Beyond the Bloodline-Chapter 153: The Deity Realm
Jamie has exuviated and surpassed mortality...again.
He had done this in the past, so the process was quite smooth this time. To the laws of the Universe, Jamie was only recovering the power he ’already had’, so it had no right to impose upon him the same difficulties it did others.
As for why he said this was where the road to power recovery truly began, it was simply due to the sheer power gap between Lower and Higher Existences.
The Deity Realm
That was the name of the Existence Realms above Transcendence.
From Mortal Lower Existence to Deity Higher Existence.
However, there wasn’t just one Deity Realm, but a total of four.
The Half-Deity Realm was the first. It was often called the ’Beginner Higher Existence’ Realm.
When one becomes a Transcendent, they gain the capability to comprehend and understand the inner workings of the laws that govern the Universe.
Upon gaining sufficient comprehension of a law, one is granted an ’Authority’ over that law.
An ’Authority’ was a manifestation of their right to overpower, give orders, control and enforce obedience to the power of a Universal law. It is inviolable, except by higher-ranked Law Authorities or comprehensions on the same level.
An Origin Core of that Law’s energy forms in one’s soul when one gains an Authority.
When that Authority ranks up, the core becomes denser and stronger.
As for these Ranks, they are the distinctions in levels of which a law can be comprehended.
Basic, Low, Mid, High.
Those are the Law Ranks that apply to the Deity Realm, and they also represent the names of the Four Deity Realms.
Basic Rank Laws (RL) for Half-Deities, Low-RL for Low-Tier Deities, Mid-RL for -Mid-Tier Deities, and High-RL for High-Tier Deities.
To become a Half-Deity or Demigod, as some would like to call it; one has to gain an Authority in at least one Basic RL.
This is usually gotten at around 50-70% comprehension of the law, but depending on the circumstances, it may be earlier or later.
Someone with good affinity may get it at 55-60%, someone with horrible affinity may get it at 95% and those with ridiculously high affinities—so high that it seems as if the Universal Law Is in love with them—can get it before 50%.
Like how Jamie is with Space and how Miranda is with Fire.
After one is done comprehending said Basic RL, they can then begin their journey onto the Low RL. When they gain a Low RL Authority and have reached the Required Deity Level, they can break through to the next Realm.
However, this is easier said than done as the power gaps in Realms are ENORMOUS.
Now then, how does one gain access to the power of a Law to comprehend it?
You can’t just sit down in a lotus position and try to comprehend a law’s power. Things didn’t work that way.
You needed to first of all have the information about the Law’s Inner Workings ’downloaded into your Existence’.
This download file can be gained most commonly via Law Crystals.
The item Jamie had used to regain his Pseudo-Authority of Knowledge was one of such Law Crystals.
Law crystals are crystals mostly formed by condensed law energy/essence, and they contain the knowledge/information about a universal law and how it works.
You needed to absorb this information into yourself, before attempting to internally comprehend what you had absorbed.
The information held within law crystals is not meant to be understood immediately.
It is all over the place and makes little sense, this is why one has to first comprehend a law before one can enforce their will over it.
If the information made sense from the start, then anyone who picked up a law crystal might just gain an authority with no stress.
To explain just how messed up the information usually is, you could liken it to a book.
Quoting the words of a Progenitor Jamie had met in the past;
"It’s like a 10000 A2 page textbook had all its pages ripped out, then shredded to pieces.
Then someone picked up the pieces and randomly stitched them together.
If what I’m looking at when I open the book is Page 1 Chapter 1, Paragraph 1, the next paragraph would be from page 3592, Chapter 234, Paragraph 61.
Then the next paragraph is from page 8755, Chapter 590, Paragraph 3.
That’s how bizarre it is to me."
That was truly how bizarre it was, hence why one could spend centuries to millennia comprehending these laws.
The laws must also be comprehended in order; one cannot attempt to comprehend a Low RL without first comprehending the Basic Rank of the Law.
Another thing of note is that Higher Existences all have protective layers, or barriers around their Souls, made up of an energy type closely related to them.
For example; a god would have their protective layer made of divinity, or a demon would have theirs made of demonic energy.
The number of layers increases as one advances in realm. i.e.; A Half-Deity would have one layer, a Low-tier deity would have two layers, and so on.
To ’kill’ a Deity Realm, you have to kill not only their bodies but also destroy these Soul Layers or they could just condense an astral body and be on their not-so-merry way.
Only after these Soul Layers have been destroyed, can a Higher Existence be considered ’Dead’.
This then brings us to the Stats and Levels.
For Lower Existences, the Realms of Each Existence are proportionally related to their stats and Levels which are as follows.
