Chapter 154: Jamie doesn’t mince words

Jamie’s Suits were all enchanted so they were automatically stored in his Subspace wherever he went Wolf Mode, and were retrieved when he returned his body to normal.

The bright light his transformation released served no other purpose than to stop him from being branded as an exhibitionist.

With his power as a Half-Deity returned, Jamie could now wear some of his much more powerful suits and not have them feel heavy on him due to the power gap.

He put on one with a double-breasted jacket and a waistcoat he let loose, along with a sky-blue tie to match his eyes.

Miranda also changed out her clothes, burning the old ones and putting on a simple sleeveless sundress with a wide-brimmed hat.

Despite having devoured copious amounts of blood from Ikerth’s corpse earlier, the moment Jamie’s eyes laid their gaze on Miranda’s neck, he felt his heartbeat quicken and the desire to sink his fangs into her nape came over him.

’Haa...my Vampire side is still slightly ’excited’.

The issue is if I touch Mira right now, I might just forget about everything else as I’d be overcome with the desire to fuck her as well.’

The moment he had that thought, Miranda flinched and turned around to look at him, and this reaction caused him to burst into laughter.

Given how she could always acutely tell when he started desiring her, it was as if she had a Sixth Sense that perceived only his desire for her.

"Jay..."

"Pfft..."

The man chuckled when he saw her pointed stare. After barely managing to calm himself, he pulled her into a hug and leaned down towards her ears before speaking.

"I would not deny, that right now I want nothing more than to sink my fangs into your neck while holding you tight and feeling as you go weak in the knees from the pleasure it brings you, before proceeding to toss you onto a king-sized bed, rip that dress right off you and plunge the hardness you’re feeling against on your thigh right into the deepest parts of you so I can repaint your insides with my colour."

"?!"

The man did not mince his words and stated exactly how he felt that instant.

Jamie’s words, the close proximity of their bodies, his breath on her ears, his sultry voice—all of that sent shivers down Miranda’s spine and ignited the flames of desire within her.

She could feel certain liquids dripping down her thigh as her mind imagined Jamie doing exactly what he had just said to her.

"But for now, I’d settle for this."

Jamie concluded his declaration with a light kiss on her cheek, before letting go of her and stepping out of the subspace, leaving Miranda who dropped down to her knees with hot breaths spilling from her lips.

"Fuck..."

She cursed her very vivid imagination as she used magic to forcefully calm herself and suppress her desire, before getting to her feet and stepping out.

"Jay, what do you want to do next?"

"First, I’d like to see how much more power I can gain if I devour the other Transcendent Dragons that aren’t dead yet."

"Ohh..."

"Then, next, we’d have to deal with the Aftermath and talk to Terrion and Zotov, discuss how you’d move the planet over to Argent."

"Okay...and then?"

Miranda was waiting for Jamie to say one particular thing, but the man kept listing miscellaneous things which could all honestly be postponed for later.

When she saw the small curve at the edge of his lips as he spoke, she realised he knew exactly what she wanted him to say, and he was purposely avoiding it.

’He wants me to say it myself...’

"You have very bad taste, Jay."

"Hmm? Why’d you say so?"

The knowing grin on Jamie’s lips made Miranda’s brows twitch with annoyance, however, she calmed herself as she knew getting annoyed wouldn’t get her fucked.

So she proceeded to grab Jamie by his collar, pull him close and smash her lips onto his. To vent a little, she bit his lips and drew a bit of blood, before pulling away and saying.

"When we’re done with killing the other dragons and discussing with Zotov, you and I are retreating to a bedroom until further notice.

This...is non-negotiable."

She let go of him and turned around, before kicking off the ground and dashing into the distance, leaving behind a slightly stunned Hybrid.

"Hahaha!! Mira is so cute when she’s direct like that.

Maybe I should tease her some more..."

As he muttered this, his body slowly shimmered out of existence as he warped right over to the other side of the continent, where the battle between Ikerth’s force and the Zotovians was still ongoing.

◇ ◇ ◇

Some time ago on the main battlefield, hundreds of thousands of dragons and Zotovians were killing each other in a slugfest, with magic and arrows flying around, and nuclear-level explosions ringing out every few minutes.

Suddenly, all of the Transcendent Dragons who were still around suddenly froze for a split second.

It was such a short time, but in a battle where the combatants were blitzing around at hypersonic speed, it was enough time to get a strike in.

