Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!-Chapter 202: Thirsting for Water
Seraphina glanced at the members, stood up, and walked to the water dispenser in the conference room.
Ethan Sterling never directly crossed her line, but would always tug at these trivial matters.
If she didn’t act, Ethan might do more things to embarrass her.
Resignedly, Seraphina poured a glass of water for Ethan, then returned to her seat and handed the glass to him.
Everyone was dumbfounded; this was too indulgent.
Just now she was criticizing people, and in the next moment, she was fetching water for her boyfriend.
Seraphina sat back in her seat and said, "Let’s not do unrelated things during the meeting. I broke the rules by bringing people in today, so I need to write a reflection, and the two of you speaking privately during the meeting need to write one too."
She was referring to Rory and Claire Ford.
No rules, and how could The Defiance Society stand firm?
The two didn’t dare to speak after being reprimanded, they just nodded quickly, "Okay, okay, we’ll definitely reflect seriously."
Ronan Yates looked at Ethan, still sprawled where he was, angry steam almost coming out of his head.
Is Seraphina crazy? How could she write a reflection for a gigolo?
"The Defiance Society is yours, and you still have to write a reflection?" Ethan sat up, eyes fixed on Seraphina, resting his head on one hand, seemingly unhappy, spinning the glass without any intention of drinking.
It’s because of you!
Ronan wanted to say something but heard him ask, "When will the meeting end?"
Ethan didn’t like hard tables, just wanted to go back to Hibiscus Garden and cuddle with the warm and soft Seraphina to sleep.
Seraphina glanced at the documents in front of her and said lightly, "Almost done."
Seraphina, you’re still dealing with him!
Ronan was almost furious.
Seraphina continued to discuss the meeting content, and after covering all the documents, the meeting finally ended, "Recently, you might have some interviews, decide what you want to say yourselves, and don’t say anything strange that can be used against you."
"Got it."
Everyone nodded.
"Alright, that’s all for today, you can go back to class. I still won’t be coming to school these days, if anything comes up, find Ronan."
Seraphina spoke.
"Another leave?"
Ronan was almost depressed, turned to look at Beatrice Fawcett.
What’s going on, is Seraphina bewitched by this gigolo?
After the meeting ended, the members left one by one. The more Ronan thought about it, the more upset he became, and after the other members left, he pulled Beatrice to listen in at the door.
Unable to hear anything, Ronan simply pushed the door open slightly to peek inside.
Seraphina was tidying the documents, standing in front of Ethan and asking, "Why did you suddenly speak up just now?"
Ethan suddenly interrupted her speaking earlier, making it hard for her to assert her authority as president.
"Just wanted some water."
Ethan sat in his seat, raising an eyebrow at Seraphina.
He just wanted everyone to see that Seraphina treated him differently, not only was she not fierce to him, but Seraphina would go along with whatever he did.
He was special to her.
"Didn’t you want water? Why didn’t you drink?"
Seraphina looked at the glass in Ethan’s hand, not a sip had been taken.
"I want grapes."
Ethan looked at the plates of fruit on the table in the meeting room, all sorts bought by Ronan, nobody had time to eat during the meeting.
Ethan’s gaze fixed on the fruit in front of Seraphina.
Seraphina placed the fruit plate in front of him.
Ethan stared at her and then lifted his injured arm.
Ethan had done this gesture countless times the past two days. Seraphina already knew what this gesture meant.
I’m injured, got hurt saving you.
Seraphina had no choice but to pick up the grapes.
Ronan and Beatrice stood by the door, peering inside through the crack.
Seraphina stood in front of this gigolo, blocking the man’s face, seemingly feeding him fruit.
Before long, Seraphina picked up napkins to catch something.
It was the skin!
Grape skin!
Ronan was livid, Beatrice pulled him aside.
After walking away, Ronan’s eyes were red with anger, "Damn it, what’s with this gigolo? Being supported by Seraphina and still daring to boss her around, who does he think he is? The owner of some big conglomerate like Ethan Sterling?"
Is he crazy?
Seraphina is such an incredible person.
How does a gigolo dare to act like this?
Beatrice stood beside him, watching his agitation with a worried frown, "Seraphina really seems a bit off, skipping classes for so many days now. Would she actually abandon The Defiance Society?"
She was a bit scared.
"Impossible, Seraphina is someone with big ambitions, it’s impossible for her to be held back by a gigolo." Ronan frowned and said, "We need to find a way to get rid of this gigolo so Seraphina can focus."
If Seraphina really had such needs, he could help find quality male college students, and if it came to it, he could consider himself.
But it absolutely shouldn’t be this gigolo, can’t let Seraphina lose herself in pleasures.
"What can we do?"
Beatrice asked nervously.
In the conference room, Seraphina fed Ethan a few grapes.
Ethan wasn’t easy to please even eating grapes; he would bite Seraphina’s fingertips every time, not hard, but leaving a faint circle of teeth marks.
Ethan seemed satisfied with the mark he left, his increasingly dark gaze made Seraphina nervous.
If this continued, something might happen.
"I’m going to the bathroom, then let’s go home." Seraphina was afraid of Ethan doing something in the meeting room, so she headed out.
Seraphina pushed open the conference room door to leave, and once she was out, Beatrice and Ronan immediately stood up from the corner and walked into the meeting room.
Beatrice casually closed the conference room door. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Upon hearing footsteps, Ethan immediately put on a mask, sitting in his seat, his aura icy.
Ronan walked over aggressively, pulled a chair over and sat down, slamming his hand on the table, "Let’s hear it, what’s your name?"
He looked menacing, a far cry from his obedient appearance in front of Seraphina.
But Ethan didn’t even glance at them.
"Hey, what’s with the arrogance?"
Ronan was fuming, Beatrice pressed Ronan to sit down, then looked at Ethan, expression indifferent, "Sir, I understand your line of work needs privacy, let’s do this. I won’t ask about your personal matters, just about your situation with Seraphina."
Your line of work.
Did they know who he was? Did Seraphina tell them?
Ethan frowned, didn’t speak.
"Is your rate at the club quite high, how much does Seraphina usually pay you?"
Beatrice asked seriously.
Club?
What nonsense were they thinking.
Ethan looked at them with a flash of disdain, tapping the table twice with his fingers.
Seeing Ethan not utter a word, Ronan pushed Beatrice aside, "Why are you being so polite, let me do it!"
Having said that, Ronan slammed a bank card in front of Ethan, "Dude, I’ll be straight, whatever Seraphina gives you, I’ll double it!"
