Beast Evolution System: Devourer of Heaven-Chapter 313: Arrival
Ved and Naledi immediately took off after giving a few instructions. His army spread out through the world.
It wasn’t hard for them to find the battleground, it was the only place on earth emitting so much energy.
When they arrived they saw a giant golden dome. Inside it they could see everybody frozen in time.
Their eyes landed on the red haired man sitting on a throne of blood. It was obviously Vermilion but they could both tell somebody else was controlling his body.
The herald using Vermilion’s body was slowly breaking free of the time prison. Ved and Naledi can see the micro movement of his body.
Ved pulled back his fist and punched, the sky shook from the force of his punch. The golden sphere shattered like glass.
The time prison was broken and everybody was able to move again. When they came to they saw two people standing Infront of the herald.
A man with long black and white hair and golden eyes. A beautiful woman with blue hair that has white tips.
She was dressed in a blue dress and had piercing blue eyes. " Naledi?" Cat asked a bit confused.
She remembers them setting up the formation but nothing after. Aira explained that there must’ve been a problem with the formation.
While they were discussing, the herald was watching the two new comers with interest, he could tell they were strong.
However he strangely could not find them in the memories of Vermilion as if they were erased.
" Interesting." He whispered which made Ved very excited. Naledi pulled out her sword and was ready to attack when he stood forward.
" Boss fight, it’s a freaken boss fight, look at him, the way he’s dressed, the way he’s sitting and his dismissive look he’s obviously a boss villain.
By the love of Gods Naledi don’t take this away from me." He looked at her with excitement.
Naledi looked confused and so was everybody else. They knew he was powerful but the herald had manhandled them all.
Even the king of beasts does not have that much power. They thought he was crazy, the only person who can face the herald was Naledi.
They were right of course but they had not accounted for his recent power upgrade. While his bloodline had not grown stronger.
His body could match that of a mythical grade dragon. Mythical grade dragons were known as the noble dragons.
Their power was immense, even using their body alone they were stronger than most mythical grade beings.
Of course even they couldn’t match divine beings, those monsters defied all logic when it comes to power.
However the herald was not a divine grade, his power was great because he took over another mythical grade as one himself.
However he was merely at the absolute peak of mythical grade but did not cross the boundary.
Ved turned and faced him, then he took a step forward. His weight shook the sea below him.
It twisted with each step causing sea vortexes. A black intent covered his fist, while he couldn’t fully utilise dragon martial arts in human form, he can still use it.
He kicked off the sea and it exploded sending enough water to drown cities into the sky.
His busy moved so fast he reached the herald in a split moment and punched. The world seemed to stand still.
Then the herald raised his hand slowly like he did with other. BOOOOM. The punch landed on his face.
Blood flew and he shot back like a red streak flying hundreds of kilometres away. His entire head was shattered into blood mist.
Even Ved was surprised, he didn’t know his body had reached that level of speed. The only reason he didn’t break the light barrier was because the world itself stopped him.
However he could already feel it, he had reached the pinnacle of speed achievable believe comprehension realm.
He clicked his tongue, " That’s it? That’s quite disappointing." He grumbled under his breath but everybody heard him.
They choked, what they had just seen was incompressible. The man who has just handled them like children had their fade smashed in by a single punch.
Of course they knew he was not dead but still. " You’re the one who killed him too early, stop whining." Naledi told him in a bored tone.
Ved sighed, " It’s not my fault, he could’ve blocked that punch if he wasn’t acting all cool Infront of me." 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
" Congratulations, I underestimated you, forgive me child of origin." He heard a voice behind him.
He turned and saw the herald walking towards them, each step taking him tens of kilometres.
Ved was confused by what he meant by child of origin or why he was still alive after completely destroying his head.
" You must Ved." The herald said then bowed, " It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, now I understand why the former owner of this body failed to kill you."
Ved took a deep breath, " I’m assuming you’re the herald of blood." The herald nodded.
" Indeed, I’m Dragnasol of the #@£&+@#_ lineage." The name of his lineage was muted but that didn’t bother Ved.
The others were different though, to them they felt like he just spoke an incomprehensible language.
Ved, Naledi and the librarian all understood. The herald had uttered the true name of the Nameless of Blood.
Their souls were too weak to comprehend such a name so the heavens mute it so they wouldn’t die or worse be corrupted.
" Incase you didn’t know, We’ve dealt with quite a few of your kind, what makes you think you can do better?"
The herald just laughed, " What you dealt with child of the eldest were mere fragments of their power.
Do not be so proud, you remember what happened when you came face to face to the true form of the one of nightmares no?"
The herald grinned trying to mock him but Ved grinned back. " You’re right, I wouldn’t be able to deal with your true form.
However you’re not in your true form now are, you are trapped in a body of a projection realm man. You’re trapped with me." His eyes flickered with green lightning.
