Beyond the Bloodline-Chapter 114: Terrion II
Hearing her words, Terrion felt as if she had already made the decision and was simply just informing them of a decision she had made long ago.
From the very beginning, Miranda had intended to change the location of the entire Laizuno Star system and move it to her and Jamie’s territory; the Argent Empire.
She intended to do this to cut off Ikerth’s source of power in the interstellar market, but to a third party, it just looked like she wanted to monopolize the Ruindeum for herself.
But still, even if that was her intention, who could say anything about it?
Jamie, Miranda and the other Hybrids were beings closely connected with this Universe’s History, and what’s more, they were Esteans as well.
Miranda would face little opposition if she decided to move the entire star system to a different location.
’The Main Entities might not like it though...’
However, when one considered the real reason why she wanted to do this, she was sure they’d shut their mouths and let her do things her way.
"I also plan to completely cripple all of Ikerth’s influence; meaning I’d be targeting other things under him...or rather, I’m already targeting his other endeavours.
I intend to also go after the Ruindeum he’s mined over the years and kept off world as well."
Now this was news to even Jamie, as he wasn’t aware of the depths of Miranda’s plans for Ikerth.
One thing was certain though; and that was that the reason why Miranda was doing all of this, was more for his sake than anything else.
The woman looked around with her eyes glowing, and though she appeared to be looking at empty space, Terrion knew her gaze was piercing through the space they were in and at the dozens of Dragon Army Star ships surrounding Zotov.
Holding out her palm, she generated a hologram of the planet Zotov, with its eight continents displayed in different colours.
Alenlet and Oyend were green, Bliteon was grey, and the remaining five were red.
Jamie moved his index finger and tapped the projection of Bliteon, changing its colour to red just like the others while shaking his head.
"Tasir would definitely have Bliteon on full lockdown.
The EREs are unusable due to the shut down sequence I initiated on them, but that doesn’t change the value of Bliteon much.
Right now, the Liberation Front would have an easier time attacking even Ladoa than Bliteon, despite how much of its combat power has been diminished."
"Hmm...when you consider that guy’s personality, I guess that’d be the case."
Seeing as Miranda was in agreement, Jamie continued with his words.
"Though I said they’d have an easier time on Ladoa, that doesn’t mean they should attack there.
In my opinion..."
He rotated the projection to the other side, before pointing at the continent in the middle of the Territories currently controlled by Ikerth.
"If we hit them with a blitzkrieg over here, it’d mess things up greatly.
We can then continue with guerrilla attacks on each continent, at random intervals."
He stopped speaking mid-way and turned his gaze towards Terrion and Zotov, gazing at them silently before speaking.
"With your actions just now, Tasir would not hesitate to contact Ikerth, regardless of whatever is keeping him occupied.
Meaning we’re going to be dealing with a very furious lizard sooner than anticipated.
With the Realm Suppression Law in place, the main battles are all going to take place on Zotov; which is good, as you would lose if things were to be taken interstellar."
Zotov’s realm suppression laws restricted even the existence realm of Terrion, the planet’s indigenous Race King, and Dornik, who was actually a Race Lord.
But this impartiality on Zotov’s part was precisely what made its Realm Suppression so strong, enough that Ikerth and his Lieutenants had no choice but to abide by it.
"My plan entails you having to deal with Tasir’s Avatar; leaving the remaining Lieutenants, as well as the traitor transcendents, to both Dornik’s men and the Race Lords you have here."
Jamie’s words casually revealed the location of the remaining Zotovian Race Lords besides Dornik, but the man continued his words like it wasn’t something worth mentioning.
"It’d be best to take down as many Lieutenants as possible with the random attacks, but it’s also okay if that’s not feasible.
Instead, we should focus on destroying as much of Ikerth’s infrastructure as possible within the short amount of time for attack.
The loss of Bliteon’s Dragon and Allied Army would make Tasir spread out their forces a bit, making each individual attack easier on our side."
"Hold on a bit..."
Terrion interrupted Jamie’s words, with a snap of his fingers, the distance between the two duos reduced, enough that he could now touch the projection Miranda created.
"I have two major questions.
