She was in a dilemma now, after everything that had happened in her life she had decided to never rely on anyone.
Even her parents never saw her as more than a tool so whom could she even trust... but for her daughter’s safety she was willing to make any kind of sacrifices.
Could she really just go to the shelter and hope for the best? Wouldn’t it be equivalent to playing a gamble with her daughter’s safety, even if the chances were high that the shelter would accept her with respect due to her status of being an evolver with a good skill.

Lukas smiled when he heard that, this meant she had already decided to say yes, just as he was about to tell her something he saw a lot of dead walkers in an open field near a farmhouse and stopped immediately and hid the car behind a big bush.
"Let’s talk a little later shall we..."

Catherine had also seen the zombies and she got stunned too, there were just too many in the field. Not only human zombies but she for the first time saw animal zombies.
"Stay here..." Lukas only wanted to bring her to pursue her he didn’t need her help in just observing the anomaly these dead walkers were showing.
He left the car and Catherine just listened to him and stayed inside.
Lukas moved slowly while hiding himself to the bush on the road. When he came close he saw that all the dead walkers were standing while looking at the farmhouse, there were two destroyed vehicles near the house.
’What the hell is going on’ He really couldn’t figure out why they were behaving like this, as if they were controlled like puppets.
He thought for a moment and picked a rock beside him and threw it near the back line of the dead walkers while hiding.
THUDD!
"Screee!"
"Sreeeeee!"
"Grrrrhhhhh!"

Lukas heard sounds of dead walkers getting alerted and when he peeked out, he saw that the dead walkers had gone to look for the impact location.
At least this meant that they could move around and were still acting like real dead walkers.
Suddenly he saw a dead walker coming out of the house and got shocked seeing it. Its size was bigger than any dead walker he had seen, probably nine feet and it looked quite buffed up in physique.
All the dead walkers quieted down and lowered their heads.
"Graaaww..."
The sound from the big dead walker was deep and intimidating.
Lukas got stunned seeing everything, now he knew why all these dead walkers were acting like this. They were just followers or being controlled by this big dead walker.
’What the actual fuck, this bastard definitely is above level 3. Don’t tell me higher level dead walkers can subdue lower level ones to do their bidding?
If it was true then the threat from dead walkers is far more dangerous than he had assumed it to be.
’Should I attack?’ He was in a real dilemma now. He had Sanctified Pulse so there was a chance that he would be able to pull this off but killing all those dead walkers would definitely exhaust him.
After that it would be almost impossible to fight this dead walker whose level was probably 4.
Dead walkers gain more physical growth than evolvers as they don’t have skills so facing it while exhausted was not something he wanted even while wielding the bow.
’Fuck it, no need to take unnecessary risk right now.’
He really didn’t want to take a risk when everyone’s lives depended on him. He would rather open the full potential of the shop and see how many advantages he had to survive this apocalypse.
He slowly backed off while taking cover of the bush and made his way to his car. He had stopped it far enough so that its engine sound didn’t alarm them.
After coming back he entered inside and slowly drove back before turning it around and driving back to the city, he was a little faster but eventually slowed down a lot enjoying the breeze and decided to answer her question from before.
Before he could ask though, he heard her voice.
"Y-you found anything?" After the car went behind the bush she wasn’t able to see anything.
"They all are being submissive to a dea—a big zombie which was definitely level four. I don’t know how it was controlling them but it is what it is..."
Catherine felt a chill hearing level four, she never imagined that zombies had reached that high in level so quickly. If they had waited any longer would that zombie have attacked their camp, she dreaded the thought of it.
Lukas continued, "About the question of your daughter, I can only promise you this, I would never force her to do anything against her will"
Catherine came out of her thoughts when she heard that and closed her eyes slowly before opening them and looking towards the passing trees.
This was more than enough but she didn’t know if she could trust his words or not... maybe he would go back on his words... sigh if she thought that way then nowhere was safe in this world, "Alright that will do..."
Her voice was filled with tiredness but saying those words removed a lot of pressure from her. Maybe trading her body for emotional peace wasn’t a bad idea at all.
Lukas felt his cock waking up at the thought of pinning this milf beneath him...

Catherine sighed inwardly, she had already decided so she didn’t want to think much on it to only torment herself, "Yes"
Lukas’s breath quickened slightly, he was lusting for her the moment he saw her. He wanted to stop his car right now to bang her but it wasn’t the right decision, those dead walkers might come this way.
There was no doubt that the big dead walker was going to start its own crusade once it felt like it.
Who would have thought that level 4 would make a dead walker sane enough to make decisions. This was definitely going to be a pain in the ass situation for all the survivors.
’Oh well, he should just help them shift fast...’ He removed the lust from his head and sped up.
Soon they reached the camp, "Ask everyone to pack up, we are leaving in 10 minutes"
Catherine nodded and went inside the camp.
Lukas finally opened his status, he was a little eager to see the shop section.

He clicked open the catalogue and got stunned seeing the categories and there was even a search bar to search items and unlisted categories.
As he went through the already shown categories, he got totally excited.
