Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 143: What Kind Of Wedding Do You Want?
Ronan hugged Arielle from behind. His hand traced Arielle’s arm, which was so smooth. He also kissed the girl’s hair. Both of them were lying down, feeling exhausted after doing their night activities that were quite draining.
Ronan actually wanted to do it again, but Arielle was obviously too tired and got sleepy.
"Arielle, are you asleep?" asked Ronan quietly. He lifted his body to peek at Arielle’s blushing face. The girl’s eyes were tightly closed with her mouth slightly open.
Arielle shook her head slowly, then turned around, hugging Ronan tightly.
"Not yet," she answered hoarsely.
Ronan thus returned the hug no less tightly. Arielle’s warm body was very soothing.
"Ronan ... I can’t breathe," Arielle said as the man hugged her too tightly.
Ronan let go of his arms then chuckled at Arielle’s adorable face.
"My wife," Ronan called, making Arielle smile even though her eyes were still closed.
"Not yet," answered Arielle.
"But soon."
Arielle lifted the blanket to cover her naked body. She opened her eyes and found Ronan looking at her with a big smile.
The girl’s hand reached out to touch the scar on the man’s face.
"Don’t you feel tired?" asked Arielle quietly.
Ronan shook his head.
"Absolutely not," he answered excitedly, then kissed Arielle’s lips briefly.
Arielle was really overwhelmed by Ronan’s inability to keep his distance from her. Arielle was always surprised by the kisses the man gave. She was never ready because Ronan would kiss her at random moments that Arielle had never expected.
Arielle thought the man wasn’t as sleepy as she was, thus she thought about what topics they should talk about so Ronan wouldn’t feel lonely.
"What are you thinking about?" asked Ronan, who saw Arielle’s frowning brows.
"Ah, I am just thinking that you weren’t sleepy yet, so I try to find a topic of conversation," Arielle answered innocently, making Ronan smirk.
"Aw, sweetheart. You don’t have to. If you’re sleepy, then sleep."
"But you can’t sleep, can you?"
"Don’t mind me. I can stare at you all night long without getting bored."
Ronan spoke earnestly. He could stare at Arielle for a long time without getting bored. For him, Arielle was the most beautiful phenomenon in his life. And soon, the girl would be his wife.
He wanted an extraordinary wedding to celebrate their happiest day. He couldn’t wait for Arielle to wear the most beautiful wedding dress in the world. Ronan wanted to see his wife shine the brightest, wearing the most beautiful diamonds.
But ... what about Arielle? He didn’t want to dictate what he wanted to her.
"Arielle, what kind of wedding do you want?"
Arielle thought for a moment. She never had a dream wedding. While in the South she was always resigned to her fate. Never once had she imagined what kind of marriage she would have in the future. Neither of her siblings was married yet, so she didn’t have any example.
Ah! Arielle remembered something! She once stole a look at the Cathedral in Nieverdell when there was a wedding. Arielle was helping the maids who took care of the wedding.
Arielle got the task of arranging cakes in the Cathedral’s garden and when she looked through the Cathedral’s glass window, she saw a woman in a beautiful white dress. Arielle’s heart pounded at the memory... imagining herself in a white dress with a long veil that hung down to the floor.
Not many guests were there. Only a few people came, but they all looked very happy.
"I ... want an intimate marriage," Arielle muttered.
"Hmm?"
Arielle now turned towards Ronan.
"In Nieverdell, there is a small Cathedral in a remote village, near the river. The view is really beautiful, as not far from there is a very wide mountain valley."
Ronan was now listening intently.
"It was my first experience witnessing a wedding, and it was beautiful. Not many people came, only a few, but it was very lovely."
Ronan seemed to be starting to understand what Arielle wanted. Even though the girl didn’t say it directly, Ronan could see the beautiful glint in Arielle’s eyes imagining her wedding.
Ronan himself had never imagined such a simple party. All the time he always made a big celebration. The north was a cold place, the busier and livelier the people present, the warmer the party would be.
Although in the end, he didn’t really join the party himself and chose to be alone somewhere but hearing the crowds of the party was very satisfying for Ronan.
If he joined in, the party atmosphere would be awkward. People would not be able to freely enjoy the party. That was why Ronan always resigned early because his intimidating aura would only make the party feel dead.
To celebrate his coronation as king a three-day and three-night party were held. Ronan would be alone in his room and watch the people enjoying the celebrations happily.
He thought all this time the party had to invite many people. It didn’t matter whether he knew them or not, because the purpose of the party was to celebrate a happy day.
Now, hearing Arielle’s idea of their marriage made Ronan think twice. If he only invited the people closest to them, then Ronan would be able to enjoy the party, right?
Earlier, Arielle imagined a Cathedral near a river with a beautiful view of the mountain valley?
Hm... so Arielle wanted them to get married in the South?
"You want us to get married there?" the man asked for sure.
"Where?"
"In the Cathedral you told me earlier."
Arielle shook her head quickly. "No-no, I didn’t mean it like that at all. Besides, the Cathedral I was referring to was already torn down. I don’t mean to have our wedding there."
The girl got up to face Ronan holding her blanket to her chest.
"I want a simple wedding attended by only those closest to us. It would be very awkward if someone I didn’t know noticed me during the wedding procession," she spoke earnestly.
