Villainess X Villain: They are obsessed with each other!-Chapter 90 -: 89 Even if the world is empty, I can fill the wolrd for you.[2]
The white horse cart rolled closer, shining brightly under the morning sun.
Two beautiful white horses pulled it, each one decorated with sparkling jewelry around their necks and heads.
Golden patterns covered the cart, making it look fancy and almost magical.
Rosalina stared at it with her mouth slightly open.
"What... is this?" she muttered.
The cart slowed down and stopped right in front of her.
"Julius...?" Her eyes went wide. "Why are you pulling the reins?"
Julius jumped down from the driver’s seat with a soft thud.
He looked handsome in a sharp black tuxedo.
His hair was neatly combed, the kind of style moms usually like, but somehow it suited him perfectly.
He stepped forward and held out his hand like a true gentleman.
"May I?" he asked with a warm smile.
Rosalina hesitated for a second, her cheeks already feeling hot.
"Y-yeah..." she said softly and placed her hand in his.
Julius gently helped her step into the beautiful white cart and closed the door behind her.
"Hey, what’s going on?" Rosalina asked, her brows pulling together in confusion.
She looked out through the glass window.
"Where did all the people go? Did you do something to the city?"
Julius just smiled at her without saying a word.
He walked back to the driver’s seat, took the reins in his hands, and gave them a light whip.
The horses neighed softly and started moving again at a steady pace.
"Oi! I’m asking you a question!" Rosalina poked her head out of the small window that connected to the driver’s seat.
Julius turned his head, looked at her, and gave her another bright smile. Still no answer.
"Tsk!" Rosalina pulled her head back inside and dropped onto the soft seat.
She crossed her arms tightly and puffed out her cheeks. "Fine! Do whatever you want!"
Her face was already turning red, whether from anger or shyness, even she wasn’t sure.
Rosalina sat with her cheeks still puffed out, staring out the window.
No matter where she looked, the streets were completely empty.
Not a single person anywhere.
Her curiosity grew stronger and stronger. Finally, she couldn’t hold it in anymore.
She poked her head out of the window again.
"Tell me already! What’s going on?!" She snapped.
Even with her angry pout and flustered face, she looked incredibly adorable.
Julius turned his head and smiled gently.
"Relax, my beautiful princess. Let your knight make this day memorable for you."
He looked forward again and guided the cart in a new direction.
Even on the new road, there was still no one around.
Rosalina’s curiosity was burning now.
She knew this had to be Julius’s doing, but she couldn’t figure out how. ’How did he empty the whole city?’
After a short ride, the cart finally stopped.
Julius jumped down and walked over to the door.
He opened it gently and held out his hand.
"At least tell me how you got rid of all the people," Rosalina said as she took his hand and stepped out.
"You didn’t... kill them all, right?"
Julius chuckled softly. "Do you think I’m crazy?"
Rosalina’s frown grew deeper. ’You kind of are...’ she thought.
They had stopped right in front of the biggest and most luxurious restaurant in the city.
It looked fancy and expensive, but just as she expected, the whole place was empty. Not even the staff was there.
Julius took her hand and gently led her inside the grand hall and then into the most beautiful private room.
The room was stunning, everything was made of glass.
When Rosalina looked around, she could see nothing but the open sky and distant trees.
They were on the highest floor, so no other buildings blocked the view.
"Ah..." she whispered, amazed. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Julius pulled out a chair for her. "What would you like to eat, princess?"
Rosalina looked back at him. ’I was supposed to act cold and rude today...’
Her lips pouted. ’But how do I even start?’
Her cheeks puffed out again. ’No, I must act rudely. If I don’t, my confession won’t go the way I imagined...’
"Hmph! Whatever," she said, turning her head away in what she thought was a rude manner.
To Julius, though, it just looked incredibly cute.
He chuckled softly and walked out of the room.
The moment he left, Rosalina quickly turned around. She tiptoed to the door and tried to peek through the keyhole.
’What is he up to?’ she thought, pressing her eye closer. But all she could see was another door.
Step... step... step... step...
Soon she heard Julius’s footsteps coming back.
Rosalina hurried back to her seat and sat down quickly, turning her gaze to the side with a pout.
Julius pushed the door open with his leg.
In his hands was a big tray full of food, with warm steam rising from it.
Rosalina peeked at it from the corner of her eye. Everything on the tray looked super delicious.
The smell was so good it made her mouth water.
She couldn’t help but ask, "You cooked all this?"
"Yeah," Julius nodded with a smile. He placed the tray on the table, served her a clean plate, and handed her a fork and spoon.
He then put some food on her plate and sat down right across from her.
"Go on, eat," he said gently, encouraging her.
He served himself a plate too and started cutting some meat.
Rosalina stared at him, her brows slightly pulled together. ’What is he trying to pull...?’ she thought.
She cut a small piece of meat, put it in her mouth... and the moment she did, it melted like butter.
’So good!’ she thought, holding her cheeks happily.
Just then, Julius spoke.
"You’re wondering why the city is empty and no one is around, right?"
He asked while cutting another piece of meat and popping it into his mouth.
Rosalina paused and looked at him.
"Y-yeah..." she stammered a little. "What are you trying to pull...?"
"Nothing," Julius said with a soft chuckle.
He leaned forward, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Just one simple fact."
Rosalina looked into his eyes. She had completely forgotten about acting rude.
Right now, she was totally lost in his gaze.
"Even if the world is empty..." he said softly, reaching out his hand and gently touching her cheek.
Rosalina didn’t pull away. She just stared at him in a daze.
"I can fill the world for you."
