Beyond the Bloodline-Chapter 112: Ikerth’s General
Like that, the two began swimming towards the Void Gate, and on the way there, Jamie informed Miranda of his plans to use the Transcendents to power level himself to Transcendence.
The Mermaid transcendent, Brambus, Pirantu, and the one whom Miranda had just captured. Jamie planned to harvest them all for exp and forcefully boost his level.
"Good thing we have this ’Devour Class’ System."
Jamie muttered those words as they entered into the Void Gate and came out in Void City, with the male Hybrid taking a step back when he saw the devastation.
"Lillie was here."
The man muttered those words as he looked at the scene of the dragons still butchering themselves, while the Liberation Front’s First-Class Commanders were still combatting the few remaining Transcendents.
They went over to Dornik, intending to inform him of their decision to go over to Jopia; the continent with the Mermaids.
However, just before Miranda could speak, her perception instantly picked up on ’danger’. Not just her, but every other transcendent present in Void City picked up on the same feeling of danger
"...I’d be damned."
Jamie had known that the ERE zone was definitely valuable to Ikerth and his associates, and considering that they had faced ten Transcendents here instead of Five, that belief was affirmed even more.
"Mira, I’m breaking out my Fifth Privilege."
He instantly made the decision to pull out the Trump Card that he had been saving for Ikerth.
Miranda didn’t answer, but instead, she silently put away her baseball bats and summoned a Warhammer in her hands. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
For anyone who knew Miranda, the fact that she called forth a ’normal’ weapon and not something like a chainsaw or crowbars, meant that she was ’serious’.
Dornik also had a grave expression on his face, while all the First-Class commanders instantly backed away from their opponents and retreated towards Dornik’s position.
"Twenty, no...this is even more than Thirty..."
"First Grades...all of them..."
The Liberation Front Commanders muttered under their breaths as they looked around them, at the figures of the beings who had now surrounded them on all sides.
All of the beings whom they had designated at ’First Grade Threats’, from the Avatars of Race Lords to Zotovians Transcendents who had betrayed.
The energy bearing down on Jamie, Miranda, and the Liberation Front group was like an overpowering and all-consuming force descending from all sides, as if trying to crush them under its weight.
{When I heard the report, I had little doubts, but coming here, those doubts had vanished like smoke.}
A giant Red dragon exuding the aura of a Superior Stage Transcendent descended from the skies, landing atop the Void Gate with his red eyes locked towards Jamie and Miranda.
{Of course, it had to be you two...the Azure Hybrid and the Violet Hybrid...only you two would dare to pull something like this off.}
Dornik was completely baffled right now.
As far as he knew, none of the Avatars of the invading Race Lords should be in the Superior Stage of the Transcendent Realm.
That was how Zotov’s laws worked...that was the reason why the strongest of the Avatars so far had all been Intermediates Stage Transcendents.
But this dragon was clearly a superior stage, and what’s more, he could sense over a dozen transcendents he hadn’t been aware of!
He had estimated that there were 40 Non-Zotovian Transcendents on the planet, but from what he could see, his estimations were completely off the mark.
{Why so surprised, Dornik? There are more of us than you expected. Seems your senses have dulled after all these years of suppressing your power.}
The Superior Stage Red Dragon spoke with an expression that could only be described as a smirk.
However, when he didn’t get the reaction that he wanted from Dornik, he looked away with disinterest in his eyes, as if Dornik wasn’t worth his time either way.
He returned his gaze to Jamie who silently summoned the Galaxy sword, confirming to the dragon that his earlier order to Ikerth’s Lieutenants was the correct one.
This Dragon knew Jamie wasn’t someone who didn’t know when to back down, yet the fact that Jamie was preparing for a fight meant that he had ’no choice’
With over 30 transcendents covering the area in their aura, they had disrupted the space enough that even Jamie couldn’t teleport away.
Now, this brought on the question of why this particular dragon could ’Order’ Ikerth’s Lieutenants, but the answer was quite simple.
Because his rank was higher.
This Dragon was the one in charge of all of Ikerth’s operations on Zotov.
Dragon General Tasir.
This scene where Jamie, Miranda and the Liberation Front were surrounded by all of the hostile transcendents on the planet, was his decision.
Tasir intended to eliminate them here and now.
Destruction energy began charging up in his maw as he looked towards them, and with his actions as a cue, all the other Dragons present began taking up similar actions.
Jamie saw the dragons preparing for a breath attack and silently activated his Imperial Privileges. He coated his left hand in the essence of the law of Reality and prepared to use the Third Privilege once more.
It was then that a voice rang out in the heads of him and his ’allies’.
[No matter how I look at it, this situation is hopeless for you; so...I can pitch in now, can’t I?]
**RUMBLE!
Tasir’s rolling energy coagulated and he was ready to unleash the full-powered breath of destructive flames towards Jamie and Miranda when suddenly...everything came to a halt.
{...!}
Not just Void City, but the entirety of the Bliteon Continent...everything seemingly came to a halt.
Tasir noticed this anomaly that only lasted for a second, after which everything resumed as normal.
Yet the Dragon’s face rapidly contorted in anger as he retracted the energy he had been charging up for a breath.
He could not be blamed, as in front of him, all he found were the empty skies.
The location where a certain Silver-haired couple, as well as the Liberation Front’s Higher-ups had been—was entirely empty as if they had never been there!
No spatial fluctuations, no law energy that dealt with the void or space—nothing!
The enemies he was about to eradicate seemingly just disappeared as if they had never been there in the first place.
{That power...there’s no doubt about it...that was the power of a ’Race King’!}

Year 2018
One second, Jamie and Miranda were about to be bombarded by the combination Breath Attacks of over a dozen Transcendent dragons, and then the next second, they were both being shuttled through a spatial channel.
Barely five seconds passed and they found themselves arriving in a new area.
Looking around them, the place appeared to be a large room, constructed with steel walls and floors.
Gazing out the windows on both sides, they were greeted not with the blue sky, but the endless darkness of space and stars shining in the distance.
On the ground, was a silvery grey substance resembling powdered sand, covering the landscape as far as they could see.
Gravity felt...strange, to say the least, but it was something they both easily adapted to.
"You Esteans have the habit of going to other worlds and messing things up over there. Dealing with the Dragons was already enough on my plate, now I have to deal with both of you...I don’t even know what you are!"
Their eyes simultaneously turned in the direction of the being who spoke, coming face to face with a man with rust-coloured hair and eyes, clad in an ensemble of metallic-hued robes that seemed to shift with an ethereal gleam.
Gauntlets on his hands both glittered with embedded gems, and his every movement carried the hum of dense universal law energies.
"Alright, back up a bit...who the hell are you?"
Jamie threw out that question to the man who had his hand pressed to his temples, causing him to fix his pair of rust-coloured eyes on Jamie with an incredulous expression on his face.
"Weren’t you the one who was claiming that my power was with ’you’? To Liberate Oyend?"
He sighed and leaned back on his chair as he continued.
"I am what you Esteans call a ’Race King’. Personally, I prefer being referred to by my actual name and title.
Iron Sorcerer, Terion Cluxdius."
