"Mhm," Everett murmured, resting his head on her chest.
"Um... um... will you still allow me to continue studying?" she asked in a low voice, clearly lacking confidence. "Don’t... don’t be angry, okay? I’m fine if you don’t want me to continue. Staying with you all day isn’t bad at all," she quickly added.
Everett lifted his head and looked at Zaiyila. "You clearly still want to continue schooling, so I have no objection—but I will set some rules now. If you don’t follow them, then no more school for you," he declared.
Zaiyila nodded immediately. "I’ll follow them," she assured happily.
Everett nodded and began playing with Zaiyila’s beautiful almond-shaped nails. "First, don’t give face to anyone at school. Whether they’re right or wrong, you mustn’t allow them to take advantage of you," he instructed. frёeωebɳovel.com
"Noted," Zaiyila acknowledged with a nod.
"Second, there are no rules for you. Everywhere on Earth, you control others; others cannot control you."
"Noted. But you’re the exception," she responded.
"Including me."
"But you’re giving me rules now."
"I’m pointing out what you should know and do."
"That’s not fair—you called them rules at the start."
"I’ve changed that now."
"Hmph. I’m listening," Zaiyila huffed, folding her arms.
"You’re hiding my favorite," Everett remarked, gently pulling her arms away from her chest.
Zaiyila chuckled, her face flushing. "Continue," she encouraged.
Everett kissed her chest before placing his head back on it. "Third, always remember that everything in the world is yours, and you can do as you please with it."
"Mhm, I heard you. But if I turn into a bad girl, you’re not allowed to stop liking me," Zaiyila remarked.
"I never liked you from the very beginning," Everett replied.
Zaiyila’s heart trembled, and she looked at him, her eyes turning red for some reason.
"I’ve always loved you. And if there’s a stronger word for love, then I have that for you too. You are my everything, Zaiyila. I can’t live without you," Everett confessed, his voice filled with heartache.
Zaiyila, who had started feeling bloodlust, returned to her senses upon hearing his words. Her mind and heart overflowed with happiness, and she couldn’t help but chuckle.
"You know, you make it look like I’m the husband now and you’re the wife," she teased, laughing.
Everett raised his head and smiled. "It’s a pity that I’m still the husband," he responded.
Zaiyila puffed her cheeks, looking extremely cute. "I can be your mother," she announced.
"Nope, you are my wife."
"Call me Mummy."
"..."
"Eve, call me Mummy."
"Should I be the one saying that?"
"I want you to call me Mummy," Zaiyila insisted with a nod.
Everett sighed and hesitated. "Mu... Mummy," he stammered, the word unfamiliar on his tongue.
"Oh my! Repeat it!" Zaiyila’s eyes widened in excitement.
"Mummy."
"Aww, you are so cute! That’s it—today and tomorrow, I’ll be your mother, and you have to address me as Mummy from time to time. Agree?"
"No, I solemnly disagree."
"Since you’ve agreed, that’s it—it starts now."
Everett looked at her in confusion. "I said no, I didn’t say yes," he pointed out.
"But you said it just now."
"I didn’t"
"Eve, you love me very much."
"Yes, very much—more than anything."
"Then you admit that you do?"
"Sure. Would I ever deny that?"
"So it’s settled. You already agreed."
"Ehn? Wait, I didn’t agree to the roleplay of you being my mother for the whole one and a half days."
"But you just said that you do."
"I was talking about my feelings for you."
"But I’m talking about the roleplay."
Everett didn’t know what to say anymore.
"You also said you wouldn’t deny it, but you’re denying it now," Zaiyila commented in a low voice, her expression resembling that of an unhappy child.
"..."
"All right, my Queen has the final say," Everett surrendered.
Zaiyila chuckled happily and kissed his cheek affectionately.
Everett smirked."See how you’ll end the roleplay yourself," he thought and then put on a serious expression.
"Now that I’m your son, you shouldn’t be sitting on my lap. It’s not appropriate," he pointed out.
"Oh, that’s right." Zaiyila immediately got off his lap and cleared her throat. "Eve dear, go and bring a glass of juice for your mum," she attempted to sound like a real mother—but everything was a mess. Her expression, tone, and demeanor looked nothing like a mother’s. If Everett wasn’t already aware of the situation, he might’ve thought she was trying to seduce him.
"Which mother acts like this?" he mused to himself.
"Eve! Mummy is talking to you!" Zaiyila placed both hands on her waist and frowned.
Everett couldn’t help chuckling. This pretty sweetheart of his was just too cute. "Um... sure." Without leaving his seat, a glass filled with juice floated into his hand from the kitchen, and he passed it to Zaiyila. "Here."
Zaiyila took the glass and placed it on the table. "Stand up," she ordered.
Everett sighed. "Mummy’s not going to school today, I guess," he muttered, thinking Zaiyila would quickly forget the roleplay—but to his dismay, she didn’t.
"I’m your mum now, so I finished school long ago before I gave birth to you. Stop talking and stand up," Zaiyila commanded, taking her motherly role seriously.
Everett sighed again. "Seems like it won’t be that simple," he murmured and stood up.
Zaiyila stepped closer to him and suddenly—
PA!
She actually spanked him. Three times in a row.
Everett was stunned, staring at her with a blank expression. Should he laugh or cry? His beautiful Queen was seriously preparing to be a mother!
"It’s rather strange that I’m not sure what I did wrong," Everett remarked calmly, trying to suppress his laughter.
"When I send you to do something, don’t just sit there and use magic. You have to walk around," Zaiyila stated.
Everett nodded, doing a great job suppressing his laughter. "I heard you."
"Where did you put the ’Mummy’?"
"I heard you, Mummy," Everett corrected himself.
"Good son." Zaiyila reached to pat his head, only to realize she wasn’t tall enough. Even on her toes, she couldn’t reach.
"Bend your head over—I want to pat it," she instructed.
Everett couldn’t hold it anymore and burst out laughing. "Did I just realize that my mother is a shortie?" he laughed melodiously.
