Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 144: Talks About The Wedding
Ronan considered Arielle’s idea, and he strongly agreed with it. But he was a king who was going to marry a princess from another kingdom. That basically meant the people should know that their kingdom already had a queen, right?
He completely agreed with the girl’s last sentence. It would be very strange if people who were strangers to them witnessed their wedding procession. It was no secret that people were afraid of him.
Ronan was currently experiencing an inner conflict. As a king, he wanted to share his happiness with his subjects. But as a man, he wanted a wedding like Arielle described, an intimate one.
Not wanting to disappoint Arielle, Ronan would save the answer for later after speaking with Priest Elis the next day.
"Then who are you going to invite to our wedding?"
Ronan secretly hoped in his heart that Arielle would not mention her siblings.
"Probably just Tania... and Sasha, and a few people from Frostmount Village if you’ll allow," Arielle answered doubtfully.
Ah... the Frostmount people, huh... looks like they’d managed to get Arielle’s heart. Ronan nodded in understanding and tried to remember it for later.
But there was one foreign name Ronan had never heard of. Was that one of her surviving pets in Nieverdell?
"Sasha? Who is that?"
"Sasha is the boy we found earlier."
Ah ... that child. Ronan had no reason to refuse Arielle’s request just now. Even if Sasha was added to Arielle’s guest list, it meant that the child had become Arielle’s friend, and Ronan could not simply cross the child’s name.
"Alright, I’ll allow it for you." The man’s answer made Arielle smile widely.
"Then who will you invite?" asked Arielle back.
"Only people you have seen. William, Lucas, Kael, Lazarus if he hadn’t returned to the sea before we get married. Then Cathedral people like Priest Elis and Priest Jill. And also, Priest Louise, the father of Priest Elis, who has retired. Is that too many?"
Arielle shook her head. "They are the people closest to you."
Talking about their wedding made Ronan feel even more impatient. He watched Arielle with a gentle gaze full of love.
"Speaking of Sasha, what are you going to do to the child?"
"Hm... I don’t think returning him to an orphanage is a wise move. I just want him to enjoy his childhood well. Employing a small child is also not a wise move. I thought about finding him a foster parent, but that is, of course, not easy."
Finding foster parents for him? Ronan would like to consider it. The boy was too young to be employed in the palace. He also didn’t have any mana streams open, so he couldn’t be recruited by Cathedral. But Ronan already harbored some interest and wanted the boy to be one of his knights in the future.
Seeing how fierce the boy’s grudge made Ronan believe that the boy had the potential to be a great knight even though he wasn’t as great as Kael or himself. However, if honed with a strong will, the child could become a valuable warrior.
"Arielle, I think I should hand Sasha over to Kael."
"Lord Kael? Will he adopt Sasha as his son?"
Ronan laughed at Arielle’s innocent question. What he meant was to put Sasha in Kael’s tutelage and training. Kael would not take care of any children because he was not married yet.
"Of course not. Sasha will receive training from Kael to become a knight in the future." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
"But he’s still a child."
"I know, but it’s better than us sending him back to the same orphanage or abandoning him again. We can’t force Sasha to be a servant in the palace either, can we? This way, Sasha will be forged to become a great warrior and prove himself to the others at the orphanage,"
Ronan could see the doubt in Arielle’s eyes. He then stroked her cheek gently.
"Then what are you going to do with the orphanage?" asked the girl in a sad tone.
"I’ll re-evaluate it. You don’t have to worry. I won’t let the kids over there be neglected or let this happen again. Maybe, I’ll have Lucas find someone who is committed to taking care of the orphanage better."
Hearing that, Arielle became more relieved. She laid back down on the bed again. Ronan patted the girl’s back, making her eyes heavy.
"Sorry to keep you awake when you were sleepy."
"It’s okay, I like it when we talk. Talking to you is really fun," Arielle replied, making the man smile.
"Thanks, go to sleep. I won’t bother you anymore."
Ronan kissed Arielle’s forehead and let the girl sleep in front of him. While he was still busy watching every side of the girl’s face.

The next day, Ronan invited Arielle to meet Priest Elis. Before visiting the Cathedral, Arielle stopped by to see Sasha’s condition. It turned out that the child was still fast asleep, as Tania said.
Ronan was waiting in the Cathedral, to be precise in the room belonging to Priest Elis. The man got up first. After giving a short kiss on Arielle’s forehead, who was still asleep, he went back to his room to change clothes and checked the pile of papers on his desk.
When he was eating breakfast while reading his work report, Lucas told him that Arielle had woken up and was visiting Sasha’s room. The man told Lucas to tell Arielle if he wanted to meet the girl at the Cathedral.
That morning, the northern sky was brighter than usual. Even if there was no sun, at least no clouds were piling up, meaning that until tonight there was no chance of snowing.
Priest Elis sat patiently waiting for the king who was sitting cross-legged waiting for Princess Arielle. He did not dare to ask the man’s purpose.
Priest Elis was not someone like William, who was always curious about other people’s business. The man was very disciplined and was able to hold himself well.
There was a knock on his study door, then the door opened, revealing Lucas, who had come with Princess Arielle. The girl greeted Priest Elis with a cheerful smile, making Priest Elis smile from the princess’ hospitality.
After inviting the princess to sit on the single sofa near the king, Lucas was allowed to leave the room to complete his other palace duties.
"Would you like some tea, Your Highness?" Priest Elis asked Arielle because Ronan already had his morning coffee.
"Thank you, don’t bother. I already had breakfast before coming here," answered Arielle.
Now Priest Elis turned to the king. Ronan took off his mask and placed it on the table. The man took a sip of the hot coffee that Priest Elis had prepared before Arielle arrived.
"Priest Elis, I want to talk about something important."
"I will listen carefully, Your Majesty."
Ronan turned to Arielle. The girl was still smiling, confused as to why the man suddenly looked at her and didn’t speak to Priest Elis. Ronan stretched out his hand then took Arielle’s hand into his. Priest Elis who saw that was quite surprised.
He knew that the king had an interest in the princess. But he didn’t think that the man could touch the princess so freely. Priest Elis struggled to swallow his saliva when he saw his king kissing the back of Princess Arielle’s hand.
Perhaps....
"I will marry Arielle," said Ronan, making Priest Elis cough.
