Chapter 136: Bloodlines Unveiled

Thornes

Cerus Continent (Present day Neutral Continent)

Estea

Unknown Day

??? Million Years Ago

A strikingly beautiful woman with unkempt black hair gathered into a right-side ponytail and shimmering eyes that seemed to shift colours, sat poised with crossed legs, rhythmically tapping the table beside her.

Half-framed glasses adorned her face, accentuating her aura of intellectual allure, while a pristine white lab coat draped elegantly over her frame.

However, her beautiful face was scrunched up into a frown as she looked at the scene in front of her.

"I told you two fools to get me a Vampire. Just one of them.

So, tell me, why have you brought back trouble?"

"...w-we thought t-they could ss-serve as good test...subjects..."

Hearing the reply of the man kneeling in front of her, her brow raised in question as she asked.

"Did I not give you direct orders?

I told you to get me a fucking Vampire!"

As she cursed, she temporarily lost control of her power, causing an oppressive pressure that was even worse than that of Race Emperor Robert Westley’s to fall upon the wounded Pheonix man.

The space around her was distorted due to the sheer density of her power, and the poor man’s head slammed onto the ground, digging a crater in the reinforced floor.

"...Mother?"

A young female voice called out and immediately the woman’s aura disappeared as if it was all a lie. Even the girl who had called out to her did a double take as the distorted space returned to normal in barely a second.

It was a youthful fair-skinned girl with cascading black hair reaching down to her knees, and mesmerizing red eyes. She was adorned in a flowing ankle-length black dress, exuding an air of mysterious elegance.

"What did he do?"

She walked into the room while looking at the bleeding Pheonix on the ground, but before her mother could even answer her, her eyes caught a sight that made them shine.

"Wow...he’s pretty! Mother, who’s that?"

The girl pointed at the unconscious silver-haired boy on the ground not too far from where her mother sat, completely ignoring the existence of the purple-silver-haired girl beside him like she wasn’t even there.

"Unwanted guests of ours.

Tsk..."

The girl’s mother clicked her tongue as she replied, before waving her hand in the air and swirling the energies of multiple information-type laws.

Five orbs of grey light appeared around her, projecting images of five different women who had expressions of surprise on their faces.

The surprise then changed into annoyance once they saw the glasses-wearing woman but she ignored it and spoke.

"Some idiots I hired have caused problems for the Westleys and Scotts. If you still want Witches to exist on this planet, then get your asses back here and handle it now."

[THE HECK?! WHY DO WE HAVE TO CLEAN UP ’YOUR’ MESS?!]

"Because I don’t want to do it myself. You have a problem with that? Then come and make me deal with it yourselves."

The five women were taken aback at this black-haired woman’s audacity; however, they didn’t have words to refute it as even the five of them combined did not have the strength to ’force’ her to do anything.

They had fought her in the past and she beat all five of them—whilst simultaneously transcribing a grimoire.

One of them wanted to say something, but before her mouth could even open, the connection was severed and silence returned to the room.

"Mother...so cool."

The woman flinched when she heard her daughter’s words, a complicated expression appearing on her face as she turned to the teenage girl.

’She finds me being unreasonable to be ’cool’? This is bad...’

For a moment, she had a short battle with her conscience, but it was interrupted by the groan of pain that came from the Phoenix on the floor in front of her.

"Ah...

|Get out of my sight. |

Her words became reality and the Pheonix’s body disappeared from her sight. As for where it reappeared, she could not care less as she had randomly teleported him ’somewhere’.

She then picked up the desiccated Vampire and her simple action of touching his skin cancelled the Desiccation Spell on him.

As the creator of the spell, she had maximum control over it.

Piercing his shoulder with her fingernail, she drew a bit of blood and then used magic to check it before frowning.

"Rh Negative? I can try with him."

She dropped the Vampire back on the ground before speaking to her daughter who was squeezing the unconscious boy’s cheeks.

"Take him to my other lab, Olivia."

"Okay, Mother."

The girl grabbed the Vampire’s legs and dragged him across the floor as she left the room, leaving behind the black-haired woman and the two unconscious werewolves.

"What am I going to do with you two?"

She waved her hands, using telekinesis to lift their bodies up and drop them on two empty chairs. Just as she was wondering what to do next, she noticed a bit of blood beside the lip of the boy.

Tilting her head to the side, she cleaned it off with her finger and then inspected it, her eyes widening in shock when she realised what it constituted.

"King’s blood?! No...it’s even higher!"

She jumped down from her seat and grabbed a syringe, drawing more of the unconscious boy’s blood before using it to run tests on some of the strange lab equipment she had present.

"Rh Null...!

Since he does not have either positive or negative polarities, it’s perfect for me to infuse the Bloodlines, and Racial Factors seamlessly!!!

His body would accept it all without any harm to him since he’s a Neutral Polarity!"

Her expression turned brighter as she spoke and she quickly jumped over to another part of the lab and unearthed a special microscope from a storage box.

She set it on the table and cleaned it with magic before dripping a bit of the blood she collected on the sample plate and zooming into it.

The smile on her face widened the more she zoomed the microscopic sample, and by the time she was done, she had burst out into laughter.

"YES! With this, I can create my own version of a Ç̴̦͍̟̗̰̦͓̦͖̭̑̋̑̊͆͛̈́͒̈́̎͛̅͝i̸͓̻̞̭̫͓̘̓́̓̑͆͑͋̊͌̈́͝m̸̡̜̤͖̖̔̈́̓͂͌̅͋͒̚s̶̢͔̠̫̲̳̩͓͎̻̫̱̣͒̀́̈́͜͜ǫ̶̢̣͓̦̝̮̤̱͉̥̟̍̐̽̓̇̍͛̂̽͐͆͆́̕͠ͅc̴̡̡̣̞͒͋̈́̄̋̈́̒̉͗̕͝ being!! A truly Immortal body!"

Her deep dark eyes glistened as she snapped her head in the direction of the other unconscious teenager.

"What about her?"

Very quickly, she ran the same series of tests on the girl, and when she was done, she burst out laughing.

"HAHAHA!! THE CONCEPT OF LUCK IS MINE TO CONTROL!! 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

TO THINK I’D FIND THE QUEEN’S BLOOD AS WELL!!"

The woman was ecstatic—that much was obvious from the way she rolled on the table laughing while holding her stomach.

"I’ve searched for hundreds of millennia for this. Who would have thought the solution would come unexpectedly."
