Chapter 57:No Other Woman

Before Zaiyila could hit the ground, Everett immediately appeared beside her and caught her. Right now, even if he still wanted to be angry, he couldn’t anymore. He didn’t want his Queen to feel heartbroken at all.

Of course, he was aware of the reason why Zaiyila suddenly fainted—it was definitely because her thoughts had spiraled, all thanks to the naked woman.

The woman stood there like a statue, but Everett didn’t spare her a glance. His attention was completely focused on the beautiful Queen in his arms. He sat down on the chair and placed her on his lap so she could rest comfortably.

After an unknown number of hours passed, Zaiyila slowly opened her eyes and inhaled the familiar scent. She immediately looked at Everett to confirm it was truly him. Upon realizing it was, she couldn’t help but burst into tears.

"Eve, I’m sorry. Don’t be angry with me anymore. I’ll be obedient, just please don’t ignore me. Don’t bring another woman here. Don’t take another wife or mistress, Don’t ignore me again, Don’t get tired of me because of another woman, Don’t leave me alone because of another woman, please," she pleaded, hugging him tightly in case he tried to pull away.

Everett smiled and gently patted Zaiyila’s head. "So many don’ts... but all about a woman," he remarked.

Zaiyila bit her lower lip. "If you really want another wife, then maybe I should just die. I don’t want to see that," she whispered.

Everett frowned and immediately captured her lips, sucking on them greedily like his favorite candy. After several long moments, he broke the kiss, allowing Zaiyila to breathe.

"Never mention that again," he murmured.

Zaiyila pouted. "Just now, I had a dream that you brought in a naked woman. You don’t know how scared I was," she confessed.

Everett raised an eyebrow. "Well, I did bring in a naked woman," he admitted reluctantly. "So... it wasn’t a dream. It was reality."

Zaiyila’s eyes widened, and she immediately turned toward the entrance, searching for the naked woman.

"EVERETT!!!" she shrieked, her eyes instantly welling with fresh tears. "I’m telling you, as long as I’m alive, no other woman is allowed!" she declared in a rather bossy tone.

"Calm down, Your Ladyship. Take a closer look at who she is," Everett coaxed.

Zaiyila looked at the woman again, this time more calmly. Recognizing her, she gasped. "Miss Anabel!" she exclaimed in shock.

The naked Anabel snapped back to awareness right after Zaiyila shouted her name. Her eyes met Zaiyila’s before shifting to Everett. She seemed to recall something and glanced down at her exposed body.

"Ah!" she screamed, trying to hide herself, though it was impossible.

Zaiyila blinked in confusion and turned to Everett. "What’s wrong with her?" she questioned.

Everett shrugged and started playing with Zaiyila’s hair. "She was trying to seduce me, so I brought her here for you to deal with," he explained.

Zaiyila’s expression darkened immediately. The one thing that could drive her beyond reason was another woman trying to steal her man. She would never forgive such a person. She stood up from Everett’s lap and stormed toward Anabel, grabbing her hair.

"I washed the damn hall 199 times on your orders, and you went ahead and flirted with my man. Am I the dumb one here, or are you just a bitch?" she growled, yanking her hair with such force that several strands came loose.

"Ah!" Anabel cried out in pain and raised her hand to rub her scalp, but realizing she was still naked, she instead covered her breasts and tried to endure the pain.

Zaiyila’s eyes flashed crimson, and her elegant nails extended an inch longer. She was prepared to end Anabel’s life then and there, but Everett immediately pulled her back onto his lap.

"Let me go! Let me kill her!" Zaiyila shouted, struggling to break free, but Everett silenced her with a kiss, soothing her instantly.

"Watch me," he murmured, pressing a kiss to her forehead before snapping his fingers.

Immediately, about twenty or twenty-five men appeared out of thin air and bowed before Zaiyila and Everett.

"She needs men to satisfy her," Everett announced coldly. "Make sure she’s handled by two hundred and twenty-four of you every day, two hundred and twenty four times. Be rough—show no mercy. And make sure she doesn’t die. She said she’s a virgin... it’ll be a great honor for her if a dog takes that from her," he added with a chilling smile.

The men nodded in acknowledgment and bowed again before dragging Anabel away.

"No! No! Help me! Somebody help me!" Anabel screamed as she was taken, but no one showed her any pity—not even the once-softhearted Zaiyila.

Everett turned to Zaiyila. "Are you scared?" he inquired gently.

Zaiyila opened her mouth to answer, but suddenly her eyes turned bloody red. Before Everett could react, her teeth morphed into fangs and she sank them into his neck, hungrily sucking his blood.

Rather than pain, Everett wore a serene smile. His eyes even sparkled with excitement. After a long while, Zaiyila came back to her senses and stared at him in shock.

"What did I just do?" she breathed.

Everett simply chuckled and kissed her cheek. "It’s not a big deal. What does my Queen want to eat?" he asked sweetly in good mood.

Zaiyila thought for a moment, then slowly unbuttoned her shirt, revealing her beautiful chest concealed beneath a snow-white bra.

"What do you see?" she asked seriously.

"Um... breasts hidden in a white bra," Everett replied honestly.

Zaiyila’s face flushed. "I—I’m not talking about that... I mean, do you see a snake or something? A living one?" she clarified.

Everett frowned. "No. Why does my Queen ask?"

Zaiyila sighed. "Earlier today, Elizabeth said she saw a snake on my chest. A living one. I don’t know if she was joking, but she fainted when she looked again," she explained the whole situation and waited quietly for his response.

Everett clenched his jaw. "That must be the handiwork of Eryx," he thought, then gave Zaiyila a reassuring smile.

"Is my Queen scared?" he asked gently.

Zaiyila shook her head. "I just wanted to confirm if the snake was yours. I can’t even see it," she admitted.

"Don’t worry. No one will be able to see it again, and it won’t bother you at all," Everett assured her.

Zaiyila nodded, trusting him without question.

"Eve, I have something to ask..."
