Dream mist surrounded his fist then he infused his extinguishing tribulation lightning into it, mixture of green and purple lightning.

The mist turned into thunder clouds around his fist. He pounced, the herald responded with his own punch.

They were relative in terms of speed both having reached the peak of whats possible before comprehending laws.

Their fists clashed and the heralds entire arms shattered. He gritted his teeth, that punch hurt more than he expected.

Ved was using dream mist combined with tribulation lightning, both which have properties that can directly harn the soul and spirit.

Ved kicked, his leg turned into blood, space bent around him and cracked. The herald knew he was outclassed in terms of physical strength.

So he coated his entire body with blood red energy. He blocked the kick, the sea below them exploded up.

He grabbed Ved’s leg and pulled him closer than punched him in the stomach. He felt as if he had punched a brick wall.

However he did not let up, instead he brought out his black claws and cut Ved’s stomach open.

Ved watched as his entrails fell to the sea, he fell back as if dying making the herald relax, before he could react a punch broke his chest.

Ved stood up, his wound having already healed. He looked excited, they lunged at each other again.

They flew across the sky like streaks of lights, evertime they clashed space itself shattered leaving large holes on the world.

Using the blood energy the herald was able to match his physical strength but his power was more than that.

Blood rays danced through sky chasing Ved who kept dodging them. He waved his hand and created wax shields.

The blood rays cut through them like paper and headed straight for him, he knew he couldn’t avoid them forever.

He blew up nuclear energy around himself, blue flames spread out and covered the sky, the blood rays were consumed by the explosion.

They attacked each other, they battle shaking the sky and overturning the seas. Naledi was still talking to her friends.

" You need to leave, we got things here. The herald has his subordinates all over the world wreaking havoc right now."

They nodded she took off, she turned her head up and watched the two of them duke it out.

Ved was losing badly, the herald was covered in blood red flames with wings as red as blood behind him.

Naledi could sense Vermilion’s phoenix flame but they were different now, stronger even.

As strong as Ved was physically he couldn’t defeat the herald, especially not in human form.

However her lovely idiot seemed hell bent to continue fighting like that so she stood back and watched.

This lasted no more than an hour before Ved came crashing down next to her. The sea exploded and shook.

Waves as tall as skyscrapers spread out in every direction yet her throne of ice did not even sway.

She looked down at the bottom of the sea and saw him lying there with a hole on his chest.

Red flames around the wound preventing him from healing. " Need help sweetie?" She asked in a mocking tone.

He clicked his tongue, " The bastard is stronger than I expected, truly worthy of being a final boss villain.

However he’s still no match for the great hero." He flew up and stopped in the air above her.

He turned his head and looked at her then pointed at him with his thumb. " That’s me by the way, I’m the great hero."

She giggled, " The greatest." The herald felt his anger rise as he watched them, they were treating this as a joke, they were treating him as a joke.

Naledi took out snacks from her spatial ring, " My love, I do think you should start taking things seriously, we still have his subordinates to take care of."

He shook his head, " Not really, the others can take care of them, you should trust them more." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

She shrugged, " If you say so, I still think we should finish this quickly." She told him while eating a bar of chocolate.

" You got it." He started transforming back to his true form. The herald grew mad with rage watching them.

His ears grew longer like that of elves, his fangs grew even longer and so did his scales.

All of teeth grew sharp and he turned into a hideous monster. His aura skyrocketed to insane levels.

A blood red aura covered his body then it was followed by the red flames. Ved took his true form.

The herald attacked, his body blurred forward, his speed did not increase as he had already reached the peak of what he can achieve at this realm.

However his physical strength grew significantly stronger. Ved was on the same situation.

The moment the herald attacked his image projected itself behind him. It was almost fully physical now.

The moment it appeared a gentle aura caressed him like a mother touching her child.

What he did not notice was that it enveloped Naledi as well. Ved did not even pay attention to the fact that he had brought his entire body here.

The former him would’ve left at least a single avatar behind for safety reasons. The moment the image appeared he also used soul force.

Then it was followed by ignition 4x, his body bent spacetime around himself. He punched with a martial intent covered fist.

It power was so great Naledi was forced to create a barrier around herself so the shockwave wouldn’t disturb her.

The herald immediately attacked as well, a giant if blood and flames appeared like armour around him.

It met Ved’s fist head on, the world slowed down around them, then a calamitous shockwave spread out.

The sea itself was pushed apart, the shockwave was felt across the entire world. However Ved slightly lost in that exchange.

The giant’s fist cracked but Ved’s entire arm shattered, bone and blood flew everywhere and he crashed back down on the sea.

The entire sea for thousands of kilometres shook under his weight. He flew back up, his arm already healed.

" That didn’t go out as well I thought it would." He grumbled. Naledi laughed.

" You’ve got this, I believe in you." She cheered him on while eating yoghurt.
