Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era-Chapter 75: The Heavenly Judgment had just begun....
Logically, it was the Dao Executor who hunted the Devourers but this one had come looking for him instead.
"Shit..." He clenched his teeth.
BaiShe let out a melodious laugh devoid of any humanity.
He took a step forward, and the ground beneath his feet cracked under the pressure of the Chaotic Qi.
"You are slow to understand, Lord Huojin."
"The Dao gave you the memories of your predecessors, but it forgot to give you the intelligence necessary to use them correctly. You are nothing but a mediocre vessel for a power you do not deserve."
Huojin, stung in his immense pride, roared with rage.
He refused to give in to terror and channeled all his Law Master authority.
On his forehead, the Yin-Yang symbol shone with a blinding glow as he deployed the
< Domain of the Heavenly Tribunal >
A translucent barrier marked with sacred symbols spread over several hundred meters, trying to impose the will of heaven on the cave.
However, BaiShe did not move an inch. He opened his arms nonchalantly. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
< Arts: Abyss of the Thousand Hungry Hands >
The space behind him began to tear apart in a grotesque manner, revealing an unfathomable darkness.
Hundreds of emaciated arms, with grayish and torn skin, surged from the spatial fissures. The palms of these emaciated limbs were equipped with toothed mouths that snapped in the void with demonic frenzy.
"You are used to these pathetic Devourers, unfortunately for you... I am the Celestial Demon."
The monstrous hands threw themselves at Huojin’s domain. Instead of being repelled by the celestial light, they began to bite into the Qi barrier, literally devouring the Executor’s authority. BaiShe’s Chaotic Qi acted like a corrosive poison, eating away at Huojin’s protections one by one. The Executor watched in horror as his power was absorbed to feed his enemy’s Dantian.
"Fuck!"
< Arts: Vision of Primordial Duality >
He projected a beam of light to purify the atmosphere, but the hands of the abyss intercepted the attack, feeding on the sacred energy with frightening voracity.
BaiShe moved with supernatural fluidity, appearing instantly in front of Huojin. He delivered a punch imbued with oppressive Qi directly into the chosen one’s abdomen. The impact was brutal, sending Huojin crashing against the crystal walls of the cave.
"Gkh!" spat Huojin, blood staining his immaculate white tunic.
He felt his ribs break under the force of the attack.
< Resurrection of the Chosen One’s Flesh >
A golden glow bathed his wounds, closing the flesh and welding the bones in less than a second.
"My body is the vessel of the heavenly will, BaiShe!" shouted Huojin, trying to regain his vigor.
"As long as the Dao supports me, I am immortal against your lowly attacks!"
"Let’s see about that!"
He gave his prey no respite. He swooped down on Huojin again, his speed surpassing the understanding of an ordinary cultivator.
He began to break the Executor’s limbs methodically, each crack of bone echoing against the walls of the cave.
Huojin’s divine regeneration worked at full capacity, but it could not keep up with the pace of destruction imposed by the Devourer.
"Your regeneration is nothing but entertainment for me, you are the perfect punching bag," declared BaiShe as he slammed Huojin to the ground, destroying his last spiritual protections.
"You are a valuable resource, Lord Huojin. A bank of luck points that has waited too long to be harvested."
The Executor was cornered, his face covered in blood and dust, his heterochromatic gaze filled with total incomprehension in the face of such power.
’The Dao Executor was really pathetic, I expected more...’
The reason why Huojin was getting crushed so badly was simple. Instead of training, he prioritized quick perception. Even if one has the skill of an art, it does not mean one can use it to its full potential.
BaiShe understood that it was time to end this game. He extended his right hand toward the spatial void that tore open in front of him.
He plunged his arm into the abyss and pulled out a blade made of bone, resembling a spine: the Draconic Bone Sword. BaiShe raised the blade above his head, the tip pointed at Huojin’s heart.
"I am disappointed in you... Pathetic..."
Just before the blade pierced the chosen one’s chest, a column of black flames suddenly burst out between BaiShe and his prey.
The heat of the attack was so intense that it seemed to consume even the oxygen in the cave, leaving behind a smell of sulfur.
Long Huang intervened, her gothic silhouette illuminated by a demonic glow. BaiShe had to jump backward.
"Huh? What are you doing."
Without the slightest hesitation, she swooped down on the Executor with a speed beyond comprehension. Her black-gloved hand, surrounded by fire Yin Qi, plunged directly into Huojin’s abdomen. The crack of broken ribs was clear, but the Executor did not even have time to scream.
< Arts: Combustion of Draconic Pride >
Columns of black flames burst from Huojin’s body. Unlike ordinary fire, these flames emitted no physical heat; they directly consumed the victim’s soul.
In a few seconds, the Dao’s chosen one was nothing but an empty shell, his heterochromatic eyes extinguishing definitively as he fell to the ground.
BaiShe frowned, a cold fury crossing his silver pupils. He took a step toward the dragoness, his hands clasped behind his back, but his Qi began to boil dangerously.
"Are you aware of what you just did, Dragoness?" he asked.
"You stole my prey. Do you think your karmic bond with me authorizes such insubordination?"
Long Huang turned toward him, her face marked by a bitter melancholy that she tried to mask behind her usual arrogance. She wiped a drop of black blood from her lip before fixing him coldly.
"Do not be stupid, BaiShe," she retorted. "His fortune is far too high... Do you think killing the Dao Executor is without consequences?"
She pointed at the sky with her finger.
"This one possessed a direct blessing from Heaven. Killing such a chosen one with your own hands, with your Devourer body, would amount to lighting a time bomb in your own Dantian. The karma linked to such an act would have annihilated you before you could even stabilize his Qi."
BaiShe was about to reply when a deafening rumble tore through the sky, a vibration so powerful that it caused the last standing columns of the sanctuary to collapse.
The Heavenly Judgment had just begun....
