Love You for the Rest of My Life-Chapter 1916 - 1915: The Greatest of All Is Mother
"What a wonderful child." The Queen lavishly praised, without any concealment, she was full of admiration for Di Jinxuan.
Because of the Queen’s sudden arrival, the guests who were previously eating and drinking all paused and felt a bit hesitant to move their chopsticks.
Or perhaps, they were just very curious.
Speaking of which, the Nangong Family is quite remarkable. It’s one thing to invite a Prince, as everyone knows that Alvin and Nangong Jin are good friends.
But for the Queen to make time to come, isn’t that impressive?
Although she was late, the fact that she could come truly gave great honor.
"Your Majesty, this is my mother-in-law and father-in-law." Nangong Jin began the introduction, presenting the Di Family first as a sign of absolute respect and esteem.
Di Yan and Fang Hao stood up.
The Queen was very pleased, smiling with joy and warmth, extending her hand without any airs, "Mr. Di, Ms. Fang, I’ve heard so much about you. It’s a pleasure to meet you."
Di Yan and Fang Hao hurried forward, yet remained gracious, "Your Majesty, you flatter us. It is an honor for our daughter and son-in-law, as well as for our entire family, that you could come. We warmly welcome you."
The three shook hands amicably.
"This is my eldest brother Di Mingzhe, my sister-in-law Di Xiaxia, my second brother Di Mingchen, my third brother Di Mingjue, and my third sister-in-law Gu Qibao," Nangong Jin continued the introductions.
The Queen’s eyes brightened, "Your Excellency of the Empire, Commander, foremost businessman, and a world champion; I am truly honored to meet you all."
The Queen was genuinely courteous and passionately open, making people feel particularly comfortable.
"Pleasure to meet you." Di Mingzhe was the first to shake hands with the Queen, "I never expected you to come, such an honor."
The Queen lifted her smile, "Truly heroes from youth, your Di Family siblings are all exceptional."
"So this is the world champion and First Lady," the Queen looked at Di Xiaxia, extending her hand.
Di Xiaxia, feeling a bit shy, quickly shook the Queen’s hand, "Your Majesty, just call me Xiaxia. We are delighted that you could come."
"A lovely name," the Queen nodded with a smile, "I’m a fan of yours, you know. I’ve watched your competitions, very impressive, remarkable!"
"Thank you," Di Xiaxia replied with a polite smile.
Then Di Mingchen also came forward to shake hands with the Queen, politely saying, "Welcome, indeed an honor for us."
The Queen’s eyes lit up, laughing warmly yet modestly, "I’ve long heard of the famous second young master of the Di Family; it’s a pleasure to finally meet you in person. Handsome young man! It would be great to observe one of your military exercises in person!"
"You flatter me, it’s my honor," Di Mingchen also laughed generously.
"Your Majesty, welcome," Di Mingjue also stepped forward.
"Mr. Di Mingjue, I’ve heard much of your reputation," the Queen smiled brightly, "It’s a pity you’ve left architecture; I forgot to tell you my college elective was architecture."
Di Mingjue raised his lips, "Then we are indeed in the same field."
"Yes, colleagues," the Queen laughed heartily, "And this is your wife, what an adorable little sister!"
Gu Qibao: "..."
Why is she just a cute little sister!
"Your Majesty," Gu Qibao extended her hand, smiling shyly, "I’m not that young, I’m already a mother."
Gu Qibao’s words drew laughter from everyone, instantly lightening and brightening the atmosphere considerably.
"That’s remarkable," the Queen playfully winked, "Mothers are the most outstanding."
"Yes!" Gu Qibao happily nodded in agreement.
