Dual Cultivation: I Summon Villainesses of Mythic Era-Chapter 74: It was you from the beginning! You filthy piece of shit!
Huojin let out a contemptuous laugh.
Armed with the memories of his predecessors, he saw in BaiShe everything he hated: the arrogance of a heir born with a silver spoon, convinced that his status as a noble from the Upper Realm gave him every right.
"You talk too much," cut in Huojin, his permanent half-smile deepening.
"You probably think your Xuan lineage gives you every right. But before the Executor, you are nothing but dust on the path to divinity. Do you think I am stupid enough not to see your vile thoughts?"
"You came to steal my inheritance, didn’t you? Like all those ambitious young masters who think they can take what heaven has reserved for me..."
"Steal? What a vulgar accusation," retorted BaiShe, adjusting his monocle again. "I simply came to observe. It is rare to see a chosen one up close... especially one as full of himself."
Huojin’s expression hardened instantly. He had no more patience for the words of the one he considered an insect.
"Enough jokes. Kneel," ordered Huojin in a voice that made the cave walls tremble.
< Law: Decree of the Dao Executor’s Submission >
With a simple downward palm gesture, he imposed an invisible shockwave of pure authority.
The pressure of the Dao fell on BaiShe like the weight of a mountain, seeking to break his will and force him to prostrate himself physically.
The air around the young master compressed, the ground beneath his feet beginning to crack under the spiritual strain.
"Do not complain that I am correcting you for your impudence!"
Yet, to Huojin’s great surprise, BaiShe did not move an inch.
His Immortal Sage lineage pulsed calmly, filtering the pressure and maintaining his inner serenity. His face remained a mask of impartiality, his silver eyes fixing the Executor with insulting indifference.
"How...?" stammered Huojin, his brows furrowing.
"How can a mere Law Master resist my authority? Even an Overlord should have bent the knee!"
"Authority is not imposed by brute force, Lord Huojin. It is earned through wisdom, and it so happens that I possess the purest Xuan lineage," replied BaiShe in a calm voice.
On one hand, BaiShe wanted to avoid Zhi Mei’s arrival, who was fortunately absent, but if these villainesses had finished their fights it would be much easier to kill this arrogant piece of shit.
Huojin growled, a spark of pure rage crossing his heterochromatic pupils. He could not stand seeing his attacks fail, especially with an ego as fragile as his.
"Impudent! Since you refuse to bend by law, you will perish by the elements!" shouted the Executor.
< Arts: Winter Blaze of Purple Lightning >
It was a terrifying display of power, a divine-level technique inherited from the ancient executors.
Columns of scarlet flames burst from the ground while tips of eternal ice materialized in the air, all traversed by arcs of purple lightning that tore through the atmosphere with sharp whistles.
The mixture of fire, frost and electricity rushed toward BaiShe, seeking to devour his defenses and consume him entirely.
The repeated shockwaves caused gaping cracks in the precious crystals of the cave. Dust and spiritual debris rose in swirls, almost completely masking the two fighters. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
BaiShe finally reacted, taking his hands out from behind his back to execute a graceful gesture.
< Arts: Illusory Swords >
Hundreds of translucent blades, composed of silver Qi, appeared instantly around him.
"Idiot! Do you realize you are attacking the chosen one?"
The swords swirled with prodigious speed, forming a shimmering shield that deflected the flames and sliced through the ice spikes.
Yet, in Huojin’s eyes, BaiShe seemed rather pathetic. Every time one of BaiShe’s illusory swords came into contact with the Executor’s purple lightning, it seemed to vibrate violently before dissipating, forcing the young master to manifest new ones constantly.
’He is getting exhausted... his cultivation base is too unstable to maintain such a defense against my original power,’ thought Huojin with growing jubilation.
Huojin was now floating above the Golden Jade Lake, drawing from the surrounding energy to amplify his attacks.
He saw BaiShe retreating step by step, his expression remaining calm, but his breathing seeming to accelerate under the effort.
For the Executor, the outcome was not in doubt: he was the absolute master of this domain, and the intruder was no match.
"You see, Xuan BaiShe? This is where your story ends!" shouted Huojin, raising both hands toward the zenith to prepare his finishing blow.
"Your so-called wisdom is nothing in the face of the will of the chosen one! I will erase you from this world..."
He began to condense a sphere of binary energy, half black and half white, an attack capable of purifying or destroying everything it touched for kilometers. The light emanating from it was blinding.
It was at that precise moment that BaiShe’s gaze changed.
The polite smile he had worn from the beginning disappeared, replaced by a predatory expression.
His silver pupils began to tint with a malicious violet, while the sclera of his eyes turned to absolute black. An aura of abyssal blackness began to escape from his pores, mixing with his usual Qi to form a chaotic and corrosive mist that instantly caused the spiritual crystals at his feet to wither.
’You talk about balance and justice, Huojin... but you are no different from me, all selfish...’ thought BaiShe as his Omega Heart began to beat.
Without using his true form he could not kill him, now that he had a glimpse of his power.
Huojin, too busy with his own technique, did not immediately perceive the change in his opponent’s nature. He was too convinced by his own legend to notice that the lamb he thought he was leading to the slaughter had just shown its wolf fangs.
"Die, vermin!" shouted Huojin as he hurled his sphere of light.
His silver hair turned deep black, an darkness that seemed to absorb the surrounding light.
The atmosphere of the cave changed radically. The air became heavy, charged with an overwhelming spiritual pressure, making breathing difficult under the effect of the Chaotic Qi emanating from BaiShe’s body which easily absorbed the previously launched attack.
"You!!!"
Huojin felt his blood run cold.
As an Executor, this energy signature was horribly familiar to him. His confidence, until then unshakable, wavered violently. He instantly understood that BaiShe’s respectful attitude had only been a staging to test his own limits.
"Fucking Devourer!??", stammered Huojin, his voice betraying deep shock.
"It was you from the beginning! YOU FILTHY PIECE OF SHIT!"
