Chapter 315: Chapter 315: Battles Around the World.

While Ved was facing the herald of blood other battles raged across the world. White and Pulse walked through a a forest reeking of blood.

They stopped, Infront of them were three people, of rather creatures. Ugly things with sharp teeth and long ears.

They were feasting on humans and spiritual beasts. When the two of them appeared they stopped and looked at them.

The one who looked like the strongest stood forward and grinned revealing teeth stained by blood.

" My brothers and sisters, it would appear food has delivered itself to us." He sniffed the air and his grin grew wider.

" You two smell quite delicious." He roared, his voice came out hoarse like the screams of a million damned souls.

The smell of blood throughout the forest grew thicker, demonic beasts roared agitated.

The blood and the blood moon made them much more aggressive. However that was not merely it.

More humanoid red skinned people came out and surrounded them. Their auras were strong.

The first three were the strongest, the leader appeared to be an envoy and the other two as well as the rest were just vermin.

Now that they looked closely they realised the others while more intelligent than any other vermin they had ever met, were not as intelligent as the leader.

Their eyes held the savagery of beasts. To prove that point they started growling. Beasts roared and the forest shook.

White stretched her bones, she was not worried in the slightest. " How do we do this? Will you fight the leader or should I?"

She asked, her usually childish tone long gone, her voice only held a heart stopping killing intent.

Pulse pulled out her harp and strung a single note. Sound spread out across the entire forest.

None of them understood what she was doing, creatures of the void had no concept of music.

They thought it was an attack and stood vigilant but they felt nothing and relaxed. She strung four more notes creating a harmonious melody.

She closed her eyes, " You take care of the big guy, you can leave the vermin to me." The vermin roared believing she was looking down on them.

White grinned, white martial intent surrounded her feet like boots, the sound of thunder exploded.

A crater was left on the ground and before any of them could react a white flash hit the envoy of blood.

He was thrown back and the forest was destroyed for a dozen kilometres behind him.

The others tried to interfere but Pulse strung the strings of her harp creating a sound dome trapping them in.

She didn’t say a word, they attacked her, she had to admit they were strong and fast. Her human form was physically weaker than her true form but faster and smaller.

Much smaller making her more agile, she danced around their attacks while playing her harp.

Each time she did they would block for the few times but eventually realised her songs couldn’t harm them.

One of them appeared behind her like a shadow, it swiped it claws at her sending crescent blood slashes at her.

She played her harp creating a sound barrier behind her that blocked the attack, instead of attacking she continued playing while running around.

Occasionally she would block but she never attacked, not once which made them confident.

----------------------------------------------------------

White’s fight was more straight forward, both her and her opponent focussed mostly on close combat.

He was fast and strong, even stronger than she was but not faster. Very few beings in this world were faster than her.

This surprised and confused the envoy of blood. As a creature of the void he looked down on those born under the heavens.

However he did understand that there were monsters there, even he wouldn’t dare face a divine rank being.

What confused him was that the creature he was facing was merely of the sky grade, not even legendary which is equal to his envoy.

His void spark blazes inside him, his power grew stronger yet no matter how much stronger he got he couldn’t match her speed.

White was already going all out having even summoned her image but the envoy was going all out as well.

They didn’t have images of course but that did not make them weaker. Those of them who were special had something called a void body.

It was a type of physique that can only be obtained by the most talented of them which he prided himself as one of.

When the void body was active, a dark spiral would appear somewhere on theory bodies, for him it was his forehead.

Which was great since he could display his status to all those who can see him. The void body was currently active yet he still couldn’t defeat his opponent.

White’s thought were different, she was surprised by how weak this envoy was. Not in terms of pure power.

However he was like a child with too much power. He just lashed around like an idiot, a person like that couldn’t land a single solid hit on her.

She danced around him, her foot went for his face, he raised his arm to block and instead she changed her attack.

Her foot stopped just before touching his arm, she pulled back then kicked him with the left leg instead.

His obvious lack of martial arts and experienced meant he couldn’t react to that. He shot back like a red streak destroying the forest.

" Roooaar." He roared so loud the sky shook but White was not shaken. The herald opened his palm and a blood drop appeared.

It grew larger until it blotted out the sky, then he dropped it on her. She conjured a spear of lightning and threw it.

It flew up like a streak of light and pierced through the blood drop. However the drop of blood continued falling towards her like a mountain.

The herald grinned at her obviously proud of his attack. White didn’t know if to laugh of be sad for him.

This guy was like a spoilt brat that had never once been in a real battle. Her martial intent flickered like white lightning.

Her mass dropped, she kicked off the ground and disappeared.
