Just as the teasing reached its peak, headlights appeared in the distance and Ollie turned to see who the other unexpected guest was.

"Did you guys invite anyone else?". She asked but everyone nodded negatively and they all turned around to see who the uninvited guest was.

"Angelo". Ollie exclaimed excitedly, her eyes widening in surprise as the supposedly uninvited guest stepped out of his car stunning everyone present.

"Angelo". Yvette smiled as she embraced her brother, calling out to him as he walked over , a broad grin lighting up his face.

Everyone happily exchanged pleasantries though they were surprised he was suddenly in town and at their dinner get together at all place.

City P was several hours flight away so how could he be present just in time .

"Surprise!". Angelo said, laughing as he hugged his sister. "What, did you all think I’d miss a night like this, especially one hosted by the dearest Olivia. I’m the life of the party so why should I miss this beautiful occasion? . I was just kidding, by the way I just arrived today and went by to my dearest Eriq house and then I saw him sneaking off, so I thought I’d follow and tada, here we are!"

Everyone clapped him on the back, clearly thrilled by the unexpected visit, of course except Eriq whose eyes almost murdered him.

"I think I need to teach you a proper lesson, especially with your loose mouth". Eriq snarled.

"Oh my love". Angelo frowned , clutching his chest as though his heart was in pain. "Don’t be like that, it hurts here but anything for you my love".

"You’re crazy, stop talking to me with that tone and expression or I’ll kill you one day". Eriq complained as he shifted away from him.

"Oh , my love. Is this you being shy right now?. What a rare expression". Angelo clapped.

"Hey, are you two trying to steal our shine. This dinner is mostly focused on us not you two squirmy worms". Olivia mumbled, her mouth filled with steak as she complained, drawing back everyone’s attention to her and of course Knox. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"We know, you temperamental worm". Eriq hissed under his breath.

"You were saying something?". Knox butted in, rolling the sleeves of his shirt.

"I mean of course, we’re here for you two, to tease you especially". He stumbled for words as he corrected himself.

"Likewise". Angelo replied with a smirk. "And I see I’m just in time to tease the new couple in our midst, huh?" He cast a mischievous look at the couples.

"Alright, alright," Olivia huffed, crossing her arms over her chest annoyingly but clearly enjoying the attention. "Enough about us okay, we’ve had this all evening. Why don’t you guys go get busy and help with the barbecue?"

The men bowed apologetically as the ladies burst into laughter and the men gathered around the barbecue grill, laughing and joking as they set up the coals, while the women relaxed nearby, sipping warm drinks and chatting with Ollie about her new relationship.

"So, how did Knox pop the question, I mean how did you two eventually get together. I’m really curious about this?". Leila asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity as she leaned over.

"I’ve been waiting all night to ask this particular question". Odiette butted in merrily. "Quickly, out with it".

Olivia blushed, but couldn’t hide her smile.

"Well, at the winter solstice dinner, I realized David was cheating on me , I git drunk at Knox’s place and then the rest is history. "

"Wow, just wow". Leila screamed.

"Go on, we’ve not gotten to the depth of the gist". Odiette urged and Olivia continued.

"Well, after that I started avoiding him because I thought it was embarrassing. I just git cheated on by my fiancé but it didn’t hurt that much, it didn’t hurt the way it was supposed to because I was already liking someone but kept trying to deny but now I can’t any longer". Olivia continued.

"So, he finally found me all thanks to Yvette and then. . . Everything got pieces together and here we are".

"I see ". Odiette and Leila chorused as if on cue and they all chuckled.

"So, next on the quee line is the both if you". Olivia said. "You bitch are getting old already".

"Really". Leila chuckled.

"You finally got the man you wanted so you dare to rush others, just wow". Odiette clapped as they all burst into another round of laughter.

As they laughed and chatted merrily,the men finally called them over, serving up the tender and perfectly charred skewers of meat.

They all gathered under the stars, eating and talking until Angelo suddenly held up a hand.

"Alright, folks!" . Angelo merrily announced, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "I think it’s time we played a little game, i mean spice things up a bit."

"I have a bad feeling in my guts". Yvette immediately responded. She knew, whatever he was up to , was definitely up to no good.

"Oh no," Olivia groaned, though she couldn’t stop herself from smiling at the idea. "What now?"

"Spin the bottle!" Angelo proclaimed, pulling an empty bottle from the table. "I’ll explain the rules. If after spinning, the bottle points to you, you have two choices: answer a question or take on a dare. No backing out, I can take pity and say three glasses of wine!" He gave a pointed look around the group, who laughed and nodded, agreeing to his suspicion.

"Alright, then I’ll go first". Angelo clapped.

With that, Angelo placed the bottle in the center of the table and gave it a strong spin. It whirled, glinting in the lantern light, before finally coming to a stop... pointing directly at Olivia.

"Oh, here we go!". Yvette teased, nudging the stunned Olivia.

Olivia sighed, putting a hand to her chest in mock dread. "Alright, hit me!"

Angelo grinned and asked. "Alright, truth or dare?"

"Truth,". Ollie replied with a smirk, confidently bracing herself up for whatever question he was about to àsk.
