burn your power just to survive."

"Ehem..." William cleared his throat, knowing his ancestor was uncomfortable having his past brought up.

"Ancestor, Richard is from the Skylight Clan. The White Ancestor has promised to protect our clan if we give him the Supreme Wind Soul," he said.
