It turned out the first button on her raincoat wasn’t fastened, and it came loose when she turned around!

Earlier, she was too excited and anxious, focusing solely on checking on Uncle and neglecting herself!

"Alright, let’s go!" Mu Beiting put the rain hood on her and led her towards the back of the waterfall.

As they stepped into the cave behind the waterfall, Ye Anxin only felt a buzzing in her ears—filled with the sound of rushing water and a strong wind blowing from who knows where!

The wind was strong and mixed with rain; the ground was completely wet. As Ye Anxin walked, she felt as if she might be blown away by the wind. The rain was painful on her face, completely different from normal rain!

Mu Beiting kept close behind Ye Anxin the whole time, his gaze never leaving her!

The waterfall was large, and the area behind it even larger.

Once inside, Ye Anxin realized that although she had wanted to see the scenery from the outside, now that she was truly inside, she couldn’t even open her eyes and had to squint into small slits, with her vision entirely blurred by water!

After moving some distance from the waterfall, Mu Beiting tore off Ye Anxin’s ’shattered’ raincoat, then his own, and draped his dark red trench coat over her.

Mu Beiting frowned and ordered domineeringly, "Wear it!"

"Oh!" Ye Anxin looked at him timidly and obediently nodded in agreement.

Mu Beiting approached a vendor with a basket and bought a dry towel. Then he came over to Ye Anxin and carefully wiped the water from her face and wet hair,

"Uncle, you were right; we should have come in the summer! It’s just too cold behind the waterfall!" Ye Anxin’s lips were pale, and she couldn’t help shivering. Though she had a great time, she was really cold.

It really was freezing inside, with the wind and rain crashing around, and one could only fear lightning and thunder! It was more ferocious than any storm.

Mu Beiting led Ye Anxin to a pavilion by the bridge, sat down on a stone bench, and then let her sit on his lap! His strong arms wrapped tightly around Ye Anxin, and he continued drying her hair with his other hand.

Feeling the warmth radiating from Mu Beiting, Ye Anxin instantly felt much warmer and with a touch of greed said, "Uncle, you’re so warm!"

Ye Anxin lay quietly in Mu Beiting’s embrace like a well-behaved kitten.

Once Mu Beiting had almost dried her hair, she got out of his embrace, took the towel from him, and started to dry his face and hair.

In fact, she knew that Uncle wasn’t much better off than her! His hair and face were wet! She was cold, and certainly, Uncle was cold too!

She wanted him to dry off first, but she knew Uncle well; once he made a decision, he wouldn’t change it!

Only after she was dry would Uncle start to take care of himself!

So, once her hair was dry, she immediately took the towel to wipe for him.

"Let’s go!" Mu Beiting carefully placed Ye Anxin on the ground, rested his hand on her shoulder, and walked with her outside.

Ye Anxin asked expectantly, "Where are we going? What’s our next stop?"

Mu Beiting replied lightly, "Back to the hotel!"
