He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 467. Strategy of Absence 1
A figure covered in snow flakes was calmly seated on the summit of a mountain peak.
The mountain was like a sentinel that overwatched the surrounding forests.
Extreme fog had clouded the region as traces of daylight swept across the serene mountain peak.
Suddenly, he opened his eyes.
Four months had gone by in a flash in the simulation.
Kailen had been in a secluded training in this region for the last four months.
Based on the information he had gotten from the vampire Lieutenant from Ascorn's team, the vampire army stationed to target Xorvania was supposed to launch a second assault on Xorvania three months ago.
But they didn't attack.
Obviously, Kailen's victory over the vampires on the moon of Xorvania had dealt a huge blow to their manpower of the vampire army aimed for conquering Xorvania.
This four month period was a time for them to reinforce themselves and rethink their strategies.
Kailen knew they had obviously watched the feed of the battle on the moon.
Because of this, he was certain they knew his shadow creatures could not die, as long as he was alive.
And they were preparing for any surprises he could pull again.
The vampires were definitely not dumb, and most likely could guess that he had other trump cards under his sleeves.
There was no way they would underestimate him again.
They would definitely go for the kill order on him the moment they see him.
So he had to prepare as much as possible.
"The Simulation has been extremely beneficial.
The sense of urgency concerning the upcoming clash with the vampires have stimulated me to cultivate madly.
I managed to not only break through to the galactic level, but I managed to break into rank 3 beginner stage galactic level.
My spiritual power has broken through to the beginner stage galactic level.
That means I have the spiritual power of a rank 1 runesmith.
I can use runesmithery that can affect those at the beginner stage galactic level.
It would have been great if I were to receive comprehensive knowledge of runesmithery, level 2 now.
That would have boosted my understanding of runesmithery to an entirely different level.
But, I can still make use of the knowledge of runesmithery I have for a lot of things.
Coupled with my abilities as a rank 1 Black Flask, things will be quite interesting on the battlefield.
Also I now have 4000 shadow creatures at my disposal, all at the rank 4 beginner stage galactic level.
I will only have to personally step on the battlefield unless absolutely necessary."
A glint of ruthlessness flashed through Kailen's eyes.
"They watched the feed of the battle, so they heard me ask for information from the lieutenant, so they've considered the fact that I'm aware of their plans.
These vampires saw how I sacrificed human soldiers to win a battle.
Due to these two reasons, they will definitely abort the plan she mentioned.
They won't directly use a teleportation gate to enter the city, and start killing citizens.
They will be wary and think I will use the citizens of the city to set up an ambush for them.
That means the terrain of the battle will shift completely.
However, they need the supplies and resources on this planet, apart from humans, for their sustenance.
That means they will most likely anticipate that I know that, and that I will try to get rid of the resources in the forest to lead them to a disadvantage.
They will be observing in the shadows for me to make this move.
I will do a little bit of that, to make them think they read me like a book.
They will then make an appearance to get rid of me, then, I will start attacking them."
Kailen quickly made use of a rank 1 invisibility rune to stay invisible.
He quickly took out an invisibility elixir he had made and drunk it.
This made his invisibility more effective, masking his presence completely from any beginner stage galactic level lifeform.
"Come out."
Kailen instructed the shadow creatures to make an appearance.
Aboout two thousand and something shadow creatures made an appearance.
They were the exact number Kailen had used in the battle on the moon.
The shadow creatures moved towards the forest.
"If there is someone at the intermediate stage galactic level, there is a high possibility that they will be able to see through my invisibility."
Kailen moved extremely far away from the region.
With his masked presence, still invisible, he left the planet completely.
Currently, he was in a cave he had dug somewhere underground on the moon of the planet.
The shadow creatures started launching various attacks towards the forest region.
Various flora and fauna were included in the attacks and were completely wiped out.
This however did not affect the whole forest.
Kailen had just used the shadow creatures to destroy just a small portion of the forest.
As he was patiently observing everything through the eyes of the shadow creatures, large fleets of ships made an appearance above the forest regions.
Several vampires, males and females holding different weapons, radiating different auras and clothed in different battlesuits, stepped out of the ships.
Kailen observed them.
4100 vampires.
A particular individual commanding the army stood out.
He had crimson hair, crimson eyes, and a muscular build.
He was not too handsome.
He has a manly face.
The fellow was clothed in some sort of exotic looking battlesuit.
His eyes scanned the region for a while, and a light smirk graced his lips.
"As you predicted, Commander. Everything is going according to plan," his lieutenant said.
"Hold off his undying army as much as you can and find him.
Use every resource available.
Activate the runes across the region.
Even if he wants to escape, he can't.
Since his creatures are here, he's in the vicinity."
The leaders of the army nodded to his words, and got to work.
Attacks were launched at the shadow creatures over and over again.
However they kept dying and coming back to life.
This was not surprising to vampires.
They were prepared for this as they had Intel on Kailen.
They didn't try that vampire arts Ascorn tried the last time because of how it ended the last time.
Cataclysmic exchanges resounded concurrently.
"The leader of the army in addition to a few others lieutenants are intermediate stage galactic level lifeforms.
Good thing I took precaution and bolted," Kailen observed.
"I may not be able to get rid of the leader and the lieutenants, but the rest is pretty much easy.
Without their army, it's literally a defeat.
Also, concerning the leader and his lieutenants.." A glint flashed through his eyes " That could work.
Let's get to work."
