[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 268: Take him away
Eden stared at her. A smile slowly curled up his lips as he nodded.
Elvis was confused. He stared at Eden and then at his mother. "What’s happening?" Elvis asked, looking at Eden.
But Eden said nothing.
The soldiers had begun gathering around Eden and Elvis again. They were about to end them as the King would instruct.
But before they could attack, Eden used his last strength and waved his hands around them. A purple wave brushed them off. And then he muttered.
"Lenny, now."
Light filled the scene as a huge purple bird appeared. Everyone began pulling backward as the great beast flapped its enormous wings.
A purple wind filled the air, pushing people back. Some stood their ground, trying not to get blown away.
The purple bird stared down at Eden and Elvis. Then it used its wings to cover the two of them.
Elvis was still confused. He didn’t understand what was happening. He could only stare at his mother, who was smiling at him—a warm smile.
And before he knew it, they disappeared. Eden, Elvis, and the bird had vanished into purple dust.
With them gone, everyone began murmuring and looking around. The nobles spoke among themselves as Queen Elizabeth casually smiled.
Some guards rushed to hold the King, who was about to fall.
Queen Lea stared in shock. She didn’t even approach the King. She stared at Queen Elizabeth in horror. She had never expected this from her. And she feared she would be the next person to be stabbed. So she slowly pulled backward.
King Edward was held by the guards as he stared at Queen Elizabeth. "You monster. How dare you try to kill your king? Don’t you know the consequences of this treasonous act?" he questioned her.
But Queen Elizabeth kept a calm expression, as though she didn’t care about anything that would happen afterward.
And she really didn’t care.
Without even looking at King Edward, she said, "And what are you going to do? Kill me?" She stared at him. "You could try."
"How audacious!" King Edward roared as blood gushed from his mouth. He coughed while staggering on his feet. The guards caught him.
"Call the royal physician immediately!" one of the nobles ordered, and some of the guards left to fetch him.
"I’ll make you pay for this," King Edward said to Queen Elizabeth. "I’ll make you die miserable for trying to kill me."
But Queen Elizabeth smiled. "Are you sure I just tried to kill you?" She stared at him. "Do all you want now, Your Majesty, while you can, because I’m here to take back what you took from me."
She laughed. A soft yet hysterical laughter. One that left Queen Lea afraid of the woman before her. But one that made the King fear the return of someone he thought he had killed.
"Guards!" the King called. "Take the Queen and imprison her! Make sure you torture this monster! Take her away!" he ordered as he stared at Queen Elizabeth in fear.
Queen Elizabeth kept laughing as the guards came to take her. Then she said, "Don’t bother. I know the way so well."
She stared at the King and said, "You better say your last prayers, because the ghost of all you did is back to haunt you."
She spoke as she continued laughing hysterically. Then she walked away, leaving King Edward there.
King Edward stood there bleeding as shivers ran down his spine. He was scared of the woman who had just walked past.
"Your Majesty! Are you okay?" Queen Lea got to her feet and rushed to the King.
King Edward staggered in pain as they took him away to get treated.
At that moment, everyone began leaving the hall immediately. The harmonious engagement had turned into a bloodbath. And everyone simply wanted to make a run for it.
The imperial guards didn’t hesitate. They took the Imperial Princess away and back to the Empire.
This was certainly news bound to sweep the whole empire in shock in a matter of hours.
And Queen Elizabeth made her way to prison without hesitation. She had a smile on her face as she majestically walked to her cell.
She was calm. Calm because she knew how this chaos was going to end. And because she was the one who had written it all along, after all.

FEW DAYS BEFORE THE ROYAL ENGAGEMENT BANQUET.
Queen Elizabeth was in her room.
She sat quietly on a chair, staring at herself in the mirror.
Her lady-in-waiting stood behind her, gently combing her hair while staring at her from time to time in the mirror.
Queen Elizabeth kept thinking about Eden’s words to her on that day. She thought about it, and all she could tell herself was, "He knows."
She didn’t know how Eden had found out about all this, but from what she could tell, it was obvious that he wasn’t using it against her.
Rather, Eden seemed genuine in helping her.
She was most confused about that. She hadn’t heard anything good about the Wizard of EL at all. All she had heard was evil. That was all she knew.
But ever since Eden came here, she had been keeping an eye on him. And he was the opposite of what she thought he was.
He was nice. And the fact that he was trying to help her against Queen Lea had her deep in thought.
"Or is he playing some tricks? What’s his motive?" she asked herself, wondering if Eden was playing some game. And maybe this was part of his game for a grand scheme.
She couldn’t tell.
A lady walked up to them. "Your son wishes to see you," she informed Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth hesitated. "Tell him I’m tired. I don’t wish to see anyone."
The lady left to pass on the message to Elvis, who was waiting outside her chamber.
Queen Elizabeth’s lady-in-waiting stared at her while combing her hair. "He’s been here a couple of times now. Why don’t you want to see him? He seems desperate, as though he has something he wants to tell you. You should at least listen."
Queen Elizabeth was quiet. She said nothing as she wondered why Elvis had been bent on seeing her. He had been here more than five times now, and she had turned him down.
She wondered what he wanted to discuss with her.
And at that moment, she thought about what Eden knew. She wondered if Eden had told him something.
And then, Queen Elizabeth said, "Inform the Wizard of EL that I’d like to meet him. Set up a secret meeting for us."
