Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 179: Getting Permission With A Kiss
"Ronan, I really don’t want to trouble you," Arielle tried to argue.
"Taking a tour around the city shouldn’t be a problem, Arielle. I prefer to spend my free time with you."
What’s more, Arielle’s remaining time in the North was short. Ronan wanted as much time as possible to spend with Arielle. He didn’t know how long he’d be able to meet Arielle again. And imagining the girl going out of the palace made the man’s overprotective nature even more intense.
"You have been very busy lately. Use your free time to rest. If you really want to be with me, I will accompany you to rest. Therefore, it’s better now that you go back to doing more important things and we will meet again at rest time later, this afternoon," said Arielle.
Ronan thought long and hard.
"But I still can’t trust Lazarus to be near you," said the man making Arielle chuckle.
"There’s still the sane Lucas. I’m sure Lazarus won’t make a mess. I promise to take good care of him."
"Actually, I’m afraid he would do bad things to you," Ronan muttered, making Arielle raise her hand to touch the man’s mask.
"Impossible. I’ve been warning him."
Ronan still felt so reluctant to let Arielle go. Arielle, who sensed the man’s doubts, tiptoed and grabbed Ronan’s neck. Arielle took her chance to kiss the man’s mask on the lips.
"Ronan, please... I only had time to enjoy the town square on the night of the festival. I promise I’ll be back before you finish your work this afternoon."
The man’s heart beat faster. He sighed and then shook his head in defeat. "You really know how to get things done. You’re learning too much."
"Didn’t you teach me back then? You said yourself if I could ask for anything in exchange for a kiss."
Ronan chuckled softly and lifted his mask slightly so he could kiss Arielle’s lips directly.
"And you study really well," the man said after he planted a long kiss on her lips.

Arielle had obtained permission from Ronan. After the man went back into the hall and left Arielle, who was busy trying to calm his heart from their kiss earlier, Lucas and Lazarus came out with big smiles on their faces.
Lazarus gave thumbs up, appreciating Arielle’s efforts to ask Ronan for permission. Actually earlier, Lazarus had asked for permission too, but the king quickly refused. Lucas also said the same thing, but neither of them was given permission by Ronan.
Finally, Ronan left them and went to talk with Arielle. It didn’t take long for the king to return in a better mood and then allowed them to accompany Arielle out of the palace.
Lazarus was quite surprised at first because, usually, Ronan would continue to impose his will until the end. If Ronan said that they should not leave the palace, then until the end of the world, they should not leave the palace.
"What did you say that made Ronan change his mind?" asked Lazarus curiously.
Arielle, whose face was still blushing, cleared her throat slowly to calm herself down. The girl turned her face around and walked away. Lucas and Lazarus simultaneously walked after the princess.
"I just said I wanted to enjoy my time in the square before heading back to the South," answered Arielle.
The girl twirled her fingers to wipe away the nervousness that swelled up from lying to Lazarus.
"Oh... that’s all? Wow.... You are amazing," said Lazarus in awe.
Lucas chuckled at Lazarus’ surprised face. "You must be very surprised, right?" Lucas asked. Lazarus nodded quickly.
"I thought I have to shed another tear to ask permission. Princess Arielle is really great to be able to tame that scary monster."
"His Majesty the king is not a monster," said Arielle quietly, who had been listening to Lucas’ and Lazarus’ conversation behind her.
"Sorry?" asked a confused Lazarus.
Arielle looked back slightly to glance at Lazarus briefly, then took another step forward.
"It’s nothing. Just forget it. Let’s hurry because I have promised to return before evening."
Lucas nodded in agreement. "All right, princess."

Arielle couldn’t ride her own horse. As a result, inevitably, she simply used a plain carriage. Lazarus initially offered to take the princess along with his horse. But he got rejected by the girl outright, which made Lucas hold back his laughter.
It didn’t take long for Lucas to provide a simple carriage. It was Arielle’s carriage that she used to travel from Nieverdell to Northendell before. The carriage had been repaired in several places and they removed some of the southern royal coat of arms.
Arielle recognized the carriage as belonging to her brother, who had lent it to her because Archie’s name was still engraved on the body of the carriage that had not been repainted.
"You guys fixed it?" Arielle asked Lucas.
"That’s right, Your Highness. We replaced the wheels and some parts of the body because the condition of the carriage was badly damaged when we found it at the time."
Arielle remembered very clearly how the bandits used to attack them. At that time, they had just passed the border area between the two kingdoms, and even Tania disappeared for a few days.
Seeing the carriage return made her feel sad. Arielle felt sad because it reminded her of the terrible incident that time and reminded her that the carriage was the carriage she would use to return to the South.
"You don’t want to ride it?" Lucas asked who had stretched his elbows in front of Arielle so the girl could climb onto the carriage.
"Sorry, I will go up now."
After Arielle entered, Lucas followed to sit near the coachman, who pulled the horse’s reins.
Lazarus waited for the carriage to leave the palace and followed behind. He had promised Ronan to protect Arielle. Even though he didn’t seem serious, he was a knight too!
He had sword skills above the average of other men. Maybe he couldn’t beat Kael or Ronan yet, but to fight a thug or bandit on the street, he could handle it on his own.