Some of the Dragons were able to regain themselves and deploy defences while some were not. One of them was even ganged upon by 3 Liberation Front Transcendents and died in that short moment.

Naturally, the Zotovians noticed the strange actions of the Transcendents and they quickly guessed it had something to do with the battle happening on the other side of the continent.

’Come to think of it, I haven’t felt any energy waves for a while?’

At the same moment Dornik thought that, Tasir and every other Transcendent Dragon had one thought running through their minds.

’Lord Ikerth...has been defeated!’

They could all sense that the ’Dragon King’s Blessing’ on them had weakened.

This meant that the person who gave them the blessing was now so far off from them that its effects had diminished.

Ikerth’s Avatar had been used as a conduit for his power so the blessing was at 100%, but now it was less than 40%.

The simultaneous drop in power from all the dragons was quickly noticed by the Zotovians and they came to the same conclusion that Tasir had.

Besides, when Terrion and Dornik spread their senses, they could not sense Ikerth’s Avatar anymore!

[Initiate Soulfire Edict!!!]

Tasir’s booming voice filled their ears and all the Transcendent Dragons who heard it glanced at each other in silence for a moment before suddenly letting out a cacophony of roars.

The Transcendent Dragons who were in humanoid form all assumed their True Draconic forms and their magic powers began surging to uncontrollable levels.

Just when they were about to Roar out again, a calm True Voice rang out in all their ears.

Dimensional Bind.

When a being reaches the deity realm, their voices become imbued with power and authority ’passively’.

Though one may hear it with their ears, it would also feel as if the deity realm existence is speaking directly to their soul.

This ’passive’ infusion of Authority, is the reason why a deity could speak and command Universal laws, like what Jamie had just done with the law of space.

He had completely sealed off the movements and energies of the Transcendent Dragons by commanding the ambient spatial laws around them.

Personally, he only had to expend a little bit of power.

He casually strolled into the battlefield where Tasir, Dornik and Terrion were, his footsteps strangely ringing out in the ears of all those present.

No one dared to attack the spatial frozen dragons. Not because they didn’t want to but because they could not.

The ring of purple flames that appeared on their necks and the warning they heard in their heads was enough for them to lose all drive to do so.

I spy a horde of unruly dragons.

Jamie slowly buttoned up his waistcoat as he walked in, before raising his right hand and calling out Miranda.

She quickly responded, enveloping his hand in her purple flames.

He then put one finger forward and drew a horizontal line with his hand in the air.

Basic Attack Sequence #1: Slice.

Blood.

The crimson liquid filled the air, sprouting up like fountains along with the heads of many of the reptilian beasts.

The earth beneath their feet was painted with gore and viscera, creating a grisly tapestry.

"...what?"

Terrion and Dornik were the most confused out of everyone.

Zotov’s Realm Suppression was still active, they could feel it limiting their power to the peak of Transcendence, Level 1000.

’So why?’

Looking at the blood of the deceased dragons that floated up into the air and coagulated into a giant orb hovering above Jamie, Dornik and Terrion questioned.

’’Why does he exude the power of a deity?!’’

Even Ikerth had to bend to Zotov’s will and descend with a Transcendent Avatar due to the powerful Realm Suppression Laws, but they could clearly see that said laws had no effect on Jamie.

It wasn’t as though Zotov was selectively removing Jamie as a target of its effects—that much, Terrion could tell.

Ignoring his inner turmoil, Jamie condensed more of the blood, his brows furrowing as he felt it wasn’t enough power for what he wanted.

Holding up his right hand with two fingers up, he used ’Cut’, targeting the Intermediate Transcendent Dragon Avatars with this.

Screams of pain filled the air and blood sprouted into the skies as the Dragons were either killed or dismembered.

[GROARR!!!!!]

Tasir’s loud roar shook the earth as he broke free from the Dimensional Bind, immolating his body with flames as he prepared a breath attack.

However, Jamie’s palm was already raised.

’Carve.’

The breath of destruction flames surged forward at the same time the mass of spatial energy was released from Jamie’s body and they clashed midway, resulting in an explosion of power that destroyed the planet’s fabric of space.

This clash was only momentary, as Tasir’s powerful breath was soon devoured by Jamie’s overbearing spatial power, and it went on to carve out the space where the dragon was.

Fortunately, or unfortunately for him, Tasir was able to leap aside in the few seconds his breath bought, but his left wings and arm were completely carved out of the third dimension.

Get over here.
