His soul-Chapter 392: Visiting Grandma’s Grave
"What’s your reason for going back to that guy? You almost died because of it too, Gina. You’re no longer being coerced by that bad guy, are you? If he’s still forcing your will on you better talk to Diego, Diego will help you, Gina. "
Gina smiled and shook her head slowly at Rosa’s words. "Massimo isn’t as bad as you think, Rosa."
"Gina!"
"The incident five years ago was my fault, sorry if everyone has to be affected by this irresponsible act."
Rosa immediately grabbed Gina’s hand and gripped it tightly. "Don’t be afraid, Gina. Our family is much stronger now, Massimo del Cano can’t put pressure on Daddy anymore. All the land that belongs to our family has gone back to Daddy, so if you want to leave or let go of that man then now is the time. move on with your life again without having to suffer the pain of accompanying that man, Gina. He’s a dangerous man."
"Massimo returned all our family land titles?"
Rose nodded quickly. "Yeah, that’s why you don’t need to stay by his side anymore, Gina."
"I couldn’t have left him that easily, Rosa."
"Why?" asked Rosa quickly trying to read the expression on Gina’s face.
Gina turned her head, staring at Massimo and Martin who were having a serious conversation in the house. Even though she only saw Massimo through the mirror, Gina could feel the aura that Massimo gave off, an aura that made everyone afraid of him.
Seeing that Gina turned her gaze towards Massimo made Rosa scream loudly enough to make Gina focus on herself again.
"What is it?"
"Y-you like it?"
Gina smiled. "It could be."
"Gina, I’m serious!"
"I’m serious too, Rosa."
"Since when? I mean you couldn’t have liked that guy for long, could you?"
Gina smiled faintly, but didn’t have the slightest intention of answering Rosa’s question. Gina let Rosa get the answer to her own question, Gina was sure Rosa was smart enough to know that.
"You’ve been chatting for a long time?" Massimo protested in annoyance. "Can’t we talk at home?"
"See, this childish attitude is what makes it difficult for me to let go, Rosa," Gina said softly to Rosa before finally getting up from the chair and walking towards Massimo who was wearing his hips not far from the door.
"What time do you want to leave for the tomb?" asked Massimo again.
"Right now, Rosa?"
Rosa, who was still sitting, immediately stuttered when Gina said her name to answer Massimo’s question. Rosa couldn’t help but agree with Gina’s words because she couldn’t stand the murderous stare that Massimo gave her.
"Then hurry up and get ready, you have to wear thick clothes. It’s already autumn, the wind is quite cold," said Massimo softly.
Without arguing, Gina nodded slowly at the order Massimo had just given her, not wanting to make Massimo wait long, Gina rushed up to her room to get ready. The room where it all started when she began to feel the seeds of love for Massimo a few years ago.
Since Gina had gone up to the second floor, Massimo then approached Rosa who was already standing beside the chair he had just used to sit.
"I hope you don’t tell my wife anything bad, sister-in-law," said Massimo quietly.
"Sister-in-law? Who are you calling sister-in-law? I’m not your sister-in-law!" said Rosa curtly, her anger at Massimo not gone even though five years had passed.
"You are Georgina’s sister and Georgina is my wife, so legally you are my sister-in-law, Rosaline," Massimo explained expressionlessly.
Rosa snorted. "You are not Gina’s husband, you are a bad man who has messed with our family. Since your appearance at that time all misfortunes have appeared in our family one by one, you even made Gina almost die. Haven’t forgotten about Gina’s condition when she was in the hospital when that?"
Massimo clenched his fists, holding back the emotions that had risen to his chest. "Gina and I have agreed to forget what happened that time, so I ask you not to discuss it again because it is an internal matter for me and Gina as husband and wife. And if you blame me for all the events that happened to your family it was a big mistake, you should be grateful thank me because thanks to my help your business continues even though many new hotels and resorts have sprung up. One day when the time comes you will know the kindness that I have done to protect you from this ignorant person."
Rosa locked her lips, not answering Massimo’s words. Rosa really couldn’t imagine what it was like to be Gina who had to stay by Massimo’s side for twenty-four hours straight.
Rosa’s suffering finally ended when Gina returned. Gina wore a nude trench coat that made her look very elegant. A smile full of pride immediately appeared on Massimo’s face seeing Gina’s appearance, Gina is really beautiful in clothes like that.
"Come on Rosa, you have to get ready too," Gina said softly with a smile.
"Y-yes, wait a minute okay. I’ll get ready first." Rosa stammered a little to answer Gina’s words before finally running into the house leaving Massimo and Gina looking confused.
Seeing the way Rosa ran into the house made Gina frown. "What have you told her?"
"Nothing, I didn’t say anything to her. All I did was answer a few simple questions."
"Really? But why does Rosa look so scared like that?"
Massimo shrugged his shoulders. "I don’t know. Well, let’s go to the front yard, it looks like Pablo and the others are ready, let your sister catch up with us."
Gina obediently followed Massimo to the front yard, where all of Massimo’s men were ready in black luxury cars that did not belong to the Sanders family. Five minutes later Rosa appeared from behind the door, instead of wearing a trench coat like her sister Rosa prefers to use a fur scarf that is thick enough to protect her neck. Seeing Rosa coming closer, Massimo then took Gina into the car.
Not long after that the three cars started leaving the Sanders family residence, in the car Massimo didn’t let go of Gina’s waist at all even though Gina changed her position several times because she felt uncomfortable. Seeing how Massimo treated Gina along the way made Rosa confused, all she knew was that Massimo was the type of man who couldn’t live with just one woman, a man who didn’t want a bond in marriage.
"It seems that what Diego said all along was wrong." Rosa spoke to herself.
As a grown woman, Rosa knew that Massimo’s attitude towards Gina was not far-fetched. The way Massimo looked at Gina, kept her close beside him and watched every word Gina said made Rosa feel that Massimo really loved Gina.
When the car started to slow down because it was almost at the graveyard area, Gina’s eyes suddenly felt hot, her memory returned to six years ago where at that time she had to lose her grandmother who loved her so tragically.
"Grandma, I’m coming."
