Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday-Chapter 264: Mo Hao’s new guardian.
The Feng’s had no idea what they were in for when they were invited to the Jun family in door camp. Chi Lian and Muyang were there and so were all their children.
Madam Feng was not certain but it almost seemed liked Jun Lei and Jun Jie had been kidnapped and brought over. When they were brought into the house, they had black cloths over their heads and Jun Lei was shouting, "I won’t hoot."
As madam Feng and Jingzhe entered the excessively large tent, she noticed that the children looked resigned. "We don’t have to take any oaths, do we?" She asked.
"Don’t give her ideas." Jun Yi cried out.
Like a hostage, she was being held in Chi Lian’s arms, without an escape route. This was not because she was being forced to stay back for the camp, it was because she wanted to bring in pets and everybody had voted no.
Rose had voted ten times because she did not want to wake up with a spider in her ear.
Chi Lian smiled and said, "Bandit, add taking an oath to my camp ideas."
The children groaned.
Muyang closed the tent, puling down the zip with a smile that was devilish as that of a carnivorous plant. The clicking sound made the the Feng’s quake nervously.
Chi Lian pushed Jun Yi aside and she smiled at her children and new relatives. "Hello everyone, welcome to the Jun family’s second branch camping event. Let’s go around introducing ourselves."
Mingzhe groaned. What introductions? Everyone there was familiar with each other.
"I am Jun Mingzhu." The youngest and most eager member of the family went first.
Her childish innocence made everyone realize that someone was excited for the indoor family camp so they put on their best smiles and decided to just enjoy it. It was not like they could escape anyway.
"I am Jun Meilin, Jin Mingzhu’s mother."
Mingzhu’s eyes lit up and she decided to introduce herself again. She stood up and said in her childish voice, "Hello everyone, I am Jun Mingzhu, mommy’s daughter. My mommy is Jun Mei Mei and my daddy is daddy."
Jun Yi burst into laughter.
Chi Lian pulled her ear and Jun Yi winced.
And so the introductions continued and the fun was started. Owl hooting was the very first activity and it left the real owl Tofu, very confused.
Meow Meow suspiciously peeked at Tofu wondering if her owl parents or relatives had come to visit. If they had, they were not welcome in her territory. Had nobody told these crazy people that bats and owls were not the greatest of friends?

In the morning, Jingzhe gave Mei Mei a ride to work. When they left at 6.30 a.m, Mingzhu and the others were still sleeping. The exception was Mingzhe that had left as early as 5.00 a.m in the morning and Madam Feng that left at 5.40 a.m to prepare for the opening of Huaqi’s new branch at Pearl space camp.
Instead of flying, they took the normal road, opting for the self driving option so that they could talk comfortably. Jingzhe wanted to hug as he had not been able to hug her last night.
So, he was holding her tightly, leaning his head on her chest as she run her hands through his hair.
"What is this?" She laughed when he closed his eyes. "Are you sleepy? Why wake up early?"
"I promised you that I would drive you to work today. I never go back on my promises." he answered.
Mei Mei had a random thought and she shared it. "Does anyone actually know how to drive these days? We all have self driving of flying cars. The need to control the steering wheel of a car with our hands no longer exists. The skill of driving has become a lost art form."
Jingzhe opened his eyes. Her words and her tone reminded him so much of her father Jun Muyang. She sounded like she was giving a lecture, much like the one he had given them the previous night on the future of the food service industry.
Jingzhe had yawned so much during that ten minute lecture. His mother on the other hand, she had been fascinated and they spent thirty minutes discussing it with Jun Jie and Jun Lie.
"Your father kept me up with a never ending chess game." He yawned. "And then he tore apart one of our jellyfishes so that he could take a closer look on the inside."
Mei Mei had slept off sometime during the fake marshmallow roasting so she had no clue what had happened beyond Nine o’clock. She did not even know what time Mingzhu had slept off because the little one had been having so much fun.
"Who drew a rat on Jun Yi’s cheek?" she asked him.
"That would be your brothers, all three of them." he answered. "Your mother took pictures, I am sure that you will find them in your family chat group." He told her.
He yawned again, closed his eyes and burying his head in her chest. Mei Mei was still using the nice floral garden perfume. It was so relaxing that it was contributing to his sleepy state.
"Oh," He opened his eyes and lifted his head. "By the way, your brother mentioned that Tang Yue is now in jail. She is being charged as an accomplice to attempted murder and other crimes. Her son was taken to her brother Bingwen. I guess he will be raising the boy from now on."
"Not her mother!" Mei Mei frowned.
Tang Yue and her mother were as thick as thieves. What had happened for Tang Yue to give guardianship to her brother?
"Villains can be good mothers too sometimes." He shrugged. "I guess she knows that her mother will not be able to look raise her son well and her father is useless. As for the Mo side of the family, it cannot be counted on. None of them want anything to do with her or Mo Hao, which is not surprising considering all the problems that they have right now. But, you will never believe who her first phone call was for choice of guardian."
His eyes twinkled as he waited for her to guess the name of the last person anyone would expect.
"Don’t tell me that she called Mrs. Xu." Mei Mei made a guess.
Jingzhe laughed, leaning all the way back and pulling himself back at once. "How did you know?"
Mei Mei’s smile was smug. "Was that too hard to guess? It is so easy to see. Tang Yue is shameless and the Xu’s are nice people. I would expect her to call Mrs. Xu before calling Bingwen. They are siblings but their relationship has never been close or good. And lets be honest, she ruined his life to the point where he separated from the family legally. Did he agree to take in the boy?"
"According to your brother, he did but only after he was told that if he didn’t, the child would be sent to an orphanage." Jingzhe sighed. "I hope that he will be able to raise the child into a good person."
Mei Mei recalled the look on Mo Hao’s face just before he pushed her into the table. Did the boy really have a chance at redemption? Would nurture beat nature in his case?
