[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 96: An Unfounded Accusation
Two hours earlier...
Arcane had just finished lunch, as it was lunchtime. He walked out of the cafeteria and headed back to the teachers’ room to prepare for his next class after lunch break.
As soon as he entered the teachers’ room, he found an envelope on his desk. He looked around, curious about what kind of envelope was on his desk at that moment. Because previously, the envelope was not there.
Someone had put it there.
"What is this envelope? As far as I remember, I didn’t put any envelope here. Did someone put it there?" he muttered.
He opened the envelope and read the letter inside. It was a small card with a request for him to come to a certain place.
"I’ll wait for you on the school roof. Please come after lunch."
At first, he thought the letter was ridiculous because he didn’t know who sent it or why someone would ask him to come to the school roof.
However, he was worried that it might be one of his students who wrote the letter for him. Worried that something bad might happen to the student, he decided to go to the school roof and left the envelope back on his desk.
Arcane left the teachers’ room and headed to the school roof to see who had sent the letter.
As soon as he arrived, he looked around the roof and found a girl with pink hair who had been waiting for him all along.
Of course, he recognized her as the girl who always caused trouble for everyone, Freya Morgan.
"You finally came, Mr. Romano," she said with a smile.
"So you sent that letter. Why did you do that? You know you shouldn’t send a letter like that to your own teacher, let alone ask him to come to a place like this," said Arcane, putting his hands in his pockets.
"I just want to talk to you face to face."
Arcane waited for what she wanted to say, but the red haired man knew what she wanted to say to him. It was very clear that Freya wanted Arcane to leave Julian for her. Freya felt that a man like Arcane shouldn’t end up with someone like Julian.
"I can give you a better life! My father has a lot of money. He is also a very influential person, and if you want to be with me, I will make sure you can live in wealth!" she said.
No matter how hard she tried to convince him, Arcane ultimately refused. He didn’t care how much money Freya had, because he didn’t want to choose her. For him, Julian was the only person he loved, and he wouldn’t trade that man just for money.
"I’m still young. I have a strong body to work and earn money rather than just sitting around enjoying money that isn’t mine. And I won’t waste my time just to be with a girl like you. Now go back to class because break time will be over soon," Arcane replied firmly.
That answer made her feel so angry because she didn’t want to and didn’t like being rejected.
"Don’t you remember what happened to the previous teacher when he refused my request? I can get him thrown in jail and fired from this job with just one sentence from me!"
Freya began to attack more intensely and aggressively than before, because she was tired of Arcane’s indifference to her actions.
"You mean you’re going to accuse me of doing something to you?"
"Yes! I’ll tell everyone you tried to r*pe me! That way you’ll be expelled from this school, and no other school will want to accept a teacher like you because your reputation will be ruined!" Freya replied with a laugh.
Even though what she said was truly cruel, Arcane’s expression didn’t change at all. He remained completely expressionless, staring directly into her eyes.
"Are you serious that you’re not afraid of losing your reputation? Plus, I know a secret about you. You’re actually the principal’s son, right?"
He was a little surprised to hear this, because Arcane and Donald had previously agreed not to tell anyone. But how could Freya know?
’Could she have overheard our conversation? But my father and I discussed this when no one else was around. Has Freya been secretly following us?’ he thought.
Even though Arcane tried to control his expression so as not to show that he was surprised, she knew that the man certainly did not expect her to know the secret.
"Now you only have two choices. You can accept me as your lover and leave your husband. Or you can lose everything if you still refuse. Now the choice is yours."

Back to the present...
Julian ran to Acrenemia High School after receiving a call from Donald saying that the police wanted to talk to him. Of course, this surprised him because he didn’t expect the police to be involved in this matter.
When he arrived, there were two police officers, the principal and his deputy, Arcane, and an angry looking man pointing at her husband in the staff room.
"You don’t need to know his background. I’m sure this jerk was trying to r*pe my daughter!" said the middle aged man in a brown suit, pointing at Arcane’s face.
"I am not doing that."
The police officers tried to calm her down, saying they were waiting for Julian to arrive to hear his testimony first.
Once Julian arrived, they explained what had happened when Freya had screamed in fear from the school roof, saying that Arcane had tried to do something bad to her.
"My husband tried to r*pe his student? You must have the wrong person. Arcane would never do such a thing!" he said, trying to defend his husband.
"We understand what you’re trying to say. We just want to find out more about Mr. Romano from you. Is it true that you’ve been married for almost two years?" asked one of the police officers.
Julian admitted that they had indeed been married for almost two years, which was why they had started lying in the first place. Even though in reality, he and Arcane had only been married for a little over a year.
Cooperatively, he explained everything and answered the police’s questions about his husband. However, the middle aged man who was Freya’s father still couldn’t accept the truth and continued to accuse Arcane of being a man who tried to defile his daughter.
"Liar! I can’t believe what they’re saying, because I’m sure they’re both working together to do something like this too!" he shouted.
He then turned to Donald, demanding that the man immediately expel Arcane from the school.
"Mr. Stamford, yet another teacher has tried to do something inappropriate to my daughter. I want you to expel this jerk from school!"
Mr. Morgan then turned to Arcane again, pointing at his face. "And I’ll make sure he doesn’t get any job after he leaves this place! You’ll die rotting on the streets because—"
CRASH!
Suddenly, there was a loud bang as a table was struck, startling everyone in the room and causing them to turn toward the source of the noise, which turned out to be Donald’s desk.
"SHUT UP!" he shouted loudly, his hands trembling and his face red with anger.
"If you speak to him like that again, I’ll make sure your daughter will be expelled from this school with a bad reputation on her record."