Your plan entails multiple battles between Transcendents occurring simultaneously. That’d be too much for even an entire continent to handle.
This means we’d have to sacrifice a continent which would be the zone of these battles. As well as sacrifice millions of Zotovians who would undoubtedly be caught up in the crossfire.
As much as I don’t want that...it’s not why I interrupted you."
Rotating the projection randomly, he asked his first question.
"Which continent would be the ’sacrifice’?
Looking right at Jamie and Miranda, he asked the second.
"And just who exactly is going to be the one to deal with Ikerth himself?"
In response to Terrion’s question, Jamie only grinned lightly before replying.
"You know, I’ve been craving ’hot wings’ ever since I came here."
[...]
"...you couldn’t possibly...?"
Terrion backed away quite a bit once he understood what Jamie was insinuating, causing the Hybrid to look at him with confusion.
"Dragonoids eat humanoids all the time, but when a humanoid wants to do the same, it’s suddenly a war crime?"
"When you put it like that..."
"Besides, I’m only doing it just to mess with the guy. If I really wanted hot wings that badly, I could walk into a restaurant on Alenlet and get some."
"That you could..."
"Good, so can we now go back to planning things?"
"Yes, we can."
Jamie casually took charge of the conversation, before spinning around the globe projection and tapping a random spot.
"Sad, that’s Alenlet. Spin again then."
He repeated this action and though Terrion initially looked on in confusion, his brain quickly computed what Jamie was doing in the next second.
"Oy, no way you’re gonna select the battlefield just like th—!"
"Oh, Bliteon it is."
And Jamie proceeded to select the zone for the final battle ’just like that’. He was also a person shameless enough to look at Terrion like he was the crazy one here.
"The fuck is this shit! 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Hey, Zotov! Say something!"
[Shut up, I’m trying to calculate something.]
The planet’s incarnation quickly silenced Terrion, making the man feel as if he had zero allies in this situation.
Before Terrion could say anything else, Zotov appeared in front of Jamie and spun the globe again, selecting a particular continent and speaking.
[Use here, Eawin.]
"Any particular reason why?"
[It’s where those damned lizards lived.]
With that line, Jamie and Miranda understood that the planet still held a grudge against the dragons who sold information to Ikerth, allowing the Dragon King’s original Blitzkrieg to succeed without a hitch.
Normally it would have taken action, but Ikerth was not foolish enough not to know this so the Dragon King had the information exchange conducted off-world.
"Well...I guess that’s about it.
We’d use this Eawin place as the ’Battleground’. We’re effectively wiping out Dragons on Zotov by doing this...even the ones who had no part in Ikerth’s plan. Is that okay with you?"
[Yes.]
Zotov calmly replied, not even the slightest bit bothered that an entire race was going to be removed from its race index.
To the planet, its survival comes first; only after that would it think about the existences living on it.
It might sound cold, but planetary consciousnesses were 100% logical existences that put their own survival as the first priority.
If Survival meant that billions had to die, then so be it.
As soon as the planet gave its approval, Terrion felt great changes in his universal influence, as well as the threads of fate.
This was expected, as he was currently ’Zotov’s Protector’, and the fate of ’Dragons’ on Zotov was about to change greatly, it’d be weirder if the law of fate did not react.
"Now then, I believe we should be done here."
"Wait...You’re currently a Sovereign Realm existence.
Even if you had her help fighting Ikerth, you’d only bring her down..."
"Dude, you didn’t have to say it like that..."
For the first time, Terrion saw the shameless Jamie actually receive damage from his words, and the man couldn’t help but feel a strange sense of satisfaction, however, he quickly snapped out of it and continued with his question.
"The time we have till Ikerth gets here is limited...how are you going to get strong enough to fight him."
When Terrion asked that question, Jamie slowly turned towards him with his lips curling up into a light grin.
Suddenly, a crimson aura erupted from his body, sending chills down the spines of everyone present.
Even Miranda instinctively flinched when she felt that aura, much less Terrion and Zotov.
This action of Jamie’s was enough to give Terrion the answer he wanted, the same as the universal law Jamie just released.
"Slaughter..."
