Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 182: Lazarus Wants To Be Arielle’s Concubine
Arielle had returned from the town square. After getting what she wanted, Arielle could now feel calmer. The panic she had felt earlier had disappeared, as she hugged the book she was about to gift to Ronan.
Arielle intended to give him the present tomorrow. Obviously because the day after tomorrow, she had to return to the South.
"Lazarus, Lucas, thanks for helping me today," Arielle said after getting off the carriage. Her next words made Lazarus blush. "Especially Lazarus, who helped me find this thing. Thank you very much
The smile that Arielle was giving him at this moment was so sincere it made the man’s heart tremble. Finally! After a few days, Arielle was no longer afraid of him...
Lazarus bowed respectfully, and then took out the pouch that Arielle had given him to buy a book.
"Here, I return the rest of the money."
Arielle then received the coin pouch back.
"Then I will return to the library. Thank you again. Have a nice day!" said Arielle, who then rushed in the direction of the Blackthorn Palace leaving Lucas and Lazarus, who looked at the departure of the princess.
After seeing Arielle enter the palace, Lazarus suddenly rested his head on Lucas’ shoulder.
"Sir Lazarus!?"
Lazarus took Lucas’ arm, making the man panic even more. He tried to free himself, but Lazarus held him tighter.
Lazarus took a deep breath. "Lucas, do you know how to win a princess’s heart? I think I really like her, but if I were to express my feelings I would definitely be beheaded by Ronan."
"Sir Lazarus, please watch your words, lest His Majesty the King hear it."
"Hey, can you recommend a new rule to Ronan?" asked Lazarus so suddenly.
Lucas, who couldn’t get away from Lazarus, gave up. He let his shoulder become a place to lean on for the man who was pretending to be heartbroken.
"What rules?"
"Some kind of rules to allow a queen to marry more than one man. I am willing to be Princess Arielle’s first concubine."
Lucas once again sighed tiredly. He knew that talking to the man would be futile. After Lazarus let go of his arm, Lucas immediately turned around and left the man calling his name continuously.
"Hey, Lucas! I mean what I said!’ shouted Lazarus, which Lucas didn’t hear. "Hey! At least let’s have a drink and talk about this idea of mine one more time!"
The further he went, the louder Lazarus screamed. Lucas kept walking away and looking for a calm place. He didn’t care if Lazarus was serious or joking. He still valued his own life very much. Lazarus was crazy. He had been punished many times by the king, but he could not improve his attitude. Lucas shook his head in annoyance.
Lazarus stopped screaming. He looked around the palace, which looked deserted. There were one or two guards on duty, and they both didn’t care about the screams just now. Lazarus lowered his head with a frown. He kicked the pile of snow near his feet in annoyance.
He had been feeling very lonely since this morning. Kael forbade him to go camping with him, and then William also turned out to go secretly to the west without telling him. Ronan was the same, there was no one he could talk to.
Annoying Arielle was also not a good idea right now. It was true that he went to the square to fill his free time. But Lucas and Arielle had returned to their respective activities.
Again he was made lonely, and that annoyed him. When Lazarus turned around, he saw Ronan walking out of the Cathedral. It seemed that the man’s needs in the sacred building had been completed. Lazarus’ smile grew wide, and then he rushed over to the masked man.
"Hey, are you done with work?" asked Lazarus enthusiastically.
"I’m busy," Ronan replied curtly.
Lazarus let out a long sigh, then slowed down sadly. Ronan, who kept walking, looked back for a moment to see Lazarus standing with his head down and his hands hanging limply at his sides.
Ronan knew what the man wanted. Today Kael and William were out of the palace, leaving him alone. Lazarus must be upset that he was the only one who didn’t have anything to do here.
Ronan turned around as if he didn’t care.
"You want a drink?" asked Ronan as he walked away, making Lazarus tilt his head up.
The man’s smile returned and he quickly caught up with Ronan. He wrapped his arms around Ronan’s shoulders so casually.
"May I drink from the bottle on your special shelf?" asked the cheerful Lazarus again.
"Hmm. As long as you don’t interfere with my work."
"Yippee! I’ve been waiting for this for years! Ha! Shame on William and Kael! This is karma for leaving me alone! You can never drink high-quality whiskey!" shouted Lazarus, making Ronan furrow his brows.
"And don’t shout too much either. Your voice makes me dizzy."
"Yes, Your Majesty," answered Lazarus more gently.

Arielle had taken a book from the library. In her room, she immersed herself in every page of the book. Even when Riel nudged the flower vase, Arielle didn’t hear it.
She had kept Ronan’s present well. She didn’t want to open the contents even though she was very curious about what book could make such a big change. However, Arielle held herself as best she could, not to untie the hemp ropes and the shiny folds of paper. Maybe later Arielle could add a ribbon to make it look better.
Arielle was currently reading a recipe book to make a cake. Arielle once saw the palace maids and chefs prepare a big cake for her siblings’ birthday. The cake for their birthday was so beautiful, and the chefs stuck so many beautiful candles on it.
They said one candle represents one wish that would be granted. That was why the servants often put a lot of candles. It was so that her siblings could make a lot of wishes and many of those wishes would come true.
It turned out that making the cake was quite simple. Arielle decided she would try to make one for Ronan.
