Chaos In The Darkness; Salvatores's Salvation-Chapter 141: A plan for revenge - II
"It would be difficult for you," Dante commented, "but it would also be the perfect excuse."
"It would." Salvatore agreed. But there was an underlying disadvantage that came with the entire plan.
" It would be rough." Salvatore commented.
"Your uncle Vincenzo can only do so much." Dante shook his head when he said that. "Handling York and Chicago along with Miami at the same time was going to be difficult for him."
Of course it would be difficult for his uncle to take care of three states at the same time.
His father always made sure that New York was under them and Salvatore made frequent trips to the states to make sure that they were just as they wanted them to be but maintaining a constant presence has proved to be a difficult task.
There was only one way that they could reclaim the territories as their own and make sure that the little gangs knew who they were up against.
"Then we go back." Salvatore shrugged as if it was the simplest of things to do. "Your father and mine can handle things perfectly from here. In fact, it would give them something to do."
With his father having the opportunity to lead the organisation again, his mind would not be as much on Evelyn and his son as it would have been.
In fact it gave Salvatore the perfect excuse to make sure that Evelyn was hidden inside the house. As it would take him a few months to clean the entire mess in the three states, Evelyn could be made sure that she was kept inside the halls until the baby was delivered and taken care of.
He would definitely take care of the baby and father. There was no way that he would never let the baby survive along with the father.
"I shall make the preparations for us to leave by the end of the week and apart from that," Dante crossed his legs and sat back more comfortably giving Salvatore the impression that he was not leaving soon. "Did you know that one of the warehouses belonging to the Mancini’s in Ireland blew up?"
"Ireland?" Salvatore repeated with a chuckle, "you don’t say."
Dante nodded with narrowed eyes. "We had a huge shipment coming in and it was the same night that their warehouse got bombed and the shipment got caught by the police."
Salvatore knew where his brother was going but there was no way that he would ever admit to what he had done. And if he were to be honest, this was a mere act of fun that he had poked at the Mancini’s.
Dante, out of all, knew very well that this was not a punishment given to them by Salvatore. A punishment would be much harsher.
"Salvatore come on," Dante sighed, tired from beating around the bush. "Why don’t we just make sure that this is over once and for all? Aldo Mancini is bedridden anyways. In fact he has not even gained consciousness."
Salvatore’s glare sharpened at the man who had just suggested getting it over with.
"Are you suggesting that I should not get my revenge?"
"No," Dante gave him a quick shake of the head, "you can get all the revenge you want but make sure that you take it out on the right person. We don’t have to go to war."
At the mention of the word war, Salvatore felt a smirk coming to his face. What a beautiful yet disastrous word it was.
"They don’t have to go to war with me." The young Don chuckled in delight. "By the time they even realise that I have declared war on them they would already be finished. So what is it that we have to be concerned about?"
Fuck, Dante swore, the don was not going two buldge away from this. Not even that he realised that Salvatore was not even going to listen to anything against it.
He had already made his mind about getting his Revenge against the entire house and he was going to carry it out.
With how Angelo had raised Salvatore and how destructive Salvatore could be, it was obvious that said Salvatore did not even need the help of any of his men.
"Aldo is not even awake to take care of the Mess he has created." Dante commented offhandedly.
"True," Salvatore agreed with the blob of his head. "It would have been fun if he had been awake. It would have been a war from both sides."
"Maybe you should finish it before he wakes up," Dante gulped lightly, "if he wakes up and finds out that Evelyn is married he would make sure to check on her."
It would be difficult to control him especially when he would come from a background where he knew Evelyn from before.
But that was not what the don thought of the situation.
He gave another wave of his hand as if dismissing the thought, "under what circumstances is he going to demand to meet wife? And even if he makes the request known to me, I would fucking reject it. He knows he cannot walk into my home and meet Evelyn. He would know what it means to walk into my house unannounced and without permission."
To enter another man’s house especially when it was from a different family, it would immediately declare war on the person who would lose all his protection rights against the man that he had disrespected.
Which is why even if Aldo Mancini wanted to meet Evelyn, he would need to seek the permission of the don or Evelyn herself needed to be willing enough to do it.
"States, then?" Dante confirmed once more. "How do you plan on getting Evelyn on a flight that is more than ten hours?"
Dante watched carefully as the idea alone brought a huge smile to Salvatore’s face. It was a smile that he had been familiar with many times in his life and nothing good came out of it.
"Leave that to him," Salvatore smiled.
