No matter who it was, he could no longer forgive.
"I will leave." Titus Quinn’s face was filled with despondency as he rose and walked out of the Quinn Family, severing all ties he had here.
"Titus," Mrs. Quinn shouted hoarsely, "you can take revenge on me, but can you not leave?"
The feeling of her son’s disappointment was something only she truly understood.
Titus Quinn didn’t want to look back anymore; he no longer wished to see the dirty side of the Quinn Family!
"Jared," Mrs. Quinn could only shift her focus to Jared Quinn, "do you not believe me either?"
"Everyone, go back to rest. Everything that happened today is not to be spread around," Jared Quinn ordered coldly as he continued walking upstairs.
In the hall, only Melody Thorne, Leon Rivers, and others remained.
"Let’s all go back," Melody Thorne said absentmindedly as she too went upstairs.
Mrs. Quinn had originally thought of a plethora of excuses and words to shirk off past affairs, intending to lay all the blame on others, so she could wash away her previous sins.
But, no one wanted to hear her explanations.
Jared Quinn went to the study, while Melody Thorne stayed in the bedroom, occasionally glancing at the door, but no one came in.
Irritated, Melody Thorne lay down to sleep.
In the study, Jared Quinn kept staring at the video intercepted by the butler; the Quinn Family’s bathhouse used to have surveillance until he, believing it was Ivy who saved him, had it removed after his fainting incident.
On the computer, the scene of Melody Thorne saving him played repeatedly, with blood continuously flowing from her shoulder.
Even when her face turned pale from pain, she kept saving him.
Then Ivy arrived; after exchanging a few words, Melody Thorne hurriedly left, while Ivy maliciously injured herself, so she was the first thing he saw!
The ceramic cup in his large hand was nearly crushed; Jared Quinn closed his eyes, finding it hard to forgive himself.
He couldn’t bring himself to forgive himself.
Bedroom.

He kissed her forehead, then took her phone with his large hand and dialed a number.
"What else do you know?"
"Meet up?" Caleb’s voice came through.

In the living room, Melody Thorne sat on the sofa staring at the outside of the Quinn Family door; since coming back last night, Jared Quinn hadn’t uttered a word and now had disappeared to who knows where.
"Ma’am, should I have the driver take you to the young master’s company? I assume the young master will be quite busy these days; with the second young master’s abrupt departure, there’s a lot of mess to clean up, and I guess the company is in chaos right now," the butler suggested, standing by.
What Melody Thorne was concerned about was not that; she was only wondering why Jared Quinn hadn’t said a word, why he hadn’t stayed in the bedroom last night?
Was it because he felt guilty towards her?
She was no longer concerned, so why was he still bothered? So much time had passed.
"I don’t want to go find him!"
The butler thought, "..." Is this another silent treatment?

Two days later, Melody Thorne received a call from Nina King, who had successfully skyrocketed from a new actress to a lead in a hundred-million box-office film; in the future, she would be overwhelmed with film and TV offers, and she was also the recipient of the most promising newcomer award.
The day after tomorrow, there would be an award ceremony, and everything from dresses to preparations was already arranged, encouraging her to get ready as well.
