Chapter 113: Terrion

"I am what you Esteans call a ’Race King’. Personally, I prefer being referred to by my actual name and title.

Iron Sorcerer, Terion Cluxdius."

The identity of the rust-haired and eyed man was revealed to be the one and only Race King level being from planet Zotov.

The exact same person whose name Jamie had used to scam the Liberation Front Soldiers some time ago.

As for why Jamie had still asked about who he was, that was simply because, at the time when he had seen the man on the moon, his figure only appeared to be a hazy silhouette with glowing eyes.

But considering he hadn’t sensed any Race King-level beings on the planet, he quickly assumed that the being he was looking at was the one Miranda had told him about.

"Esteans aren’t the only ones who use the ’Race Ruler’ titles, you know?"

"But I’m sure you guys are the ones who started it."

"..."

When he said it like that, Jamie certainly could not find a way to refute him. After all, he was right about that.

Esteans had been calling people in Terrion’s Existence Realm, who were also part of the Universe’s Pantheon, Race Kings for millions of years before Jamie was even born.

As for Terrion, the man’s mind wasn’t on the talk about their titles, but Jamie’s strange state.

The Hybrid had avoided direct contact with any Race King level being for the reason that they would be able to see through his concealment and discover he had lost his power at first glance.

Even a relatively new Race King like Terrion noticed the differences almost immediately.

To him, Jamie appeared to be a massive vessel; like a massive cylinder that could hold about ten units of water, but for some reason, there wasn’t even up to half a unit of content within it.

The rest was just a massive empty space that he couldn’t see the end of.

A massive empty space where all the power that ’Daniella’ had stolen from Jamie was supposed to be.

’But for Miranda...’

He could tell that her vessel was filled up to the brim, and it seemed to want to overflow. As if she was stuck in her existence realm without being able to ascend to the next one for some reason.

That was all Terrion could see.

’And this is her real body, not an Avatar like the other Esteans like to use.’

The moment he thought, that a voice rang out in his head.

[Be careful with those two; their true forms are monsters that the current you cannot even dare to comprehend.]

Terrion’s brow raised lightly when he heard this, and he looked back at the two Hybrids in front of him.

’I can understand if it’s her, but him as well?’

[Both of them.

His power is only fragmented. But the sheer amount of ’universal influence’ he possesses, so vast that you cannot see the end of it...shouldn’t that warn you on what kind of existence he is?]

It was then that Terrion used one of the privileges afforded to him as a member of the Universe’s pantheon and with it, his eyes widened in shock.

He realised that the universal influence that Jamie possessed; was so vast he couldn’t sense its depths.

’Perhaps...Monarchy?’

[Far higher.]

Just as those words rang out in his head, Jamie suddenly spoke up.

"While your rapidly changing expressions are a sight to see, mind telling your little friend to stop hiding and come out?"

"Yeah, we won’t bite."

Miranda chipped in a little, but her choice of words wasn’t exactly the kind that a woman called a ’Wolf goddess’ should have used in this case.

Both she and Jamie had their eyes not on Terrion, but on the ’ceiling’ of the space they were in.

[Tsk...you Esteans.]

This time, the voice rang out across the entire space, not just in Terrion’s head. And right after, a young teenage-looking boy appeared in the air and dropped down to the ground.

Jamie and Miranda didn’t need anyone to tell them who this young black-haired boy was, especially Jamie, considering he had met someone similar not too long ago.

This young boy was the incarnation of the Planet Zotov.

"Wow, I guessed right. He’s in his transition state and is quite close to breaking the limit.

How does it feel to finally become a ’proper planet’? Deities can combat on you without blowing you to bits on accident now."

Zotov’s expression darkened upon hearing the latter half of Jamie’s statement, as that was something that the planet certainly didn’t want happening.

He looked at Jamie with narrowed eyes, before turning his gaze away with a click on his tongue.

’Fucking monsters...’

