Chubby Mommy: Scheming Daddy, Surrender Now!-Chapter 303: Three-Year-Old Sullivan
"Although the design looks perfect now, and I’m sure whichever version is launched will be stunning, I’ve never seen such a design on the market before, so I’m a bit worried about its practicality," Howard expressed his concern.
Setting aside the cost, he wasn’t even sure if he could find a factory in the country capable of producing such bottles.
"You don’t need to worry about the practicality." Sasha Shaw smiled slightly, pulled out two things wrapped in shock-proof paper from her large canvas bag, quickly unwrapped them, and displayed two exquisite figures.
One of them was a little mermaid in the pose of self-destruction using a blade, the expression was extremely tragic and beautiful, differing completely from her design, but the brilliant waves looked just like the real thing!
"I heard the team making this figure tried numerous materials to create the wave effect, eventually achieving the final version we see. So, I think instead of looking for a perfume bottle manufacturer, we should look for a figure manufacturer. The bottles I designed can only be properly highlighted using such craftsmanship."
Ruby Sullivan gave Sasha Shaw a thumbs up.
Being best friends, she knew exactly where Sasha’s thoughts were headed the moment she saw the PPT.
Although she didn’t understand the appeal of these two-dimensional items, she knew Sasha collected various "wives" and "husbands" at home, all of which were treasures. When they first talked about it, Ruby Sullivan also suggested that she consider figure designs.
After all, even "Detective Conan" has collaborative perfumes now, and she hoped this design could help the studio attract clients from different levels.
It’s well-known that two-dimensional merchandise can cost a lot, but the industry is thriving, proving that this consumer group isn’t short on cash. As long as they like it, they’re willing to buy it.
However, this was just a small hope of Ruby Sullivan’s.
Howard took a close look at Sasha’s figure and saw her nervous expression, worried he’d drop it. So he returned it very carefully, "In that case, I can try contacting the relevant manufacturers."
"Usually, figures need to be pre-ordered, and the delivery time is very long, indicating a long production cycle. Plus, we don’t know if the factories can schedule us immediately, so my main concern is the timing." Sasha gave everyone a heads-up.
Ruby Sullivan thought for a moment and asked, "Which one do you all like the most?"
Howard preferred the first one, finding it relatively simple with good symbolism. He felt the bottle could highlight a girl’s fragility, and as a man, he believed every girl deserves to be cherished.
Claire and Tina liked the third one better, ignoring any deeper meanings. The third design was simply astonishing if made, and even if Sasha’s visual effects weren’t stimulating enough, adding that little mermaid figure would completely captivate girls, with the wave itself being incredibly beautiful!
Ruby Sullivan thought aloud, "Actually, I like the second one the best, except the combination of the phoenix and the skirt detracts from its beauty."
She walked over to Sasha’s computer and pulled up the second design, giving her opinion, "Making the bottle into a phoenix spreading its wings would be much better, keeping the flames but transitioning them into a gradual glass-like color, and making the phoenix’s color more luxurious."
Everyone, upon hearing her description, imagined the design in their minds and nodded in agreement.
After all, as Nirvana’s first piece, using a fire phoenix as the bottle was more commemorative.
Sasha jotted down the suggestions, "I’ll modify it here shortly, and after I’m done, we can all review it again."
"But let’s keep the other two designs as well, especially the little mermaid one, I’m particularly fond of it too."
After Sasha finished the revisions, everyone unanimously agreed that the phoenix bottle was the most attractive, so they finalized that design.
However, the modified bottle now required exceptional glass craftsmanship, and after discussion, Howard was assigned to select an appropriate manufacturer, but Ruby wanted him to take all three design drafts to discuss, mainly to assess the bottle’s production cost and time required.
That evening, Ethan Sterling invited everyone for dinner to celebrate the completion of the final design stage for the first perfume. What’s next is to liaise with factories and wait for the perfume to go into production.
Uh, to clarify, Ruby Sullivan was originally supposed to treat everyone to dinner, but Ethan Sterling directly booked a private room at a high-end restaurant partnering with The Sterling Group upon hearing it, and of course, the bill was charged to Ethan Sterling.
Thinking there wasn’t much work left for fragrance formulation, Ruby decided to have Claire and Tina go along to the factories to learn about the whole production process, which would benefit them in the future. Since she’s training them to be her right-hand people, Ruby hoped they would grow quickly through diverse experiences.
Ruby Sullivan was particularly joyful today and even indulged in some wine in the evening.
She couldn’t handle alcohol well, and although it was just a small glass of white wine, she felt a bit tipsy, chattering nonstop about her grand visions for Nirvana’s future all the way through.
Although it sounded somewhat like a pipe dream, given that Nirvana was just starting out, far from climbing the charts and becoming a top-tier brand.
But all great achievements begin with small dreams. Ethan Sterling listened while driving, feeling his wife was indeed a visionary person; he felt he must support her from behind.
With the car’s rhythmic motion, Ruby’s intoxication grew stronger, refusing to get out, pouting playfully, claiming she was too tired to walk.
For the first time, Ethan Sterling witnessed Ms. Sullivan turning into Three-Year-Old Sullivan, with her bratty demeanor appearing entirely adorable to him.
He turned around and struck a pose, "I’ll carry you."
"Okay!" Ruby giggled, jumping off the car and onto Ethan’s back.
"I want to feel the breeze outside," Ms. Sullivan requested.
"Sure," Ethan agreed, planning to keep walking for now when suddenly he heard someone call his name.
"Ethan Sterling!" The man stepped out of the shadows and approached him, "Why are you so late back home?" he complained.
He had been waiting downstairs for several hours, roughly since a little past five, without eating dinner, and nearly becoming mosquito bait. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Ethan Sterling furrowed his brows, saying nothing.
He hesitated to let Ruby down from his back, worried this guy might have bad intentions.
The visitor was none other than Skylar Aldrin.
Seeing Ethan’s wary expression, Skylar stepped back half a step, "Relax, I’m not here to fight, I’m here to negotiate."
