|Aspect of the Wolf: Alpha King’s Roar. |

A deafening sonic blast echoed outwards, the sheer force distorting the surrounding space and creating ripples that spread outwards like a stormy sea.

The roar met Ikerth’s incoming Lava Breath head-on and clashed violently with it.

The Lava Breath, powerful as it was, was overwhelmed and disintegrated by the Alpha King’s Roar, the fiery stream splintering and scattering, reduced to harmless embers that faded into the air before they could reach Jamie.

The aftershocks of the clash sent shockwaves across the battlefield, momentarily stunning Ikerth’s body.

That short moment was enough for Miranda to close the distance and clamp her jaws down on Ikerth’s tail, her fangs digging into his skin as she dragged him across the ground for a few hundred metres.

Ikerth put all his power into his tail and used it to fling Miranda’s body away, but at that moment, Jamie came in from the side and bit Ikerth’s wounded right arm, ripping it right off with a savage bite.

The dragon wasn’t given a chance to scream in pain as Miranda’s jaws clamped down on his neck, spurting blood into the air.

Jamie and Miranda moved in relentless ferocity against him, each claw swipe and jaw snap tearing apart the dragon’s scales and flesh.

Their coordinated attacks left Ikerth struggling to defend himself, unable to muster a counterattack.

Miranda lunged, her jaws seeking purchase on Ikerth’s scales, while Jamie’s claws raked across the dragon’s flank.

As Ikerth tried to regain his footing, Miranda’s fiery paws and Jamie’s spatial-destruction claws continued to rain down upon him. Every attempt Ikerth made to retaliate was swiftly met with another onslaught from the duo.

Jamie ripped off Ikerth’s wings with his jaws and Miranda did the same to his tail, making the dragon lose more blood than his powerful dragon heart could recover.

Miranda coated her claws in her violet flames and Jamie used his ’World Severing Claws’. Together, they both charged toward Ikerth and converged their strikes on his torso, sending the dragon crashing to the ground with a resounding thud.

They stood over him for a second, breathing heavily as they made sure he remained down.

Jamie’s body then shone with a flash of light and he returned to his humanoid form, cracking his neck before holding out his hand towards Ikerth.

Activate Vampiric Authority; Emperor’s Blood. |

The destruction energy coating Jamie’s body vanished and then Ikerth’s blood which was spilling onto the floor seemed to gain a mind of its own.

It floated upward, coalescing into a hovering Blood Orb above Jamie’s head. A six-ringed, blood-red magic circle briefly shimmered before the blood concentrated where the circle had been.

Every single drop of blood in Ikerth’s body was drained out from his body and condensed into one blood apple that bore a chillily crimson hue.

Jamie’s gaze left the emaciated dragon and he grabbed the fruit, his mouth widened beyond the natural limit as he devoured it in a single bite.

A surge of magic power burst out from Jamie’s body with the force of a tsunami. The wave crashed into Miranda’s body and she narrowed her giant purple eyes, noting the change that had occurred in Jamie.

His azure blue irises had now turned crimson red and in that instant, Miranda knew. This was different from Oyend where he had eaten the last Blood Fruit.

’Jamie has "Alternated".’

The Hybrid still had his usual nonchalant smile; however, it only took a second for that smile to transform into a sadistic grin.

|Hahaha! Mighty Dragon King Ikerth...|

Jamie taunted as he stomped on Ikerth’s head and ground his foot into the dragon’s skull.

|How does it feel? To be trampled underfoot by the same person you detest so much? Reminds you of the time I...humiliated your entire clan, doesn’t it?

It was quite entertaining back then. The agonizing screams, the pleas for death... It was like a symphony to me.

Too bad you can’t scream this time...|

Jamie crouched down and looked right into the dragon’s eyes before declaring.

|Don’t fret; this is just the start. You’re in the Dead Zone, right? I’ll be sure to visit you there. Keep that neck of yours ready

But for now, farewell. |

With his hand coated in spatial power, Jamie turned the dragon’s body over and punched his hand into his chest.

He then yanked out the Dragon’s heart and lifted the massive organ into the air, squeezing it and letting the blood pour all over him.

|Yep...very disgusting. |

Jamie shook his head before activating a technique.

|Aspect of the Wolf: Soul Devouring Jaws. |

Unlike normal, when Jamie activated the technique in his humanoid form, there was no illusory wolf breaking through space to devour the Avatar’s Soul Fragment.

Jamie’s mouth opened wide and the Soul Fragment from the Avatar’s Dragon Heart was consumed, completing the process of Jamie taking Ikerth’s power.

Exuviation: The process of shedding one’s shell.

In this case, Jamie was shedding his ’Mortal Shell’, in preparation for his ascension to a higher Existence.

The power within Ikerth’s blood and the energy that constituted his Soul Fragment was just enough for him to bridge the 66-level gap between him and the Peak of Transcendence.

Miranda returned to her human form just as cracks began to spread out across Jamie’s skin. She watched it with her purple eyes. After a few seconds, her right eye slowly regained its azure hue as her the balance between her Werewolf and Vampire sides was returned.

Looking at Jamie and seeing that both his eyes had returned to being blue, she heaved a sigh of relief as Jamie’s Alternate State did not last for long and his own Vampire-Werewolf balance was restored.

She then returned her gaze to the phenomenon occurring with Jamie’s body as the cracks had now spread all over his body.

It was as if he would shatter with even a slight touch.

Suddenly, all the cracks shattered, turning into dust and disappearing as a storm of energy swirled around Jamie’s body.

The energy wind calmed down after a minute and Jamie’s body was revealed.

He had a small smile on his face, raising his hand and looking at the date and time on his watch.

"1 month and 8 days. That was faster than I planned."

Jamie then pulled up his status board and took a look through it to see the changes.

There were a lot of changes.

First his ’Level’ had now become ’Deity Level’.

No new skills appeared, but he regained a few of his magic affinities. His stats changed from ’X’ to ’EX’ and his ’Pseudo-Authorities’ returned to being ’Complete Authorities’.

As it stood, he had only regained four of them, but that was more than what 9 out of 10 people at his current level possessed.

Most importantly, his Existence Realm was now ’Half-Deity’.

This was the first existence realm above Transcendence, the starting point of Higher Existences and the realm where the ’Peak Rank’ members of each race were.
