I Try To Enjoy My Life But This Woman Keep Calling Me Villain-Chapter 63
|3rd POV|
Alexander looks in the distance and sees the enemy slowly marching forward with their siege engine with a frown on his face. The siege engine is a lot more than he thought it was. Many of them are hidden behind the thick forest where the engineer built them, and now Alexander knows the full scale of the enemy force; he knows that he needs to do something.
"My lord"
He snaps from his thoughts when someone walks toward him. He looks to the left and sees Jullian looking at him with determination in the young man’s eyes.
"Jullian? What is it?"
"My lord, I know this is the opposite of your direct order, and I know that the young master will scold me for this, but I have a plan."
Alexander looks at him for a few seconds and says. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"Speak."
Jullian nods and shows him the pendant Gwyn gave to him and the others.
"This is the [Pendant of Flight], my lord. The other twenty soldiers that came with the young master also have this pendant."
"What is your plan?"
"The others who come to the capital volunteer to go and attack the enemy’s backline, my lord. At the moment, we cannot do much damage to their backline with that many groups of mages protecting their war engine. With these pendants, we can fly high to the sky and sneak past the mage to wreak havoc in the enemy’s backline."
Alexander looks at him for a few seconds and thinks about Jullian’s plan. He sighs and says.
"Make sure you come back, Jullian. I don’t think I can find someone more capable than you as my son’s knight."
"Of course, my lord!"
"Use the back door. We don’t want them to notice you and your group. I will tell the other captain to take your position temporarily."
"Yes! Thank you, my lord! I will not disappoint you!"
Alexander nods and sees Jullian jump down to tell the other the good news.
After a few more seconds of preparation, Jullian and the twenty people quickly go north and use the northern gate to take off to the sky. However, as they reach the northern gate, they see someone they thought they would not see.
"Jullian."
The person in front of them is Gwyndolin, who does not look pleased with Jullian’s plan.
"Young master... if you want to forbid us from going, I’m sorry. Lord Alexander approves of my plan. I cannot stop now."
Instead of answering, Gwyn takes a deep breath, and suddenly, twenty-one armor sets and swords appear from the small black hole next to him. After that, he walks past Jullian and the others. When he is a few meters away from them, Gwyn stops and says.
"Make sure to come back."
Jullian and the others look at their young master, who gives them kindness only a saint can give, and bow.
"Thank you, young master! We will come back!"
Gwyn only raises his left hand and waves it. He knows he cannot stop them from going, they are too stubborn to be stopped, but it doesn’t mean he cannot help them. He is a Support Player; he will ensure his party members survive any battle.
After bowing, they have a new determination in their eyes. Now they have a new goal in this war. Previously, they only wanted to wreak havoc on the enemy backline, but now they added one more goal. Survive and return to their young master.
They quickly put on the armor and take the sword their young master gave to them. These armors and weapons are not rare, but they are not common either. These armors come from a level 100 monster and add a lot of HP to the wearer. Not only that, but these armors also add quite a bit of resistance against magic.
As for the weapons, these come from a level 120 monster that boosts the holder’s STR a little and has high cutting and stabbing damage to the enemy.
After Jullian and his group put on the armor, they can feel themselves stronger. They look at their body in amazement, and their admiration for their young master increases tenfold as they think Gwyn makes these armors and weapons.
When the preparation is done, they quickly fly high into the sky, hiding among the clouds. They quickly fly to the enemy’s backline and see the siege engines already firing their ammunition at the wall.
With a thought, Jullian and his group descend from the sky and land next to the trebuchet and catapult.
The enemy captain looks at them in surprise and confusion before shouting an order to attack Jullian and his group.
However, while they are outnumbered, Jullian and his group are not outmatched. This group of people are the people who train with Gwyn in his noble duty. They train with a maniac like Jullian, while Gwyn ensures they gain 100% of their training effort by feeding them potions and healing their wounds with spells that rejuvenate them so they can train more.
And combine it with the equipment they have; they are a formidable opponent.
So it is a surprise to the enemy captain when they see a group of twenty-one people butchering a hundred soldiers easily. What makes matters worse, after destroying the trebuchet and catapult of one unit, Jullian and his group quickly fly to the other one.
Charles Vortigern frowns at the sight before him. He quickly notices Jullian and his group wreaking havoc in their backline after they destroy the third Siege Engines unit. Charles has already sent two hundred of his personal elite unit to chase after them, but when they get close, Jullian and his group take to the sky, then Wreak Havoc in the location far away from the elite unit chasing them.
Charles knows his group cannot catch them and needs his talent to ensure that the group does not cause more trouble to his backline.
However, as he is about to use his talent, a young man runs to him and shouts.
"My Lord Commander! My Lord Commander! Bad News! Bad News!"
Charles looks at the runner and says.
"Report! What is the bad news?!"
"My lord! Look to the west! West!"
He frowns and looks at his spymaster, who nods. The hooded man claps his hand, and suddenly the image in front of him swift into the western part of the battlefield. Charles snarls when he sees the banner that flies above the three hundred people.
The banner has a symbol of a Silver Wolf snarling on the black background.
Charles knows that symbol. He fought them in the past and knows how powerful that symbol is on the battlefield. As an ally, they can be people who can bring victory in the war. As enemies, they can be a headache to any general.
He once again snarls when he sees the people underneath the banner of the Silver Wolf attacking his people.
"Silver Wolf! That damned mercenary joined the enemy! Fuck!"