1-20-F Bronze
20-50-E Silver
50-100-D Gold
100-200-C Master
200-300-B Master
300-400-A Grandmaster
400-500-S Grandmaster
500-600-SS Epic
600-700-SSS Epic
700-800-X1 Legendary
800-900-X2 Sovereign
900-1000-X3 Transcendent
It should be noted that this proportionality, continues even in the Deity Realms.
Deity Levels;
1-100-EX Half-Deity Realm
100-200-EX1- Low-Tier Deity
200-300-EX1 Low-Tier Deity
300-400-EX1+ Low-Tier Deity
400-500-EX2- Mid-Tier Deity
500-600-EX2 Mid-Tier Deity
600-700-EX2+ Mid-Tier Deity
700-800-EX3- High-Tier Deity
800-900-EX3 High-Tier Deity
900-1000-EX3+ High-Tier Deity
Jamie’s current Deity Level of 17, puts him well in the middle of the Inferior Stage Half Deity Realm, which usually spans Deity Levels 1-33. 34-66, are for Intermediates, while 67-99 are for superiors.
100-200 is for the Inferior Low-Tier Deities, 200-300 for the Intermediate and 300-300 for the Superior.
The other two higher realms are the same as this.
Now, onto the ’Race Ruler’ ranks and titles; Distinctions given to beings who had achieved certain levels of power and were also members of the Universe’s Pantheon.
It was noted that for Races which ranked its members like Demons, Vampires, gods, and the like, Transcendents were ’Peak Rank’ members of their Race.
Some also extended this ’Peak Rank’ to accommodate Half-Deities as well.
Low-Tier Deities, and Mid-Tier Deities, were eligible for the Race Lord title. This was the realm where the True Bodies of Pirantu, Tasir and the like were.
High-Tier Deities were eligible for the Race King title.
Not all Deities were Race Rulers, as only those who had sufficient territory, controlled billions of members of their Race, and had other Deities serving them, along with the Status of Members of the Universe’s pantheon had this distinction.
Terrion, Ikerth, Waldron and many others fit this bill, hence, why they were Race Kings. This meant there were many others on their level of power who didn’t have Race Ruler titles.
Of course, these titles weren’t just fancy names, and along with the Authority they brought, they also afforded the holder a lot of Universal Influence, and most importantly, they gave the user extra power.
They could also use their Authority to empower subordinates who fought on behalf of them.
It was why many coveted these titles despite the responsibilities they came along with.
The last thing that needed to be spoken of for now, was the Power.
Just how much power did Higher Existences have?
Why did Lower Existences who were not ignorant fear and revere them so much?
Was it their Authority over Laws? Yes, that played a part but it wasn’t all.
Was it the fact that they were eligible to become Race Rulers and Lord over them? Sure, that was a thing to fear, but it wasn’t the real case.
Was it the fact that Higher Existences enjoyed longer lifespans, and were much harder to kill? That was a thing of envy for most, but it was not the main reason.
The main reason they were feared, was the sheer raw power that Existences possessed.
Their Attack Potency, Speed, Striking Strength, and Durability.
The Destructive potential they had.
Take the Transcendent Realm as an example. Transcendents could sink continents with areas spanning over 50 million square kilometres.
50 million!
Now then, would you believe if you were told that even the weakest Half Deities could do that with barely any effort?
That it was within the realm of possibility for Superior Stages to turn entire Planets, with areas in the hundreds of millions of kilometre squares, into dead rocks floating in space?
Oh, if that wasn’t enough, then do note that Low-Tier Deities could kill Half-Deities in a single strike if they put their mind to it.
A Star? A Solar System? A Low-Tier Deity could grasp that in their palm on a random Tuesday.
Then don’t even get started on the vastest of the Deity Realms, the Mid-Tier Deity Realm.
The power gap between an Inferior Mid-Tier and an Intermediate was many times as much power as the Inferior, Intermediate and Superior Stages of the Low-Tier Deity Realm combined.
Then those Race Kings...Waldron, Ikerth, Terrion, Denise, and formerly Seren.
For those guys, even the weakest High-Tier Deity you could ever possibly find had enough power to make the Vela Galaxy go ’poof!’
And mind you, they weren’t even the strongest beings in the Universe! They weren’t even at the Top.
Terrion’s reaction to his discovery of the Hybrids made much more sense when this was taken into account.
The man could hardly believe that thousands of beings who could lord over entire Galaxies were scared of just Six people.
But the truth remained that those Six had power deserving of such fear and reverence.

"Anyway, that’s enough info dumping for one Chapter. Just wanted to take this chance to let you guys know what’s up.
Oh, and you can expect space battles too!"
"Jay, who are you talking to?"
"The Reade—I mean, I was Reading something out loud."
Miranda eyed Jamie suspiciously, but the man silently glanced to the side, opening up the portal to his Subspace and jumping into it to find a new suit.
