I suggest we create a celebrity lounge that is used by only celebrities. We can have an entire floor divided up to separate them because even among them, for some, class matters."

Mei Mei nodded. Shes still had some unoccupied floors but with all this expansion, she needed to expand as she was running out of space. "I am going to escalate the plans of adding another building."

They found the first outdoor Huaqi eatery and stopped by. Madame Feng was inside, putting the finishing touches in place.

Assistant Han was aware of the relationship between all the parties but none the less, she introduced the eatery professionally. Madame Feng addressed Mei Mei professionally.

"Miss Jun, would you like to try our new caramel pop cheesecake?" She held a small plate with a cake slice an spoon before Mei Mei.

Mei Mei accepted it and turned to Jingzhe. "Baby...ahhh."

The chef hat on Madam Feng’s head fell off. These two were not this sickeningly sweet at home. Why were they being extra now?

Jingzhe was happy, he did not care. He opened up and tasted the cake like it was his first time eating it. He even forgot that the recipe was his and he had created it for Mingzhu. Since she could not eat popcorn anymore, he had come up with a caramel popcorn flavored cheesecake.

When Mei Mei took a bite, the first thought on her mind was that Tao Xiaotong’s movie waffle had some serious competition. It was hard to tell who would win between the sales competition.

C4 snorted, "Please, we both know Huaqi is taking the championship."

Mei Mei sighed. Yes, the winner was already decided. She was even more sure when she found herself eating the entire slice and craving more.

Madam Feng brought out another slice of cheesecake with a blackberry on top. It had deep purple stripes in the middle and on the bottom and edges. Where the stripes ended, a thick sweet goo sat. There was a glimmer to the cake that called for attention.

"Blackberry scandal." She announced.

Mei Mei fed Jingzhe the first spoon and then she ate the next one while moaning. It was rich, creamy and tangy. She discovered crushed pistachios in the mix.

"Rest in peace, Tao Xiaotong." C4 laughed.

Mei Mei sighed. Actually when it came to quantities, Tao foods produced more in volume than Huaqi. But yes, her boyfriend and his mother were going to win this battle.

The food tour continued and Mei Mei bumped into Mrs. Xu. The woman was so happy to see her that she hugged her and immediately started about a topic unrelated to the pastries she sold.

"Can you imagine that Tang Yue called me from jail, asking if I could raise her son!!" She pulled Mei Mei to sit down so that she could share every detail while they were both comfortable. "The first question I asked her is if she was out of her mind. And then she cried!!"

Mr.Xu winced from behind the counter where he was arranging pastries with two employees.

"She is crazy indeed." Mei Mei answered.

Mr. Xu handed Jingzhe the best seller of their pastries, a spring roll shaped pastry they named golden bite. It was an original recipe passed down from his ancestors. The pastry was responsible for the making their brand famous.

Mrs. Xu was still expressed her anger and disgust, "Mind you, this is the same child that almost killed you. I think she was deliberately trying to sow discord between us. Imagine me bringing that boy around here all the time. Isn’t that a slap in your face? I told her that I would never risk the friendship I have with you to help out a snake like her."

Jingzhe bit into the golden bite, taking one large bite. He was a fan of the layered pastry with its nuts, sesame filling and golden syrup. And the red bean paste layer they had added recently was a bonus which made the golden bite even better than before.

Mr. Xu handed golden bites to the department heads and they accepted. Only Assistant Han turned him down. Still he packed it for her and she accepted it.
