[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 60: Problems That Are Not Yet Resolved
Winter has finally arrived, snow falling from the sky covering the city in a thick, cold white blanket. Many people avoid leaving their homes, choosing to stay warm indoors.
But for those who work, even teachers, they still have to work in situations like this until the final exams are over.
As usual, Arcane walks to school in the morning with his bag in his hand. He wore a thick coat with a scarf around his neck.
"Hufft... If it weren’t for this job, I’d want to stay home with Julian," he muttered, then closed his eyes. "It must feel nice to sit with him on the sofa and drink hot chocolate while wrapped in a blanket."
His face smiled as he imagined him and his husband warming each other up together. In the middle of thinking about her plans for when she got home with Julian, someone tapped her on the shoulder from behind.
"Mr. Romano!" called a girl with pink hair cheerfully.
The smile on his face immediately faded when he saw that the student who had tapped him on the shoulder was none other than Freya. The student who constantly sought his attention.
"Good morning, Mr. Romano! What a coincidence that we meet on the street like this," she said.
"Yes, you’re right." Arcane replied coldly and briefly. He was tired of Freya’s attitude, as if she never stopped trying to get close to him.
Freya, who felt neglected, was extremely upset. But she knew she couldn’t show it. Even though she was actually fed up with Arcane constantly ignoring her for a year as she tried to get his attention.
"I even asked my father to find me a private tutor so I could master mathematics and get good grades to impress this guy! But why does he still ignore me?!’ she thought, feeling very upset.
She tried to change her strategy, trying to make a slight threat that might scare Arcane and make him give in to her.
"Mr. Romano, to be honest, I really admire you. You are not a perverted teacher who takes advantage of the girls around you. I was almost harassed once, but luckily I managed to escape," she said, trying to remind him of one of the teachers who had been expelled from school for harassing her.
The case was actually set up by Freya herself, who accused the teacher because he kept rejecting her.
However, instead of feeling afraid, Arcane seemed unconcerned and quickened his pace to enter the school grounds. This truly frustrated Freya, as Arcane should have been afraid of the threat.
"Damn it! Just wait and see. I’m sure I’ll get you sooner or later. If you keep resisting, I’ll be the one to get rid of you!"
In the teachers’ lounge, Arcane sat at his desk and sighed. He took off his thick coat and placed his bag on the table with irritation, because Freya was still staring at him.
Not long after, Kyle came and sat next to him as usual. In his hands were two cups of hot tea that he had bought for Arcane.
"It’s very cold outside. I happened to buy this hot tea for you at the school cafeteria earlier," he said as he placed one cup of hot tea on Arcane’s desk.
"Thank you. You didn’t have to bother buying it for me, but next time I’ll threat you."
He drank the hot tea, and slowly his anger and the cold in his body subsided. Perhaps a little peace and the fragrant aroma of tea was what he needed right now.
"It’s almost time for the long year end holiday. Do you plan to go out or stay at home?" asked Kyle.
"Maybe just stay at home with Julian. This is my first New Year’s Eve spending time with him. So maybe I’ll take him out on New Year’s Eve," replied Arcane, unaware that Kyle felt jealous hearing this.
The man also wanted to go out on New Year’s Eve, especially on Christmas Eve. Because he was sure Ethan wouldn’t take him out at times like that.
His husband was always busy with his own affairs and chose to sleep on his days off. Kyle understood that perhaps his husband was tired from working in a demanding field that required a lot of energy. But he also wanted to be like other couples who could spend time together.
"Mr. Julian is very lucky to be able to spend time with you during the year end holidays," he said, trying to smile as he sipped the tea in his hand.
She hoped that fate would change for her so that everything would be better.

That afternoon, Julian went to Acrenimia High School to teach extracurricular activities as usual. Since it was almost school holiday, that day was also his last day of teaching.
In class, he broke the sad news that he would no longer be teaching.
"This is my last day teaching at this school. It’s not because you’re about to get your year end vacation. It’s because your art teacher will be back next year," Julian told them all.
Of course, they looked disappointed and very sad when they heard this.
"Really?! We really enjoyed your lessons! But you have to stop teaching," said one of the students sadly, knowing that Julian would not be teaching next year.
"From the beginning, I was only a temporary substitute teacher. And next year, your art teacher will be back, so I won’t be needed anymore. But don’t forget what I taught you!" he said, feeling sad because he would no longer be able to see his students.
Although he only taught for three months and had only 16 students, he felt very happy and got to know them very well during those three months. But he had no other choice, his teaching period had come to an end.
On the last day, he taught the final lesson and said goodbye to them.
"Don’t be sad! We can still communicate through Arcane. You can leave messages to him, and I will receive them," Julian tried to cheer them up, but they still looked unhappy about it.
Suddenly, one of them stood up and shouted loudly.
"How about you open a class outside of school hours? Like on weekends so we can continue learning with you! We will pay you for being tutor!" she suggested.
Julian thought it was a good idea. Unfortunately, they had to face the reality that Julian himself did not have a place to teach them. The house where he currently lived with Arcane could not accommodate all of them, which meant he had to find a place that could be used as a classroom.
But of course, that requires a lot of consideration, such as teaching permits, paying rent for the place, and other things.
"Just come to my house if you miss me. I will welcome you with open arms," said Julian.
One by one, they ran and hugged him, taking turns before finally ending the class. Julian paused for a moment, looking at his art class, where he would no longer be coming.
"Goodbye."
As the green haired man walked away from the school hallway, he passed through an open hallway that led to the school garden. From a distance, he saw a man sitting alone on a bench under a tree.
The man looked familiar to him, and because of his intense curiosity, he approached the person.
’If i look closely, he does look familiar.’
As he got closer, he began to realize that it was the principal holding something. He even wiped his tears, as if that thing in his hand was something very precious to him.
"Mr. Stamford?"
