My Accidental Harem-Chapter 189
Chapter 189: Chapter 189
Mike continued his story. Zoey unexpectedly let him take her home and even invited him inside. He met Zoey’s mom, Daisy, who asked him a bunch of personal questions and seemed quite satisfied with him.
"You should have seen it. She’s so kind, beautiful, and gentle. She was so enthusiastic she almost made me stay for dinner," Mike said proudly. He felt that gaining Zoey’s mom’s approval was even more surprising than Zoey accepting him.
Kevin was surprised by Mike’s progress. However, he thought Daisy’s hospitality might just be her being polite. What puzzled him was Zoey inviting Mike home. Could Mike’s persistence have really moved Zoey? Was Zoey really such a shallow girl?
Thinking about Daisy in his dream, wearing that seductive outfit and her attractive body, Kevin couldn’t help but fantasize. If Mike really dated Zoey, Daisy would become his future mother-in-law. Mike would face two beautiful, sexy women. Kevin didn’t know whether to envy or pity him.
He wondered if it would be paradise or hell, depending on how Mike viewed it.
"Mia is here," Mike suddenly murmured.
"Come on, it’s morning. What nonsense are you talking about?" Kevin shrugged and shook his head. This guy was insatiable: he had just made progress with Zoey and now he was shifting his attention to Mia.
"No, seriously. Mia Wilson... she’s really here." Mike’s eyes widened in disbelief, pointing behind Kevin and stammering.
Kevin turned around and indeed saw Mia. She was wearing a plaid shirt tucked into tight jeans, with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows, revealing her white arms. Her glossy black hair was tied into a ponytail, hanging down her back, and she wore white sneakers.
Mia stood under a nearby tree, her hands casually in her pockets, looking radiant and youthful, like a recent college graduate. When she saw Kevin turn to look at her, she gave him a sweet smile.
In fact, Mia had only graduated from college a little over four years ago, which made her about ten years older than Kevin. She looked young, and if they stood together, no one would doubt they were cousins.
Kevin felt a flip in his stomach when he saw his teacher’s youthful and radiant beauty. He was used to seeing Mia in revealing, sexy outfits, but seeing her dressed so pure and sunny made his heart skip a beat. Even though Mia’s shirt covered her ample chest, the full, rounded shape was still eye-catching. Her tight jeans highlighted her firm, round butt and long, straight legs, showing off her tall and sexy figure.
Mike Adams couldn’t help but gulp at the sight of Mia’s exaggerated curves. He hadn’t expected such a beautiful view so early in the morning. Remembering her mysterious words from yesterday’s class break, he stepped forward and said, "Good morning, Mia Wilson. Do you need anything? Are you looking for Mrs. Cortez?"
Mike secretly hoped Mia was there for him, but he knew it was just wishful thinking. Why would someone like Mia be interested in an ordinary student like him?
Mia didn’t recognize Mike, but seeing him chatting with Kevin, she smiled slightly and said, "I’m not looking for Mrs. Cortez. I’m here for him." She pointed a slender finger at Kevin.
Mike was stunned, staring dumbfounded at his friend. Why would Mia be looking for Kevin?
Kevin was also puzzled as to why Mia would come looking for him so early in the morning. He thought, "Wouldn’t this reveal our relationship?" He stammered, "Mia Wilson, what can I do for you?"
"Alright, no need to be so formal." Mia said with a playful smile. "I’m your cousin, remember?"
Cousin? Mike was even more confused. Was Mia talking about Kevin? He’d known Kevin for a long time and had never heard anything about Mia being his cousin.
Mia then turned to Mike and asked, "What’s your name?"
"I’m Mike Adams, Mia Wilson," Mike stammered.
"Oh, I see. Kevin and I are cousins. I just found out." Mia said with a smile. "Kevin’s mom asked me to look after him at school, but I’m busy with classes. Since you’re his friend, could you keep an eye on him for me? If he misbehaves or doesn’t focus on his studies, come to my office and let me know so I can handle it."
"Don’t worry, Mia Wilson. I’ll make sure to keep an eye on him," Mike said eagerly, puffing out his chest. "Leave him to me." He then looked at Kevin triumphantly.
Kevin felt a bit frustrated. He had planned to keep his relationship with Mia a secret, but she had just effectively placed a spy right next to him. Mike looked eager to report any misbehavior to Mia.
"Alright, it’s getting late. You should head back to class. I’m leaving," Mia said, glancing at Kevin. She knew he wasn’t happy, but that was her intention. She had thought about it all day yesterday and decided that they couldn’t continue their secret relationship.
Keeping things secret could easily lead Kevin to have unrealistic expectations, and it would be hard for her to maintain proper boundaries. Plus, if someone else, especially Camila, found out, she wouldn’t be able to explain. So, she decided to formalize their relationship. This way, they could interact openly without raising suspicion, and it would also serve as a psychological check on Kevin. "Goodbye, Kevin."
"Goodbye, Mia Wilson." As Mia turned to leave, Kevin and Mike exchanged hostile glances. Kevin said fiercely, "If you dare report to Mia, you’ll regret it."
"Ha, you can’t scare me," Mike retorted dismissively. "Just try, and I’ll go straight to Mia Wilson. You’d better be nice to me, or you won’t get away with it."
Seeing Mike’s smug expression, Kevin felt even more annoyed. He couldn’t resist kicking Mike’s butt. Mike, not expecting Kevin to actually hit him, yelped and ran into the classroom, clutching his butt. He wouldn’t report such a small matter to Mia after knowing that Kevin was her cousin.
Kevin chased after him, ready to teach his friend a lesson, but Zoey Jackson stood up, frowning, and said, "Kevin, have you had enough? Why are you bullying Mike?"
Both of them were stunned. They hadn’t expected Zoey to scold Kevin. Mike quickly explained, grinning, "Zoey, it’s not like that. Kevin and I were just messing around. We’re not fighting."
"Don’t make excuses for him," Zoey said sternly, still glaring at Kevin. "Class is about to start. How can you be so rowdy in the classroom? If this happens again, I’ll report you to Mrs. Cortez." She then sat down angrily, ignoring Kevin.
Kevin felt embarrassed as he slunk back to his seat. He figured he must have offended Zoey yesterday, and now she was picking on him.
