Affinity: Chaos-Chapter 1528 An Opportunity
Void didn't hold the Wolf to a stalemate, he was straight up beating it black and blue. They were not on the same level. Grey, on the other hand, was fighting with the man, at a disadvantage, but he was still able to hold his own. He knew there was no way the man would make a mistake for him to capitalize on, so he was trying to create a chance for Klaus. If Klaus used his ice needle, he would be able to deal a great deal of damage to the man, he might even be able to incapacitate him for a short time, giving Grey the chance he needed to take him down. The man was fighting cautiously. After seeing Void appear out of thin air, he didn't carelessly brawl with Grey since he didn't know what might appear out of thin air again. A living being coming out of Grey's spatial storage already showed that he was very special. First off, Grey is stronger than all the First stage Sovereigns he had ever entangled with, even the Second stage Sovereigns are around the same stage as Grey, if not even weaker. Since he had the advantage of both speed and attack power, he is able to suppress Grey. With the man being quite reserved in the battle, Grey didn't find any chance as the battle continued. It got to a stage and the man turned around to escape after blocking Grey's attack. He had already seen that since he was cautious, there was no way he could get his hands on the evasive Grey, especially when he didn't make any stupid mistakes. Since this was the case, he felt there was no point in fighting any longer and decided to let Grey leave. Grey didn't want to let the man go, this was his only chance to take revenge on the man. Since he had already exposed his ability to sneak close to the man, the man would always be alert which would make taking revenge incredibly difficult. With that thought in mind, he blocked the escape path of the man.
"Have you asked me if it's okay to leave?" Grey's arrogant voice echoed in the ears of the man as he saw Grey standing before him. "Kid, I'm done playing." The man said coldly. Grey's expression turned cold, he understood what the man implied. However, he also knew the only reason the man was saying this was because he couldn't defeat him. "Fighting someone that's two stages weaker and you can't even hold your ground for a few minutes." Grey said, he looked at the eyes of the man and said, "You're nothing but a coward that's looking to run away since you can't beat a kid." The man looked at Grey, "You think a child like you can taunt me?"
He laughed and added, "I've been in this game long enough to know that I shouldn't be bothered with things like this. Since I want to leave, you can't stop me."
Grey looked at the man and his gaze turned serious, he entered a fighting position and gestured to the man to make a move. His intention was clear, make a move, and I attack. Grey didn't care if the man was coming to attack him or not, he would attack either way. The man saw Grey's expression and frowned. "I'm only taking pity on you." He snorted, "But it looks like you don't deserve it. I'll kill you, gladly." The man released a shocking killing intent. It naturally had no effect on Grey. This wasn't the first time he was facing something like this. He didn't care about the man's killing intent, it wasn't enough to even startle him. Given his own killing intent, he felt the man's own paled in comparison, even though the man had lived a longer life and might've even killed more people. The man didn't expect Grey to be motionless when he unleashed his killing intent, but given the exchanges he has had with Grey, he knew this wouldn't be enough to chase him away. Grey was the first to attack. The man blocked the attack and forced Grey back. He took a glance and saw Void rushing over, obviously, his Wolf had been dealt with. 'Hmm, this will be a little troublesome.' He knew Void was powerful, and since he would team up with Grey would make the duo strong enough to even contend with him. This wasn't something he expected, but it also wasn't something that made him scared. This wasn't his first time battling two First stage Sovereigns in his lifetime, and it wouldn't be the last!
Grey attacked, and the man blocked, turning to unleash an attack in Void's direction. Void blocked the attack, but was met with another one which stopped him in his tracks. When he finished blocking the attacks, he saw Grey's figure shooting to the ground at an extremely fast speed, it was clear that he was crashing without his control. He wanted to save Grey, but the man smiled and made a move to leave the area. He knew Grey didn't want the man to leave, so he went after the man, leaving Grey to face the full force of the ground he was going to land on. The man was also stronger than Void, but Void didn't take his attacks head-on. Since he needed to stall, he didn't try to attack the man and only focused on defending. The man kept his eyes on Void, but his full focus was on the place Grey crashed. He felt compared to a Magical Beast, Grey was more deadly. He was in the middle of doing both when Void's large figure suddenly took the shape of a human figure. Before the man could react, another human appeared behind him. All his focus was on the one in front of him that he didn't notice the other one until it was too late.
"Where did he..."