The ’monsters’ in question, were busy analysing Terrion’s combat power relative to Ikerth’s, based on the amount of law energies and Authorities they could sense from him.

"He’s just an inferior stage, if he fought Ikerth, he’s gonna die, right?"

"Body and soul."

"Poor dude."

"A pity."

Jamie and Miranda shook their heads with sad expressions on their face, casually writing off the Race King as if his defeat was already set in stone.

But they weren’t wrong; after all, Terrion had already lost against Ikerth once in the past.

"Ikerth may be an idiot, but at least he’s got years of experience behind him."

"The difference between stages is also very vast too."

After concluding their analysis, the two of them turned towards Terrion and continued speaking without giving the man a chance to even say a word.

"You know, you could have avoided all of this had you just controlled the information about your Planet’s resources."

"We did just that! For tens of thousands of years!!

Until you Esteans decided to take a look at one of the random planets in your Interstellar Colony’s backyard!"

From the emotions in Terrion’s voice, it was very clear to them how angry the man felt at the events of the past few centuries since Ikerth discovered their world’s Ruindeum.

"Backyard? Just where are we on the star map?"

"Here."

Miranda pulled out a star map and showed Jamie the location of the Laizuno Star system, allowing him to see just how far Estea was from Zotov.

"Indeed, we are in the Colony’s backyard!"

"It’s like that isolated corner in the backyard you sometimes forget even exists."

"Only to one day wake up and see there’s a pound of gold or something over there."

"Guess, that’s how Ikerth felt when he discovered here."

Once again, Jamie and Miranda conversed amongst themselves, ignoring the two people in front of them like they weren’t even there.

’These two are infuriating to be around.’

Zotov was gradually getting incensed just by looking at them, and that feeling only increased when Jamie dismissed the star map and spoke.

"As you know, we came here to have an advev—to offer you help, and get rid of Ikerth."

[Help me? I don’t think the words ’Adventure Date’ and ’Help’ sound alike in any way.]

"Don’t sweat the small stuff."

Right now, Zotov wanted to crack Jamie’s head open and understand exactly what in his thought process, made him arrive at the conclusion that this was ’small stuff’.

"We’re really here to help; it’s just that it also happens to be a little adventure date for us."

Seeing the two laughing with each other, Zotov’s brow twitched repeatedly. Noticing this, Jamie spoke up to put an end to their little inside jokes.

"Alright Mira, the little boy is getting pissed."

"Oh Really?"

The next moment, Terrion’s eyes widened in shock as he saw Miranda take a step forward, only to suddenly ’appear’ beside Zotov and pat the planet incarnation’s head.

"Don’t be angry little one."

Seeing this little action of hers, a terrifying realisation dawned on him.

’This woman...she isn’t restrained by Zotov’s laws anymore...

No wait... she’s still restrained, but they’re so weak that she can break out of it at any time.’

Zotov’s Realm Suppression had a sphere of influence that was as wide as the planet’s gravitational field, and that included the moon where they were currently.

But in Miranda’s case, Terrion could see that the influence exerted was lesser the further away from the planet they were, despite the fact that it remained the same for every other being.

[Don’t treat me like a child!]

Zotov pushed her hands away and warped away to Terrion’s other side, but Miranda only laughed as if she found his reaction to be cute at best.

"Given your appearance, it’s hard for me to treat you as anything BUT a child."

She shrugged as she spoke, before moving back beside Jamie who had pulled out one of the two-seater couches in his subspace.

"Now then, let’s be serious."

As if her words were a switch, her playful demeanour vanished completely like it was never there; similar to Jamie as the both of them faced Terrion and Zotov with serious eyes.

"Forgetting how we see this whole thing as ’entertainment’, we’re really serious about getting rid of Ikerth’s influence on this planet."

Jamie spoke as he leaned back and crossed his arms, with Miranda chipping in right after.

"Personally, I want to cut off Ikerth’s access to Ruindeum.

If possible, I’d also like to hide the location of this planet so we don’t have a second ’Ikerth’ trying their luck."
