Global Lords: I Have Information System-Chapter 309 - 267: New Defense Building, Tower Defense Prince Xiaowang
The Dwarf Race's [Rune Tower] requires a dedicated operator. Other than that, its attributes are average; not too low, but not too high either.
Among the Race series defense towers, the Human Race's [Elemental Arrow Tower] series is considered relatively balanced. Besides that, Zong Shen is also interested in the Elite Race's [Tree Spirit Guardian] series and the Demon Race's [Tower of Chaos] series.
Zong Shen also examined other unique defense towers; the [Magic Tower] needs no further explanation, as it randomly casts magic attacks. The blueprints for the [Magic Tower] available for exchange come pre-filled with runes of three elements by default.
The [Tower of Thunder] is also part of the defense tower series, with a group chain lightning magic attack. The chain lightning can bounce around targets nearby, up to five targets, dealing 121~124 magic damage and comes with a 0.75-second paralysis effect. Its attack frequency is relatively long at 25 seconds, and its range isn't far either. Even the [Tier Four Thunder Tower] only has a range of 500 meters, while Tier One is only 350 meters.
But even so, the damage efficiency remains considerable, especially against large enemy groups, a round of chain lightning can deal a total damage of 605~620 points.
The [Moon Blade Tower], as the name suggests, attacks by firing a massive bouncing Moon Blade. It can bounce up to five times, with each bounce decreasing damage by 25%, and also applies an armor-piercing effect, reducing enemy armor value by 15% for 10 seconds. Its attack frequency is once every 15 seconds, which is lower than that of the [Tower of Thunder], but significantly higher than a typical [Elemental Arrow Tower]. Its shooting range is quite far, with the [Tier Four Moon Blade Tower] reaching 1250 meters, and Tier One being 500 meters.
This tower also belongs to the group attack type, suitable to pair with the [Tower of Thunder], bringing physical and magical attacks to complement each other, coordinating long and short ranges, and achieving a layered kill strategy.
The [Giant Crossbow Tower] is categorized as high-damage type. The [Tier Four Crossbow Tower] has a shooting range of up to 4000 meters, capable of firing a giant crossbow with 188~191 piercing damage. It can target up to three enemy targets, with each subsequent damage decreasing by 30%. Additionally, the crossbow's damage to siege engines and buildings increases by 30%. Its attack frequency is also once every 15 seconds. Moreover, the Crossbow Tower can enter [Sniper Mode] to manually select targets, with accuracy decreasing with distance.
This range can basically cover the enemy's backline, targeting magical energy mechas and siege machines brought by the enemies, boasting exceptionally high piercing attack power, and providing significant damage bonuses to mechanical and building units, making it a highly targeted arrow tower.
Regarding the [Holy Light Tower], it is a semi-support type defense tower. The [Tier Four Holy Light Tower] descends a Lv20 Holy Light Healing every 30 seconds, healing ten allies within a 500-meter range, restoring a total of 800 life value over 10 seconds. If there are enemy units from the Undead Race within the range, it would deal a total of 800 Holy Light Damage to ten of those enemies.
This effectively serves like having a stationary High Priest, with a total healing amount reaching 1600 per minute, providing additional killing effects against Undead enemies, significantly boosting combat endurance during intense battles.
As for the [Necromancer Tower], it's quite unique, with its sole attack feature being summoning skeletons. The [Tier Four Death Spirit Tower] possesses an Lv20 Summon Skeleton skill, capable of randomly summoning four Lv20 Skeleton Warriors/Archers/Mages. The summoning frequency is once per minute, with skeletons having a duration of ten minutes, allowing for a stack of up to 40 skeletons at maximum.
This defense tower leans towards being a support type, with its output relying entirely on summoned creatures, rendering damage numbers somewhat unstable. Additionally, encountering strong exorcism magic could greatly impact the summoned creatures; however, they also have their advantages, such as absorbing damage, or being fearless, able to share the frontline pressure.
The abundance of new defense tower varieties left Zong Shen feeling overwhelmed. In addition to defense towers, there were many other defense structures as well.
Examples include [Poisoned Thorns Net], [Ice Trap], [Goblin Landmine], [Tough Tripwire], [Iron Thorns], and [Heavy Beast Trap], which are auxiliary defense items.
Zong Shen needed to choose carefully, as each specialty arrow tower had a purchase limit, with only four purchase slots available for each tier, regardless of which tier was purchased. Race towers had no purchase restrictions, being available on a daily basis.
For instance, in Zong Shen's Territory, the Elemental Arrow Towers are available, while in Ah Ze's Territory, there are Orc-styled Armored Arrow Towers.
Thus, this time Zong Shen set his exchange target on these specialty arrow towers.
All Tier Four Arrow Towers had an exchange price of 3500 points each.
After careful consideration, Zong Shen finalized this exchange list.
He exchanged two [Tower of Thunder], three [Moon Blade Tower], two [Giant Crossbow Tower], three [Holy Light Tower], and one [Death Spirit Tower], totaling eleven specialty arrow towers, exchanged all at Tier Four in one step. The relevant upgrade blueprints for these special arrow towers are hard to come by, unlike Race Arrow Towers which have distinct regional characteristics.
The future upgrades will be a hassle, so Zong Shen opted to directly exchange for Tier Four, ensuring they won't fall behind, and all are complete buildings, eliminating the need for material collection efforts.
As for other auxiliary defense building items, he didn't exchange them, spending a total of 38500 points here.
He now has 9869 points left, having exchanged for a hefty eleven Tier Four specialty arrow towers, making Zong Shen the undisputed Tower Defense Little Prince, continually advancing towards his dream of fortifying his giant city fortress!
He closed the [Defense Blueprint] category and opened [Support Items].
This category is loaded with healing items, as well as various cold-resistant, warming, cooling, and heat-relieving tools.
This time, Zong Shen's wallet is healthy, with ample capital; he first bought 100 sets of [Ordinary Hemostatic Bandage] at a cost of 1500 points, as they are used frequently in recent battles.
He then purchased 10 [Healing Guards] at a cost of 1000 points.
Beyond this, he spent 300 points to buy 5 [Antitoxic Pills] and another 500 points for 5 [Healing Powders]. In total, Zong Shen used 2800 points in support items.
Zong Shen now has 6569 points left, saving them for a chance at the [Points Lottery], believing it's good to try his luck once in a while, although it's not something to indulge in.
While picking and choosing, three minutes of time-stop remain, enough for Zong Shen to enjoy the lottery a few times. He's curious about any new changes this time.
Zong Shen closed [Support Items] and opened the [Points Lottery] option.
[Thrilling and Exciting Wheel of Fortune]
[Spend 500/1000 points to spin the needle and obtain a random item]
[The Wheel of Fortune has no limits on reward upper and lower bounds, nor limits on reward types]
[1000 points level has been added, significantly raising the minimum rewards, and reducing the chances of obtaining useless items]
[The higher the quality and rarity of the item, the lower the chances of obtaining it]
[Click to select the point consumption level, and start drawing]
(Ah, it's once again the time for gamblers' feast, with a whole new level added this time. It's worth trying luck here, as the prize pool is nearly infinite, and with good fortune, one might obtain extinct items)
The notes for the Points Lottery remain immensely tempting. Previously, Zong Shen made several draws and got one or two interesting items.
He now possesses eleven powerful special Tier Four Defense Towers to protect his territory, practically ensuring nothing could go wrong.
This time, with over 6000 points remaining, he plans to throw them all into the lottery, playing for sheer luck and excitement!
